It’s a really nice hotel with a neat scheme. The pool is very spacious with both indoor and outdoor options along with a splash pad for smaller kids.

After reading some reviews I was a little nervous. But this place was great! We didn’t get to use the splash pad unfortunately because the days we were there were cold and rainy but thank goodness they had an indoor pool. It’s not a big pool but it did the job. Just try to go when it’s not super packed. There’s a hot tub and theres a little tub which I can only assume is for toddlers because it’s too shallow to be a hot tub. The rooms were clean, the only the thing was probably a little mildew in the shower. Nothing CRAZY. Maybe we just got a good room? I don’t know. But I dont think it deserves all the slack it gets. The activities for the kids were cute. Breakfast at the all you can eat was sub par but honestly, we went for convenience. There’s a TON of restaurants and fast food close by so I can’t complain. There’s a small arcade inside and fire pits outside. All the fire pits were out of gas our first night but they filled them the second night.they did nothing when we asked to refill them the first night but whatever

Overall we had a good experience staying at the hotel, the inside pool needs some work it was dirty, is too small for a lot o people.

Great for kids, beds were comfortable, but the pool was closed on our first day without notice due to staff shortages.

The pool ran out of towels for hours both days I stood here. Concession stand by outdoor pool was closed both days also.

Love the hotel. Great place for kids. Lifeguards are amazing and on top of everything Lots of bugs floating in pool. Only beer served.. Used to have bar and outside food options. Pool could open earlier with slide.

The indoor pool is in a building by it self. The main check in building with all the activities is separated from the rooms. There is no elevator and lots of bugs at night.

The kids loved their experience at the Cartoon Network Hotel! The outdoor pool was nice and the lifeguards were amazing and friendly! Breakfast was fun and the boys were so excited to meet the characters! The sale at the gift shop was also a plus. 10/10

If you love Cartoon Network, this is your place! Would i go on a busy day like Thurs-Saturday? No, but weekdays plus Sundays are great! This is my second visit and i had just as much fun as the 1st! Pros- -Fun Daily Activities (mostly kid stuff, but theyre so much fun for us adults that grew up with Cartoon Network) -Character meets for breakfast and throughout the day (different every time) -Cute little pajama dance party -Movie nights! (Ben 10 when i went) -Awesome themed rooms (Pillows, Bedding, Wall Art, Colors themed to Different series) -Cafe is ADORABLE! Coffee was alright! -Breakfast was basic but not bad for the price given that mcdonalds is like $12 for a breakfast meall. Buffet was $15 for adults. Cons- -It really is just a well decorated Motel so dont expect some fancy hotel! -Sink plug was broken, wouldnt drain -Pool closes too early (8?) -Indoor/Outdoor pools open at different times Honestly, id stay there again! I loved my stay and dint have any REAL complaints. They use local coffee K-Cups! I love that they have daily events now, last visit there was nothing to do on week days. (Maybe a summer thing) The shop was 50% off everything so i got to get a handful of super cute shirts and stickers! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

The rooms were not super clean shower fooors were dirty walls were very dusty & the beds are very uncomfortable and small for the price they charge they could do way better in my option

Room was disgusting, hair found in shower, stains in blankets and sheets. Room was filled with gnats. We booked for 2 nights, left following check in. Drain backed up in shower. Check in supposed to be a 4, room wasn’t ready until 5:30. The staff was friendly and helpful, however it seems they are severely understaffed. The person running indoor coffee shop was also in charge of the poolside food cart, which never opened. The website advertised gluten free food options, however, nobody was able to tell us what those options were and the menus provided did not have anything gluten-free listed. The location is decent with outlets across the street and Dutch Wonderland literally next-door .

KIDS ENDED UP WITH BED BUG BITES. They were nasty and took weeks to heal. Room was filthy, kids had goggles in the pool and said they could see stuff floating everywhere. Wall had different color paints trying to patch damage, bathroom door didnt close correctly. I should have READ other reviews. Called MOTEL about bed bugs got VM with no response. Please avoid.

There was mold in the shower & weird smell in room. Did not feel comfortable.

I will never go here again. I got all checked in then went to crawl in bed and there was literal poop stains on my fitted sheet. They were not hard water stains the difference was quite obvious. So i go to the front desk they give me a new room and a coupon for breakfast. Great, I am more than satisfied and very appreciative. I get to my room and check it out, no poop stains im thinking great! Then i lay down and realize my room is right under the/beside the stairs. ALL night long you could hear people tromping up and down the metal stairs. It was impossible to sleep. Then i go to get a shower in the morning, mold in the shower and questionable hairs on 2/3 towels left for customer use. Go to breakfast, there is no water in the water dispenser its compeletely empty, theres 3 pancakes, a handful of grapes, watery eggs and some meat choices. Meanwhile there is families coming in with kids to eat so who would want to get food when theres hungry kids there that im sure need it more. So needless to say breakfast was a bust and after a couple grapea i was on the way out and they tried to charge me for breakfast eventhough i gave them the coupon i got from the manager the night before before sitting down. I will never go here again and will not be recommending it to anyone who asks. This place had so much potential but it was downright disgusting.

Carpet wet, put white towels on it and they turned dark brown.

The rooms are horrible especially with hygiene. There’s a nasty smell and the carpet looked gross. The rooms are very small and the bathroom had spider web. I will never go back.

There were too many box bugs outside and inside the room; we found them on the bed, on the ceiling, everywhere.

Musty smell, sink/shower very slow to drain, bathroom floor gross. Friends had cockroaches in their room and had to leave. The Staff was very friendly and surface areas were clean.

There\'s no wow factor. The property is on a highway with exterior rooms and you have to go outside to get to the lobby or any other part of the "hotel", which makes this a glorified motel. Outside of character drawings on one wall and a couple of throw pillows, it is NOT a themed room. Outside of colorful, walls, doors and decor nothing screams Cartoon Network. There\'s basic motel carpeting, bedding, furniture and linen. There was mold, water damage and a foul smell from the AC. The staff (front desk and management) have a real condescending attitude about any concerns or complaints. There\'s one community microwave so you\'re wanting in line or your family has to take turns to heat up a meal. The indoor pool is in a separate building as well. For my family, we weren\'t comfortable. After a long day in the park or just out enjoying Lancaster we should be able to undress, unwind and relax in the room we spent hundreds to stay in. We shouldn’t have to move around the "hotel" OUTSIDE to get the things we need to settle in for the night.

Room wasn't ready for 4pm check in. Was ready by 5pm. Stay was okay. Too crowed. Very outdated rooms. Needs a refresh.

Fun idea and my son liked it but probably not my favorite choice. Check in was weird as there is no typical front desk it’s more like you are checking out at a store. I didn’t realize from the pictures that this is more of a motel with outside doors than a hotel. Our room was clean, colorful & the bed was soft and comfy. The bathroom was super tiny & parking was tight but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Room was very small. Did not look like the pictures online. No microwave in room or lockbox. The website is deceiving, it does not tell guests that you have to walk outside to another building to access your room.

My husband, I and our two kids spent a night at the hotel. The overall design and theme was fun, and the kids enjoyed the pool, arcade, gift shop and breakfast at the restaurant. Our main complaint is that there is not enough privacy in the rooms since the drapes are solely decorative and the one rolling blind is not blackout thickness. So there was no way to block out morning sun and we were thinly veiled from people walking by our room. The hotel is basically a spruced up motel with gangway-style walkways. The bathroom was small and could use some maintenance such as caulking and touch up paint. We had a nice stay overall.

We were able to walk right across the parking lot to visit Dutch Wonderland and to a number of restaurants. It was a great stay

Next to Dutch Wonderland and across from the Outlet stores. Lots of places to eat close by. The hotel is more of a motel. Beds are firm. Old carpet in the rooms. The room has a fridge but no microwave in the room. Some of the wall outlets did not work. There was a small table to eat with no chairs.

Blinds on the rooms are transparent for some reason so you will need to attach a sheet from the bed in to the window in order to have any privacy. Shower is awkwardly designed as well, which makes you get soaked with either freezing or burning water to adjust it before you get in.

The hotel looked like an old motel painted to look nice. Overall it wasn't bad, but looked dated. Tried to check-in 15 minutes after check-in time but my room wasn't ready. There were 3 TVs in the room, one for each bunkbed and one for the regular bed. Only problem with that was all 3 remotes controlled all 3 TVs. So anytime one of the kids changed the channel on thier TV they changed all the TVs. Also i know its not thier fault but they really need a better entrance/exit as turning left out of the lot is a little treacherous. I would stay here again as the kids really liked it, but as a paying adult i would expect just a little bit more from a themed hotels.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We only stayed overnight but will definitely be back! The kids loved the room, activities, and amenities. The adults loved the staff and how friendly and accommodating they were.

I took my kids to Dutch wonderland for the day and we wanted to take advantage of the pool at Cartoon Network hotel. I called the property directly and spoke with a woman at the front desk. She confirmed my reservation and room type and told me my room was ready early. I drove over and was immediately told my room is not ready. I would not have left the amusement park if I knew the room was unavailable. They told me they never guarantee early check in however I confirmed with an agent the room was ready. There was another woman checking in who encounter the same issues as I did. She was told her room was ready but it is not. The front desk agents told me that I probably called reservations. I dialed the number again and watched as an agent at the desk picked up my call. They told me I have to wait until 4 PM for check in. There’s no where to store luggage if you arrive early. Me and my exhausted kids had to wait in the cafe instead. The cafe does not have any actual food and the restaurant doesn’t open until 5 PM. When we did visit the restaurant they were out of pizza, pasta, and so many more items. Upon waking up in the morining we also discovered flying bugs all in the window and on the bed. I would not recommend this hotel to a single person. They are understaffed, uninformed and undertrained. They only offered excuses and did not take accountability for misinforming guests.

The room was to be ready at 4pm. We arrived and were told it would be another hour and they would let us know. We were not told and had to go back to the desk again after an hour. We were told the blind is broken and it had to stay closed. Not a good impression. Should have given a discount for the inconvenience.

Terrible from the very beginning. Staff was not very friendly. We were never welcomed nor thanked for staying there. Instead of having common customer service, the girl checking us in asked “NAME?!” We rudely got handed directions to our room with no explanation and was told to “put these wristbands on or get kicked out.” Finally found our room. (Unsure if this is a “revamped” Motel 6 or what but it’s sort of run down in certain spots; stairs are rusted and paint is chipping off, parking lot could use a good paving.) There is no elevator so keep that in mind when hauling all your luggage. Stuck our key card up to the door and nothing. The light turned green but the lock wouldn’t work. I called the front desk, was put on hold as soon as they answered, then when she picked back up, she said “What did you want?” After explaining the situation, she said, “oh yeah, when it gets cold out, the locks don’t work.” I was never offered an upgrade for the inconvenience. I was actually offered a downgrade to a queen room (booked a king). Then I was told maintenance might or might not even get to it tonight. Who’s to say once they got it fixed that it would even work right in the event of an emergency? I asked to speak to a manager and was told there wasn’t one on duty. A Friday night at a hotel with a store and restaurant and there’s nobody in charge? o_O Extremely disappointed in this experience as we have NEVER encountered a problem like this since using Hotels.com for YEARS.

Had to wait 2 hours to check in and also they where Short staffed and ran out of linen , we all slept without blankets

Stuff whom i was dealing not welcoming at all. At the time of checking he never said any Hello neither talked to me nicely and told me rudley can you stand far way not to closely! Also ask for my credit card which is common but never informed me for $50hold. This property is some what like any other motel type but with good painting and a lot of extra charges . Indoor pool was very crowdy, loud and dirty. However, Caffe stuff was really really nice. If u do not want to visit Adventure land not recommed to stay on this hotel.

The Cartoon Network Hotel has been on my son’s bucket list for quite some time, and I’m so glad we finally had the chance to visit! Despite arriving during a rainy week, the hotel more than made up for the weather with plenty of on-site activities and nearby entertainment options to keep us busy. The indoor pool was a hit, and the variety of kid-friendly attractions made it easy to enjoy our stay without ever needing to leave the property. The staff was friendly, helpful, and always made us feel welcome. The entire hotel was impressively clean, modern, and well-maintained. Dining was also a pleasant surprise—affordable prices and good food made meals easy and enjoyable. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for families, especially those with kids who love Cartoon Network characters. It’s a fun, themed experience that delivers both comfort and entertainment!

Kid friendly lobby the kids loved & excellent location including next to Dutch Wonderland along with VIP tickets might mean I may come back here in the future.

Our stay was incredible, my 10 year old son had a blast. He enjoyed the pool play area, taking pictures with all the characters, bingo and all the activities. Staff was great. Also a plus, it’s walking distance to Dutch Wonderland.

Property was great room was decent. The bathroom needs a lot more attention wasn’t clean and had mold in the shower area. The charge $15 for breakfast which starts at 8:30 we got there around 8:45 and half the stuff was empty eggs were cold coffee mugs were dirty with lipstick marks of them.

The entrance was clean and cute. The front desk staff was welcomung but they didnt explain the parking. I was very disappointed in the food that was avaialable. The kitchen was not open for dinner and the dishes were not cleaned very well. The pool area was nice and clean but the concession stand was not open. They also had some fun activities for the kids to do such as a dance party, trivia, and movie night. The arcade was a rip off! It did not calculate the correct amount of tickets.

The pool was excellent. Bathrooms need a fan. Buffet breakfast could be better. Characters and activities at the hotel were great!

We stayed here for a weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. I do agree with some other reviews that the rate per night is a bit high in comparison to other hotels in the area because it does give more of a motel vibe. But if you have children and you’re planning to visit Dutch Wonderland, the pros out weigh that one con. The food was actually pretty good for what it was. The pools were clean. The staff was AMAZING and the characters were cute. Also the Dutch Wonderland perks you receive are great too! We’d def stay here again

Need to update web about dining you book cause they offer restaurant food and bar, they always close you end up having to order food outside and bar?? All they have is beer they dont think about ladies.

The restaurant doesnt have a big selection and is expensive.

Breakfast Buffett was terrible. Waiting forever for someone to seat us. Waited forever clean plates. The food was cold.

Overall, this hotel was very clean and an awesome theme. There was a nice little indoor pool, the outdoor pool looked really cool, a little shop and a little arcade. It was very disappointed, though in the restaurant itself. The menu was extremely limited, it took forever to get our food, even though we were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Otherwise. Everything about this hotel was really nice. Even the location was very convenient.

The hotel is a great option if you are going to Dutch Wonderland for a day or two. We stayed for 2 nights with two kids (2 and 4 years old). We had plenty to do at the lobby- which included kids scheduled activities and arcade room. The rooms are all kids friendly with fun characters on the wall. The only dissapointment was the breakfadt buffet. The restaurant had sticky floors and chairs. The food was all frozen and just heated- no taste at all. The staff in the buffet was not friendly at all, do we just had breakfast else where on our second day. Plenty of other options close by. And Dutch Wonderland is a must visit for small kids like ours! Overall we are happy and would come back!

Our room was clean . The hotel was clean. Bingo in the cafe was a lot of fun for the kids . Took pictures with characters. Made book marks and potions . We decided to eat breakfast buffet and although the food was good the cleanliness and attentiveness of the staff was low. But overall the visit was good .
