What guests think

At Comfort Hotel, travelers often praise friendly staff and a solid free breakfast, while noting small, basic rooms with thin walls, paid on-site parking with limited spaces, and a pool that can feel cold or closes early.

Cleanliness gets many compliments but is inconsistent, with recurring missed spots and occasional mold, plus a few isolated bed bug reports. Several guests found mattresses tired, HVAC loud, and TV channel selection limited. The location is walkable to the Falls and Clifton Hill but not central, and the immediate area feels less appealing to some. Best for travelers who prioritize value over space and quiet.

GUESTS BEWARE!! If you leave your car in the parking lot WHICH YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR overnight even if your car is lock thieves will come steal all your valuables! Thé staff did nothing to secure the parking lot and the back security gate was left wide open. The staff even told me it’s not their responsibility to inform guests that the area is not safe and that they have junkies and thieves that steal from tourists cars almost every night. The only person who informed me of this was the police officer when I filed my report for my stolen stuff! DON’T EVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!

Two good things: Staff at front desk upon check in were very nice. The food in the breakfast buffet was pretty good. Now to the bad: Not enough on-site parking spots for everyone they sold parking to - which costs $20.Front desk lady on evening/night shift was terribly rude when we questioned the parking situation. Fire dept was called because one elevator got stuck. Not sure if there were people in it at the time. There are only two elevators, so it quickly became a problem. Polyester sheets on bed that were very uncomfortable. Mattress and pillows uncomfortable. At breakfast, a staff member cleared our table with our breakfast on it, and gave it to someone else....I could go on. I wouldn't stay here again.

The hotel was clean and well situated. However, our auto was broken into and almost all our belongings were stolen from the hotel parking lot. When I reported the theft, i was informed that there were no security cameras on the side lot. This is a huge deficiency on the part of the hotel. The police said if cameras were operational or in place, it could help find the thieves. Now we're left with much expense and inconvenience trying to replace all the stolen items.

Update windows- they are wet and moldy. The walls are very thin-you can hear everything-way more than any other hotel or motel I’ve stayed in. The floor (under bed) was dirty when we arrive- their was empty garbage wrappers and bottle caps) The sheets and towels need updated- there are holes in them. The breakfast was very well run and a good different amounts of foods for all to eat. The lemon water is a great option to have- I really appreciated it with my voice being gone. The staff are the best part. They were happy, kind and attentive. When I told them about the floor being dirty under the bed they sent someone up right away to clean it. The staff were hands down the best part of the hotel. They showed that they cared. The room is very small and the bathroom is odd shaped tub with quit large cracks and chips out of it.

They have bed bugs, dont stay there. Worst stay ever, 1st night, people in the connecting room curse all night, I got no sleep, they did accommodate by not booking anyone in the connecting room for the 2nd night. By the time I left the hotel I was so itching. Turn out it was bed bugs bits. So mad, im so itching and still in pain. I would not recommend staying at Comfort Hotel. I was there Oct. 15-17, 2025.

Our stay at this hotel was very disappointing. When we woke up, we discovered bed bugs in the room, which caused multiple bites and a painful allergic reaction, with severe inflammation especially on the face. Attempts to contact the manager by email didn’t work, leaving us with no support. This made our stay extremely uncomfortable and distressing.

Worst stay I have ever had It felt like this was a low-end motel Filthy blankets, sheets and towels had stains and marks and the bedroom was full of hair Whether if it was human or pet hair, it was alot of it Didn’t bother to ask for another room because most likely all rooms are alike Towels were small not ideal for an adult to use after a shower. The noise from outside was coming in like there was a sheet of paper in between not a proper wall When trying to check out, there was a sign that says be back in 5 minutes Two ladies were apparently having a breakfast, i understand people need break but there should’ve been at least one person at the front especially when it was around check out times 1 star is too high for this place

Not a great stay. The floors were visibly dirty, the room had a jail cell-like decor (no closet, bad paint job), there was mold in multiple places in the bathroom, a fruit fly infestation in the room, and the desk (where the coffee maker is also located) had no electrical outlet within 15 feet. The only positive is that the beds were comfortable. For the cost of the room, plus a resort fee and extra for parking, this hotel is absolutely not worth it.

The room is a little small for two queen beds, but it's clean, equipped with a TV, microwave, and complete toiletries. Staff are accommodating to our request. The air conditioning/heater is working well. I wish they would consider free parking for their guests. We paid $20 per night, plus tax, for parking. While other hotels are free of charge for parking. My stay was defined by a severe noise issue and a complete lack of customer care from the front desk. I had specifically requested a quiet room at check-in. Despite this, I was assigned a room which is directly next to the elevator. The problem wasn't just the elevator noise, but also design flaw: every time a neighbor opened or closed their door, it created a loud, jarring slam that shook the wall, making it impossible to sleep through the night. At night I couldn’t sleep and I went to the front desk to request a room change. The receptionist refused, stating they could not move me as no room leftHowever, a quick check online booking portal showed available rooms. When I pointed this out, the response was not an attempt to solve the problem after confirming their manager but to dismiss it. I was told that I was "the only client to ever complain about the noise." This is not a valid excuse; it is an admission that they were aware of the problem yet chose to assign the room to someone who had asked for quiet. The core of the failure is this: They had the means to help me (8 available rooms) but chose not to under their manager instruction. Instead, they prioritized keeping those rooms vacant for future bookings over the comfort of a current, suffering guest. A hotel's job is to provide rest and solve problems. This hotel failed on both counts. The noisy room was a mistake, but after they spoke with their manager, they still chose the refusal to fix it.
