Positives: Property and room clean, beds were comfortable, room had plenty of extras. Beds were very comfortable. Location was convenient and easy to find. Parking was plentiful and safe. The buffet breakfast was clean, delicious, and filled to max. 24/7 coffee in lobby was delicious and very convenient. Staff were helpful and friendly. Negatives: Elevator was out of service all 3 days we were there. That was disappointing. Our room had old blinds and no curtains of any kind which allowed daylight in. The bathroom was clean but outdated.

The elevator doesn't work. At all. It's a hotel with 3 floors, and all luggage, meals, wheelchairs, even service bins used by the hotel staff has to be carted up and down 3 flights of stairs. Some notice about this should be provided before arrival. It's just a basic expectation that there will be a working elevator at any large chain U.S. hotel in operation in 2023. That's more than just a simple inconvenience. Staff was polite, but not particularly energetic or helpful without being promoted multiple times to assist or resolve issues. The property actually seemed under staffed. There is an outdoor pool, but it was visibly dirty and in need of cleaning. It was absolutely unusable until after several very direct requests to staff to clean it. That's just not okay. Guests should not have to beg the staff to clean the pool in order to safely use it. The room was decent, but noisy with hotel mechanical sounds at night. There weren't enough towels in the room upon check in. One hand towel, two wash clothes, and 3 bath towels for a room that sleeps four people. Had to go get more and lug them up the stairs, since there was no option to ask staff to bring additional towels to the room. No in-room information at all about amenities at or near the property. Free wifi required a Hilton Honors membership. Breakfast was decent. Nice seating area. Not a lot of food options in the immediate area around the hotel. Door dash took over an hour. I would not choose to stay here again.

This property is a decent location near Princeton and only about 40 minutes to six flags and an hour from the shore. We stayed here on a road trip and upon check in the stay was extremely nice. The hotel room was clean but there was a horrible odor on the third floor that was masked with cologne. They need to use bleach or something to make these rooms smell fresh! Stains on the sheets are also unacceptable. Someone also entered our room with the do not disturb sign on and turned down the thermostat. Pretty crazy… Pool was out all weekend during July 17th-19th.

Room 208 was handicapped. Shades in room did not work. Shower head situated in middle of shower on side wall, thus spraying directly out into the bathroom. The whole floor of the bathroom was absolutely soaked, even though there was a drain in the middle of the bathroom. Had to use multiple towels to stop everything up before I could dry my hair. Didn’t want to stand in puddles while using hairdryer

Our double queen room was very spacious, it was right on US 1 so it was noisy with traffic. Nice space in the lobby for family to enjoy pizza at night with access to plates and utensils. Breakfast had many options, the kids loved the variety of make it yourself waffles. Eggs and meats were just ok. Very reasonably priced rooms for Princeton area. We’ll stay again next time we are in the area.

The property was grossly overbooked. I had a pre-paid confirmed reservation for Oct 8, and when I arrived there was no room. I was not the only one because there was a line out the front door with people experiencing the same issue. I had to sleep in my vehicle in the parking lot. There was no attemp to "walk" the hotel guests to another hotel. The staff showed extreme indifference to everyone\'s plight. I am never staying at a Hilton facility again. I am also filing a complaint with the NJ Attorney General.

Check in was for 3 pm. Customer service rep stated that rooms are not ready and need 45 min to an hour. After waiting they gave us 2 room on separate floors and when we said why this nwing is done , more excuses. Not sure supervisor comes in stated let me look , in the meantime other family comes in and were having issues and then we stood there while they forget about us and qe have to again remind them whats happening and they gave us 2 room to our famil away from each other. Bathroom doors were not working. Front service needs to be worked on. Customer service not once apologized. Very nad experience, do not want to stay there ever.

I booked through a 3rd party, and already prepaid for the room. Upon check in, the man at the front desk apparently accidentally charged me for a second time for the room or a $128. He said it was pending, and he cancelled it and it would clear in a day or two. Well, it didn’t. It charged me for the room, and I have even calling every day since and they keep telling me to call back to get my refund when the “manager is in.” This place isn’t Hilton quality. Steer clear.

Booked through Expedia for my family trip. They overbooked, and my family was not able to stay at the hotel due to overbook. The staff was well-mannered. However, the manager came 20 minutes later and was not professional. No apologies from him, was just told to book other hotel. Giving 1 star for unprofessional manner from the manager.

The staff helps make this hotel like home away from home for me. Naveen at the front desk is a breath of fresh air and is always so extremely kind to everyone and I just can't imagine staying in other hotels. I am always heartbroken if I can't get into the hotel during busy times.

This is our go-to hotel for staying near Princeton. Great value for the location; 5-minute drive into Princeton for walking (great campus architecture), shopping, dining. This was the time our room faced the highway, so there was some morning road noise and next time I'll request one of the side rooms (like we had on all previous stays).

The hotel itself was fine and updated. The staff were welcoming and helpful. As a person traveling for business, I was disappointed that there were no facilities (restaurants, shopping) nearby. To be fair, it's NJ where you can't turn left, so if you want to drive, you can go 5 miles down the road to plenty of shopping and food options, but you have to drive 5 miles back. There is very limited space to walk (except around the parking lot). My room was quiet even though next to a very busy road. However, the electric shades did not work, so I had bright lights shining in my room all night. I let the clerk know the next morning and she was apologetic. Overall, it is a fine place to sleep and have breakfast. But it's not good for a long term stay.

We chose this property due to it's location on our 2 day drive from New England to Washington, DC. We were moving our kid to college and driving a fully loaded 15' U-Haul. The staff at this Hampton Inn found a parking space in their lot that was under their surveillance cameras so we did not have to worry about our cargo overnight. The downtown of Princeton was a short Uber ride away (and we had a lovely dinner in town) and then we relaxed in the small pool back at the hotel. The only things that could be better: 1. there was some smell of smoking inside the hotel's 3rd floor hallway, but it was temporary 2. the bathroom in our room was adequate but a bit small PROS: Our room was dead quiet, the layout of the double queen bad was perfect for us and our young adult kid, and the entire hotel has clearly been renovated fairly recently. Everything in our room and in the property in general was in excellent shape and clean. But the staff and location made this a perfect overnight stop for us on our journey. I would stay at this location again even if we didn't need to do the drive down to DC in 2 days as it was a nice break after dealing with traffic on 95 through CT and NY. Thank you especially to Tim, the front desk staff who helped us find a great overnight parking spot for our U-Haul. And thank you to the cooks who made a very nice breakfast. I recommend staying here.

Breakfast buffet wasn’t labeled. I ended up eating the egg omelette, not knowing it had pork in it. I can’t eat pork due to religious reasons. Informed the manager on site that morning and she didn’t seem to care. Only said that she can have someone remake it without pork. Didn’t acknowledge the labeling issue.
