Staying at Avid was good. The bathroom was very clean and modern. They provided a lot of cloths and towels (even though they weren't absorbent). Everything was in working order except the one ice machine in the hotel. The whole place had a neat, modern decor which was a nice concept for a hotel so close to an Amish community. The first room I got had an odor, so I asked to change it. The rep at the front desk made it easy for me to do. Every worker was friendly. They had free coffee/tea and a microwave in the lobby 24 hrs. The location was close to restaurants, shopping and local attractions. From the 4th Fl, I could hear traffic along the road, but it didn't bother me. The complimentary breakfast was 'better than nothing'. I felt safe there as an older, female traveling solo. Overall, the clean, modern bathroom and location made it work for me. There were no 'extras' but it was efficient.

Breakfast was decent but it was the same breakfast everyday. It seem like the hotel was trying to be cheap by serving bacon crumbles instead of strips of bacon. No microwave in the room had to come in the lobby to warm food up.
