I love Sonesta because they have outdoor pool and kitchen to cook for my kids. They did not prepare pool towels in pool area. I was asked get some pool towers from front , and they said they will offer 1 towel for per person ONLY. I came every summer and winter Sonesta in different locations. I’ve never heard I need to bring our own towels in swimming pool.

Beware! You have to pay for parking. Read the fine print: one of the "amenities" is "Self parking on site USD 5 per night." That\'s not optional That\'s kind of absurd: they have a big lot surrounding the property so this is just a way of gouging a few extra bucks from people staying there. It\'s not as if they _also_ offer valet parking! And this isn\'t mid-town Manhattan! I bet everybody who comes here comes in a car, so this is just a way of adding $5/night to the quoted rate, which seems deceptive to me. I\'ve stayed here several times in the past. It\'s been good, on par with the hotel next door. But this annoyed me so badly that, unless I have a good reason, I\'ll be staying next door next time. Also, the carpet in the rooms has gotten a little dingy. Front desk staff were nice.

Not enough staff. Very nice lady at front desked seemed overworked. Our ive machine in room was broken. No ice trys. The ice machine in lobby was also brocken. The rooms are being to look worn . I have stayed there many times. I love the lovstion and the full kitchen,

Nice suits with kitchen and spacious living room and dining area, well kept, great pool, convenient laundry, great breakfast. A bit pricy but worth it. Driving around is a bit hassle since there are no left turns. Not as close to Princeton U. as I thought. Need to drive for about 15 minutes.

Throughout our stay for 7 days the internet service was not there and no alternative provided. Washers and dryers were in bad shape. Breakfast timing and the quality was not good. Other than that living space is pretty good.

We arrived and found the room dirty, dingy and smelling. The supervisor, though, was very nice and moved us to a different room. It was equally dirty. We cancelled and found another hotel. The supervisor was very professional about the whole situation.

The room had a musty smell and I saw what looked like mold spots on a lamp shade and walls near the vent. I told the staff and they came and sprayed bleach on it and it went away. I also saw dead bugs on the kitchen floor. The pictures online are not an accurate representation of what the rooms look like. The pool was nice, however, and breakfast was also good.

This property is a apartment conversion. It is very stark.The construction is pretty shotty... and the furniture is very old and dirty. The carpet and/unit smelled bad when we walked in! It's very much a "B-" property.. for the price it is what it is. The only issue I really have is Hotels.com's rating! It is not 8.6 excellent. It's a 6 decent/ok, period. It definitely needs a cleaning and a furniture refreshing/cleaning. I'm thinking it may have been a dog friendly unit!??

2 bedroom suite was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and surprisingly each bedroom had a private bathroom instead of the advertised shared bathroom. The mini kitchen was more than enough for us. We originally booked the 2 bedroom suite so all family members would have a common area to congregate in which we did. Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been an elevator especially for 3rd floor rooms . We had never heard of Sonesta ES but we’re glad we took a chance and stayed there. The suite was larger in size and less expensive than comparables at other chains.

Unfortunately, there was blood splatter throughout one of our bedrooms. Unfortunately, the hotel manager has not found the time to reach out to address the situation. The room was also not clean overall. There was dust, dirt and old food throughout the kitchen and the living room.

Good place and breakfast was decent. Only one staff person working so they ran out of food and coffee very frequently. Coffee bar should be open 24 hours. Room was very nice and beds. Next time I would pick a room farther away from US1. Road noise was very noticeable.

Everything was pretty good, with the exception of the old carpet and a broken TV stand. The carpet had a patch that was visible and the carpet tacks were protruding at the entrance to one bedroom—3 of the 4 guests stepped on them with bare feet. And would have liked more maid service—perhaps complete service every other day.

This was a great value for an inexpensive night on the road. If there was an elevator to the 3rd floor, we didn't find it. On the plus side, the bed and bedding were very comfortable and the rooms were very clean. On the downside, the living room furniture was in poor condition and not very comfortable. We arrived at 7:30 PM and asked the front desk for dinner options, but they didn't have a list and weren't of much help. Otherwise, very pleasant staff.

Internet was not working. We blew thru all data very quickly and are now having to pay for data being used until the end of the month. Even though we were compensated I do not think it will cover our costs. The toilet tank and sink were cracked. The shower did not operate properly (shower and tub would both be on the whole time). The rugs have seen better days. The sofa and chair had no cushions on the back....a new furniture trend perhaps that I have not heard of? The toaster in the room should be thrown away as it seems to be more of a fire hazard than anything else. The only saving grace was that the beds were comfortable. This place needs to be refreshed.

The suites are roomy. The full kitchen provides a lot of convenience. Our only complaint is that the mattress on the pull out sofa. The padding on the mattress was thin enough so that any person of reasonable body weight can feel the springs and metal rods being pushed into their back, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep.

I got 2 bed room suite, which was a nice surprise to me. Room was very spacious, clean and the kitchen had a full refrigerator, a microwave, stove,a coffee maker and every thing else you would need for a home away from home. swimming pool is rather small. grounds are nice and had picnic tables and grills. The receptionist Mr. Mustafa was very courteous and helpful. I would have given it 5 stars except for the internet that did not work and for the smelly mulch and no view.

I decided to stay an extra night and I used a different card for payment. They charged me, AGAIN, for a security deposit of $250. So, to be clear, the first night I was charged 250$ security deposit in to of the room fee, and then when I decided to stay another night, instead of just using deposit they already took, they charged me again another 250$! THEN THEY DO NOT GIVE IT BACK RIGHT AWAY WHEN YOU LEAVE IT TAKES 3-5 DAYS! UNACCEPTABLE! THEY EITHER THE MONEY IMMEDIATELY BUT THEN DON’T RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY! FOR THAT REASON ALONE I WOULD NEVER GO BACK THERE OR RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!

The service was terrible. The lady who helped us check in was not super friendly. We also requested to have a baby crib, but they didn’t provide to us at all. The person in the breakfast buffet was super super slow too. She didn’t refill food unless told to do so. The room isn’t clean either. The floor was super dirty and the kitchen appliances weren’t complete. We wanted to cook but couldn’t.

Really unexpected stay. We weren’t expecting much but the staff at the hotel were all absolutely wonderful and so welcoming. The breakfast was good every day, a nice variety especially for kids. We were kindly upgraded to a two bedroom suite and it was huge! Perfect for travelling as a family. Considering it’s on a super busy road it was so quiet. Our children loved the stay. The kitchen option was a great addition to a long trip to save a little cash!

Every staff member we encountered — from middle-of-the-night check-in gentleman (I didn’t catch his name, but he was on in wee hours of 2/24) to Carolyne at check-out — was helpful and courteous and attuned to our needs. PLEASE RETHINK the policy of putting room number on the car-parking badge on dashboard. Huge safety issue (which we will strongly oppose when we return at the end of May to this property)

I had over a week-long stay and by the end, I couldn't wait to leave. When I got to my room, everything seemed good. When I used the kitchen, most of the utensils were dirty and the pan needed a solid scrub. No biggie gave it all a wash. Then the lights in the living room started flickering, I called guest services and was told no one was onsite to handle that and it would be addressed tomorrow. Ok, get back the next day and the lights aren't flickering. Over the weekend the cleaning crew didn't show up. Come Monday they were back, but they missed Wednesday... The lights started flickering again and the light in the bathroom went out, I was once again told that no one could help today and I had to wait..... I will not be staying here again.

Great stay at the Sonesta . The front desk manager Alania was fantastic. We booked 6 rooms, she made our check in seamless. Based off of Alania's service we will definitely book with Sonesta when in Princeton NJ.... a must stay

I stayed 1 night with family on our way to Washington DC. The Hotel is very good, the room they gave us was really big with 2 separated bedrooms each one wit its own bathroom wich comes just perfect for a family of 4. Breakfast was also nice offering good variety of choice. Location was convenient for us as a 1 night stop and Princeton is few minutes away by car but the Hotel is right on a large high traffic avenue so the area immediately around the hotel is not really enjoyable.

The hotel was very clean. The staff was friendly enough, but they did not tell us what time breakfast started or ended. I woke up at 9 o’clock and call and they said breakfast was over. Also, I had a two bedroom suite and the second bedroom. There was a lot of noise and was very hard to sleep in. I found the hotel to be very noisy but overall my experience was good.

The property was new and hence it was clean and had great facilities. A well stocked kitchen for longer stays, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The only downside is that they have breakfast that ends at 9:00 am. Traditionally most breakfasts continue to at least 10:00 am and I went in at 9:05 and everything was wiped clean. No trace of a breakfast was held. When inquired with the front desk the lady was dismissive and said "yeah sorry breakfast is only till 9" Will I stay here again ? for the cleanliness and the room quality - Sure. For the service quality - Probably not.

Really unexpected stay. We weren’t expecting much but the staff at the hotel were all absolutely wonderful and so welcoming. The breakfast was good every day, a nice variety especially for kids. Comfortable and clean for the price. Furniture in the living area definitely worn. Arrived at breakfast 15 minutes before they closed and had to ask for eggs, potatoes and coffee as they were out of all of them.
