Nice and relaxing stay. The front desk service, depending on the staff, was varied. Noah is wonderful. Nick, not as friendly. Others are great. Enjoyed the orange infused water at the reception. The outdoor fire pit is very nice as well. Most importantly - a direct entrance to adjacent Starbucks in the morning!! Yay.

The hotel is a nice stay about 12 minutes from the Alewife stop. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable. I liked the bike option though I did not know about it until check out. The garden area was a pleasant spot for an evening drink.

The trendy warehouse sort of vibe was a nice departure from the typical suburban hotel. The staff, cleanliness, and room were all great. I enjoyed having an onsite restaurant and the ability to park overnight. The gym was nicely appointed. My only wish was that the room had a microwave. I plan on staying here again next time I come to Cambridge/Harvard.

The atmosphere is odd. The room was great. The check-in area is strange and one is required to spend $25/day at the hotel or be charged the service fee regardless. People who work there are nice and good at their jobs.

Location: Great for our purposes. The outside grounds of the hotel could use some work. There is a Starbuck's on site for those who need that and it seemed to get good business. It also has shopping, food and a drug store within walking distance. Service: Top notch! Trsi made us feel so welcome, even at 2 AM and Robin did her best to deal with a food delivery that had not yet come and make breakfast offerings slim. We felt very cared for by everyone we spoke with during our stay. Price: A bit higher than other places, but the location is everything! And so close to the T that you can easily go to downtown Boston and the many universities in the area with ease. Our room was beautifully appointed and comfortable. We will definitely return if in the area again.

The hotel is great. It is set up to be convenient for the guest. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The gym is great and clean. Breakfast was really good! Parking is really smooth. The hotel is just kind of located in a weird place is all. But if you are driving, it’s easy.

9/10 The location was just a bit weird but its mass. The staff was great and helpful, loved the online check in and digital key. Price was good. Rooms were very clean. My favorite part of any hotel is always the type of shower they have. This one had a rain fall shower and i loved it. Bar and restaurant on site, plaza next door and Starbucks on site.

I was very disappointed with our room and have cleaner hotel rooms in smaller hotels like Best western and Holiday inn. Upon using the bathroom, there was hair on the floor that was not ours. I also noted that the floor was still dirty. When trying to call the front desk, the phone didn't work. So I had to walk downstairs to tell the front desk. They did send someone to clean it but still wasn't very clean. We were so tired that I just wanted to shower and get my toddler to bed since it was already 9 am. In the morning I noticed way more things that were dirty and sub par for being a "Hilton". There were drip lines down the wall, the corner of the floor by the tub was dirty, there was food under the nightstand (metal wire) that was not ours, the cabinet had food streaked on it, not enough towels, etc. When we checked in, they told us breakfast was included and the times. Well, we sat down for a very mediocre breakfast (Best Western has a better breakfast and more options for the price) and was hit with a $50 bill. When I asked the front desk about it the lady tried to tell me that she checked me in and that she did not tell me that. I was able to describe the lady and supposedly she is the manager, so she "also definitely would not have told me that either". I told her that I was very unhappy between this and our room. She proceeded to tell me they fixed it, they didn't. Then lectured me for not calling them and I reminded her the phone was broken. Was very disappointing

This place is overpriced for what it is. There is a saying in construction when you try to update something poor a quick fix, it's called putting lipstick on a pig. This place made me think of it. The furniture in the hotel rooms, and lobby are so stained. The carpets feel dirty and worn out. Some pieces of furniture are so dinged up that they look like they are second hand. The linens and bathrooms were clean but just kinda gross at the same time. It's expensive for what it is, plus they charge for parking and breakfast. This place was a fine place to crash for one night going thru town but I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel is really clean and around a very convenient (with a T station < 5 min walking distance) and safe area. We had no problem visiting friends around Alewife and walking back home at 1AM. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable.

This was the absolute worst hotel stay we have ever had. Our room wasn’t very clean and the bathroom had hair all over it. They have hidden fees even though we booked through Hotels.com they charged us more than the $50 we were advised we owed. Brianna the front desk person through text discussed our displeasure of the condition of our room and said she would waive the 2 night parking fee. Well the next morning at check out I’m looking over our bill and see the charge for $65.11. This is for parking and the $25 resort fee/breakfast. I said you told us you would be waiving that fee for parking she starts arguing she did, but of course she did not. There was only the cash back for eating breakfast one day and one parking. She is a liar and very rude, she refused to finish checking us out and pushed us aside to help people behind us and said they needed to go. Well we also need this resolved and needed to go. She lied and said she couldn’t reverse charges when in fact she could. Brianna finally finished a few other people and I said we need to go and very snotty she said she reversed the charges and gave us a credit, well guess what SHE CHARGED MY CARD $65.11!!! I expected better from a Hilton hotel.

The air conditioning was very noisy. The bathroom was poorly designed: one has overact behind a metal pole for the toilet paper. A repair around the bathtub faucet was badly done, leaving rusty marks on the plaster. Overall, very disappointing, Not even as nice as a Holiday Inn. Cheap, ugly carpeting in the hallway. When we arrived Friday evening and asked the young woman who checked us in for a nice restaurant recommendation, she suggested Chipotle or a takeout, not having any decent restaurants to suggest. We discovered some on our own. The hotel had zero class. The common areas were kind of dumpy looking. The only good thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable.

The staff was really snarky to both my party and I saw the front desk manager get into a yelling altercation with another guest as well. People from hotel staff unlocked/opened my room door several times (not checkout or housekeeping times) Property charges were not as described and they wanted to charge several hundred dollars more than the reserved price. I ended up staying for one night because I had just come in off the flight but had to book elsewhere for the 2nd night of my stay. This was the worst stay I’ve ever had at a Hilton.

This is an affordable spot for Cambridge, with pluses and minuese. The Alewife T is a 15 minute walk away, so if you are staying in Cambridge when the weather is nice, you have decent access to public transportation. The 74/78 bus has a stop nearby as well. It is not in the most walkable part of Cambridge. We had issues each of the two nights we stayed there with excessive noise. The walls/ceilings are far from sound-proof, and on the first night, we were just above the lobby, and it did not get quiet until 3 am. Until that point we heard banging and noisy doors for hours past when we wanted to go to sleep. We moved to the 3rd floor on the second night, but we were in a room near the traffic circle, and we got a lot of street noise (5 am delivery truck noises). We also had a very noisy upstairs neighbor. The breakfast was expensive and not very good, but being attached to a Starbucks was an advantage. Parking was very convenient and affordable ($25 a night), so it was nice to have easy access to your car.

Very comfortable room, good breakfast, attentive staff. Receptionist Acacia was fantastic! She leaves a very positive impression from the moment you talk to her at check-in. Acacia speaks several languages and is a great asset for the hotel! I’m looking forward to returning to the Freepoint next year for the next congress.

For the most part I had a good experience. Noah checked me in and was very friendly and helpful; another woman at the desk on the same days was similarly good, as was a woman who worked in the restaurant. So my first impressions were quite good. My last night, however, I asked a different woman at the desk if she'd mind ordering me a taxi for early the next morning, and she seemed both disinterested in the request and disinclined to fulfill it, but I trusted that she was a professional and that there wouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately, there was no taxi at 5 the next morning and no evidence that she'd even called, and the man at the front desk seemed equally disinterested in helping, only grudgingly ordering a cab fifteen minutes after my planned departure time, which took another fifteen minutes to arrive. I almost missed my flight as a result of the extra delay. The property itself is nice and some of the staff are friendly and helpful, but others, not so much.

I stayed at the Freepoint Hotel for the second time this past week, this time I stayed for 8 days. The people who work there are first and foremost, amazing! Very professional, and they provided exceptional customer service during my stay. Everyone at the front desk, the bar, cleaning staff and management were beyond wonderful to interact with. They were always available to assist in any capacity and they made the process seamless. They truly made me feel at home and not only a valued customer but also like a friend by creating a warm, friendly, homely and comfortable environment. Thank you to all of the staff and management; Noah, Chantal, Monty, Troy, Caesar, John and Justin! Keep up the outstanding work!

While the lobby area is pleasant, the rooms are fairly pedestrian for the price - high, given it was reunion week, it’s true! I would not stay there again if given the choice given (1) how far it is from Harvard Square - too far to walk (2) a bit of walk to transportation, and (3) very limited transport options provided by the hotel even though it was apparently one of the “official” hotels for reunion. I was particularly irritated that they charged $20 a night just to park in their outdoor parking lot right in front of the hotel.

This hotel does not look like the photos online. It is in a loud neighborhood on a major road surrounded by strip malls. No visible green space near it. Only restaurants within close walking distance are fast food. The restaurant inside is not really open, and the breakfast looked inedible besides coffee, cereal and apples. Three police officers were dealing with an altercation in lobby when I left. One good thing - the bed was firm and comfortable!

We stayed at the Freepoint Hotel for some sports camps at Tufts and Harvard. The location is great with short, easy drives to both schools. The hotel is near a lot of great restaurants and there is a 2.25 - 2.50 mile running trail across the street which is great for anyone looking to exercise during their stay. Finally, there is a whole foods within walking distance for any grocery needs. We would definitely stay here again.

Although it looks a bit dated (doors, walls, popcorn ceiling), the hotel is very clean. Nice toiletries in the bathroom. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. 25 $ parking fee was a surprise but nothing out of the ordinary in a city. Nice location for the hotel. There is a lake nearby with walking paths. Dunkin Donuts is right around the corner. I would most definitely stay there again and recommend this place to friends and family.

Room service, theoretically anywsy. Tmi was told that they offered room service every other day. I checked in Wednesday; by friday i asked for new towels and more water. Saturday i asked then to empty the trash. I never got room service per se!!! Restaurant was awful. Thsnk goodness for the attached Starbucks.

Front desk staff were wonderful and very friendly. The breakfast that was offered was not good at all. And you had to pay $20 per person. It was cold and bread was stale. That was the only bad part of the stay. There is a Dunkin Donuts a block away that we ended up going to.

The property didn’t have this on file and even though I showed them the receipt for the purchase, they wouldn’t accept it. Spent one night in a room on first floor with king bed. Was comfortable, clean and quiet. We were too tired to go to the bar or get back into car to find a restaurant. We walked to mall next to hotel and got takeout food from Whole Foods. Breakfast at motel was a typical serve yourself buffet that should have been free with the room. It was not worth the cost. Next time we will go to the Starbucks next door.

This hotel has so many things going for it in the rooms and the reception. I had a drink in the bar by the firepit with friends and it was perfect for that. But it seems like it would be easy to offer breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos, Austin-style, maybe in addition to what's already at Breakfast, which wasn't as special and convenient as the hotel.

The rooms had no body wash. The mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. The air conditioner made so much noise I could t sleep. The breakfast was inedible. Overcooked eggs. They ran out of healthy yogurt and no bananas.
