Une chambre spacieuse et propre. L’hôte était aimable, nous avait aidé à annuler un vol et nous donner des renseignements intéressants sur la ville. L’hôtel est aussi proche de la place touristique sans être bruyant. Il donne sur une rue très calme. Seul hic est quand tu fais monter ou descendre les valises car pas d’ascenseur

Great place and everyone was so nice. The hotel is a lovely place right at the center of the old city thus close to all major place worth visiting.we had a lovely room at the top with a view on the city partial sea view. Breakfast was nice. And they will organise transport to airport with very reasonable rates.

I stayed in the room with the terrace on the top floor for 7 nights. It's an interesting hotel with a lot of character. Pros: view of blue mosque from the terrace at night is mystical, the hostess is amazing at directing everyone to really interesting adventures and giving you some sense of the grandeur of Istanbul, the location is just enough out of the tourist flow to feel interesting but still close to the main tourist attractions. Cons: a few maintenance flaws in the bathroom, some of the stuff is a bit old, walking up the hill to the metro stop was fun at first but got old after 7 days of it. Overall I recommend it, you get a taste of old Istanbul while still being right next to the big tourist attractions. The little flaws appeared as charming.

C'est un hôtel familiale. Excellent accueil de la propriétaire et de son fils. Toujours disponible et agréable. Comme à la maison. L'hôtel est bien placé et nombreuses visites à pied. A 10 mn du Tramway. Chambre bien propre et ménage fait chaque jour. WC dans la salle de bain très petite. Le plus important, il y a la climatisation et un petit frigidaire.

Danke an Gonul für den netten Aufenthalt, die interessanten Gespräche und die vielen Tips rund um die Gegend. Wir waren 6 Nächte dort. Gut mit zwei Kindern, daß es zwei Zimmer gibt. Alles ist sauber und wird täglich gereinigt. Der Flughafentransfer, durch Gonul organisiert, hat wunderbar geklappt. Es ist kaum Verkehr in der Straße. Nebenan ist ein Restaurant, man hört leise die Musik bei offenen Fenstern, aber nicht bis spät in die Nacht. Mini Markt mit leckerem Brot auch nebenan. Zur Tram muß man ca. 10min bergauf laufen, auch zur blauen Moschee oder zur Hagia Sofia.

Secondo me, nonostante la gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff e della proprietaria, purtroppo questo hotel che assomiglia più a un bed and breakfast, non merita il punteggio alto che ha. La camera nella quale ho soggiornato era trascurata: un solo comodino per un letto matrimoniale, una sola lampada per leggere, le prese divelte dal muro, la tanto decantata pulizia non c'è (e mi rammarico soprattutto perché siamo ancora in tempo di covid). Per non parlare del bagno, vera nota dolente: sporco antecedente (basta davvero una passata di candeggina a volte) e la pulizia non veniva effettuata giornalmente considerato poi che eravamo in tre ad utilizzarlo. La prima colazione sicuramente potrebbe essere migliorata ma sufficiente. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non significa che non ci debba essere pulizia. Peccato.

Temizlik yönünden eksikti. Geldiğimizde Oda hazır değildi ve odada içecek su ya da başka bir şey bırakılmıyor. Sadece uygun ve sultanahmet'e yakın olması yönüyle iyi.

Nice and affordable hotel in a great location. Owner and staff are very helpful and friendly. Large room and quite location( except for the morning prayer call from the mosque which are everywhere).

A warm welcome awaits you at Ahmet efendi evi .. the hosts are lovely and freindly and happy to help you in any way they can ..we had the family room which has a living room area and separate bedroom which was great as we were staying 11 nights. Breakfast and fresh coffee was made for us each morning and gave us a good start to the day . The location is great in a quite area within walking distance of the blue mosque and the grand bazaar and walking distance to the hook up to the local transport system , trams, trains,buses,underground and boats. Plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby. Or if you want a delivery the hosts will happily order in for you . This is not a posh hotel its a home from home freindly clean comfortable quiet place that you can feel at ease in . A great base for your adventures in istanbul. Will definitely come back here . Thanks for having us we loved it 💞

Our stay at Ahmet Efendi Evi was wonderful. The hosts are very friendly and gave us good advice throughout our stay. The location was ideal for visiting Istanbul's main attractions on foot. The room was comfortable and the location is very quiet. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay.

A fantastic gem. A sweet small boutique hotel with an expert host. Wonderful hidden location with close access to the blue mosque and all the sites. Beautiful spot with flowers and lovely restaurants next door. We are from the US and needed a Covid test to get home, the hotel called and had a nurse come and do the test for $10, it made everything so easy. Our family will be back soon, it was a wonderful place.

Danke an Gonul für den netten Aufenthalt, die interessanten Gespräche und die vielen Tips rund um die Gegend. Wir waren 6 Nächte dort. Gut mit zwei Kindern, daß es zwei Zimmer gibt. Alles ist sauber und wird täglich gereinigt. Der Flughafentransfer, durch Gonul organisiert, hat wunderbar geklappt. Es ist kaum Verkehr in der Straße. Nebenan ist ein Restaurant, man hört leise die Musik bei offenen Fenstern, aber nicht bis spät in die Nacht. Mini Markt mit leckerem Brot auch nebenan. Zur Tram muß man ca. 10min bergauf laufen, auch zur blauen Moschee oder zur Hagia Sofia.

Great place and everyone was so nice. The hotel is a lovely place right at the center of the old city thus close to all major place worth visiting.we had a lovely room at the top with a view on the city partial sea view. Breakfast was nice. And they will organise transport to airport with very reasonable rates.

Our stay at Ahmet Efendi Evi was wonderful. The hosts are very friendly and gave us good advice throughout our stay. The location was ideal for visiting Istanbul's main attractions on foot. The room was comfortable and the location is very quiet. Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay.

I stayed in the room with the terrace on the top floor for 7 nights. It's an interesting hotel with a lot of character. Pros: view of blue mosque from the terrace at night is mystical, the hostess is amazing at directing everyone to really interesting adventures and giving you some sense of the grandeur of Istanbul, the location is just enough out of the tourist flow to feel interesting but still close to the main tourist attractions. Cons: a few maintenance flaws in the bathroom, some of the stuff is a bit old, walking up the hill to the metro stop was fun at first but got old after 7 days of it. Overall I recommend it, you get a taste of old Istanbul while still being right next to the big tourist attractions. The little flaws appeared as charming.

Amazing stay at Ahmet Efendi Evi and will definitely come back. The Hotel is at walking distance from all the major touristic attractions despite being located in a quiet and very picturesque area. Secondo me, nonostante la gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff e della proprietaria, purtroppo questo hotel che assomiglia più a un bed and breakfast, non merita il punteggio alto che ha. La camera nella quale ho soggiornato era trascurata: un solo comodino per un letto matrimoniale, una sola lampada per leggere, le prese divelte dal muro, la tanto decantata pulizia non c'è (e mi rammarico soprattutto perché siamo ancora in tempo di covid). Per non parlare del bagno, vera nota dolente: sporco antecedente (basta davvero una passata di candeggina a volte) e la pulizia non veniva effettuata giornalmente considerato poi che eravamo in tre ad utilizzarlo. La prima colazione sicuramente potrebbe essere migliorata ma sufficiente. Il rapporto qualità prezzo non significa che non ci debba essere pulizia. Peccato.

A warm welcome awaits you at Ahmet efendi evi .. the hosts are lovely and freindly and happy to help you in any way they can ..we had the family room which has a living room area and separate bedroom which was great as we were staying 11 nights. Breakfast and fresh coffee was made for us each morning and gave us a good start to the day . The location is great in a quite area within walking distance of the blue mosque and the grand bazaar and walking distance to the hook up to the local transport system , trams, trains,buses,underground and boats. Plenty of good shops and restaurants nearby. Or if you want a delivery the hosts will happily order in for you . This is not a posh hotel its a home from home freindly clean comfortable quiet place that you can feel at ease in . A great base for your adventures in istanbul. Will definitely come back here . Thanks for having us we loved it 💞

Absolutely fantastic location. 15 minutes walk to iconic sights (Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia, Topkapi, Cistern) and just a 10 minute walk to the Bosphorus. Gonul, the owner, is very helpful with advice and anything else I asked about and is a delight to chat with. Breakfast was substantial with a variety of food and freshly prepared coffee or tea. It was mainly cold items, breads, fruit, cheese, meats etc. but, each day there was a different hot item available. The room was comfortable and had AC and heating with remote control but, since I was there in early April, I did not need to use the unit and just opened or closed windows as needed. I did not turn on the TV so have no idea what channels were available. The one disappointing thing about the room was the bathroom. I had not noticed when I booked but there are no photos of the bathroom on the website. It is small and the shower is poor. The shower curtain did not reach down to the tray so, every time I showered, the bathroom floor would be covered with water. The water pressure was pathetic and the temperature fluctuated dramatically. However, since I shower in the morning and the room was serviced daily, this was just a minor inconvenience for a few minutes each day and did not really affect me. Visitors in hot weather or with a family may not feel the same. Overall, a fantastic stay that greatly benefited my enjoyment of Istanbul.
