The red flags were waving as soon as we showed up and there was nobody at the front counter. A line of people were forming and luckily one of us went to the bar to find an employee that eventually found someone to work the front desk. The room had numerous codes that need to be reported to the local code enforcement, the most alarming of which was the wire coming out of the AC unit was spliced with three wire nuts and electrical tape, then running into a hole in the wall. Some of the other highlights of the room were light switches being cracked, black mold in the corner, and a constant smell of weed. One of the most egregious moments was when we got back to our hotel after a day of exploring Buffalo to find water coming out of the refrigerator and none of the outlets working. I called the front desk and was told that they can't do anything about it, but will let the manager know so it can be resolved in the morning, and they wouldn't move us to another room because they were "fully booked". The manager didn't know about this when I told her in the morning, but went and flipped a breaker and I had power again in a matter of minutes... So went all night with no power, tv, anything. No recompensation or anything. Please stay away from this hotel, if not for the awful experience, at least because of the fire hazard in room 167 (maybe more) that could burn the whole building down. It is not worth your life.

Property looks great from outside. The breakfast area looks unique and different. Less breakfast options with no juice station. Room was little smelly. Carpet and walls need update. But most important the mattress and pillows were horrible and very uncomfortable. They really need to replace this asap. The only good thing was bathroom. It was updated. Overall it was okay but due to the mattress and pillow situation had very difficult time to get good night sleep.

First impression of hotel was one of some level of elegance that quickly dissipated as everything in the hotel was worn out from carpets to furniture to construction materials, and overall an unkempt appearance will not return here
