Stayed at the Ada apartments which was a short walk from the main hotel. Very spacious apartment and we enjoyed our stay. Walkable distance to the nearby tram station, grand bazar and other main attractions. Helped us in booking the airport transfer which was cheaper than Viator and GetYourGuide. Very helpful staff especially the amazing folks preparing the breakfast and doing the room service.

We had the apartment in a different building with a lovely sea view. The apartment is very clean and bright. Balcony is spacious. Double bed is very comfortable and wide. The breakfast room is top on a terrace which has a great view. The only downsides are some details missing. 1, the shower head is not working only the handle is available. We didn’t bother to ask to be fixed. 2. The seating furniture is quite uncomfortable on the balcony. 3. Some furnitures/ plugs are falling apart or nearly falling.

O apartamento que fiquei era e celebre, apesar de ser localizado em outro prédio; é uma quadra de distância da recepção mas deu certo. Funcionários muito atenciosos, tanto na recepção quanto as meninas do café da manhã; minha ressalva é somente em relação ao café da manhã; poucas opções no “buffet”, mas é tudo reposto rapidamente. Ada hotel is a hotel from a horror movie . I have never seen a worse hotel than this one . Crack on the walls , dirty windows , brown towels with holes . I had to find another hotel to stay . I cried when I saw it because it was awful . Please don’t book it , you will find much better hotels around . I am surprised with all good reviews this hotel received on expedia

Great hotel in the heart of old town Istanbul. All the touristic sites are walking distance but it's still reasonably quiet considering that you're in the Old Istanbul. Our room was perfectly clean, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the AC in our room and they upgraded us to another room within minutes!!! The breakfasts were excellent, all home cooked and the view over the Marmara sea from the dining area is amazing. For Istanbul it's the best price to quality ratio you can get!

We absolutely loved this hotel! One of the best accomodations experiences in our travel history. The apartment was great. Daily housekeeping service was exceptional. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was always delicious.This hotel was better than any of the hotels we've ever stayed at in the US. Highly recommend it! Five stars across the board in every category.

We had a small suite, which comprised a squashed in queen size in bedroom and a couch in adjacent small room, and a small bathroom. This was ideal for 2 people. We had a superb Bosphorus view. Breakfasts gave a massive selection af well prepared food for everyone's tastes. Staff were friendly, helpfull and hard working. Location for Blue Mosque, Sultenharmet area, was unbeatable. Even the tram stop was only a seven minute walk. For us 80 year olds it was all ideal. And the price was reasonable. Highly recommended.

The room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the Bosphorus, and the hotel itself was centrally located to restaurants and major sites. However, the main reason I chose this hotel was for the raving reviews of the breakfast on their terrace, and while the views were great, the options were extremely disappointing compared to other breakfasts we'd had in Turkey.

Overall great, clean, good breakfast, lovely staff,but worth mentioning that if you are a light sleeper then be cautious. There is a mosque right across the road and they issue a "call to prayer" just after 5 in the morning. This is VERY VERY loud and will almost wake you. Other than that it\'s a great hotel and area

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We had to switch hotels mid way through our stay in Sultanahmat. This hotel was really nice. Rooms were spacious. The attendants were very nice. The breakfast was very good. The terrace view and all room views of the water was very nice. Location was super convenient for everything near Sultanahmat. Would definitely come again.

We loved our stay at Ada Hotel and would definitely go back again. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to the historic city centre with only a short part of the walk uphill. The view is amazing from either the breakfast room or one of the rooms with a sea view - over a mosque and looking out at the Sea of Marmara with the ships there. We also really liked the hot tub in our room, very pleasant after a long day of walking with lots of hills. The Turkish style breakfast was also excellent. I just wish it had started earlier that 8 am, but there was enough time to eat and get out to the sites when they opened (the start of the morning is quieter for visiting almost everywhere). No stay is perfect, so for full disclosure I will note that the calls to prayer from the mosque beside the hotel can be very loud and one is in the middle of the night (we did sleep through it with earplugs). Also there were some ants that appeared in the room a day or two into our stay. I don't know how common this is in Istanbul. Overall, I would recommend it, and I'd go back. It's worth paying for one of rooms with a sea view.

We got a really nice room (501) on the top floor. View of water, mosque, and minaret were beautiful. Don't be confused, like I was, it is not a Blue Mosque, but some other one. Regardless, view is beautiful. Our room was right next to breakfast restaurant, but morning noise was not bothersome. Room was not big but clean, and convenient. It worked for 2 of us. Bathroom was small, but everything worked well and in good condition. Shower stall had a multiple water spray configurations, which was pleasant surprise. Breakfast was definitely above average. Two ladies prepared a nice spread and were very helpful. Some unusual items like fresh crapes were nice. Don't hesitate to ask for fried eggs, turkish coffee, etc. Front deck guys where very helpful and friendly. Hotel is not big, but has various types of rooms. Good location in about 5-7 minutes walk to Blue Mosque. I recommend it.

Very close to Sultanahmet square, 12-15 minutes walk to Grand Bazaar, close to public transport. I had a great room with water view, breakfast was different variety of delicious food. The only problem at night if you want to sleep early wear earplugs, restaurant near by is noisy.

This is an old, small hotel with a beautiful Turkish style to it. The lobby is tiny but lovely. The room we had was one of their better rooms, and it was superb! The manager was Dogan Sumengen. He took care of every detail of our stay. - Transportation to and from the hotel. - Transportation and to and from excursions. We requested a side trip to Cappadocia, and he planned every detail of the trip, the air travel, the hotel, the tours, the balloon ride, everything. And the hotel that he chose for us in Cappadocia was wonderful! When we returned Istanbul this will be the place we will stay.

The staffs are really cordial,nice and sweet. Since my mother is an elderly person and our flight landed earlier, we needed seven to eight hours early check in. They allowed us early check in , gave us a suite without any extra fees.The breakfast was really nice. Everyone tried making our stay comfortable.

I had a great stay. The staff are really friendly and it was great meeting other patrons. It’s also so close to the blue mosque and all the tourist attractions so the location is great! Just to let you know - Istanbul is hilly so there is a lot of uphill and downhill walks everywhere, so be prepared! Another good thing about this hotel is the ease of getting a taxi. The central part of the city is closed to traffic during the day and that makes getting taxis difficult from more inner city hotels. This one is 3 minutes from the blue mosque and is accessible at all times by taxi and the tram. The breakfast here was the best of the three hotels I stayed at and the other two were 5* hotels. The decor is a bit dated but, given that I was hardly there, it didn’t matter. The bed was super comfortable and the furniture. I had a complimentary upgrade to a suite and it was brilliant, the couches were great! Bring toiletries with you as you will get soap and shampoo (it’s a three star) but I did that and loved it. I would happily stay here again. Also, like others have said, there is a lift! Great place

Ada Hotel is situated in the Old Town, it is walkable to major tourist attractions and tram station. We had pleasant interactions with people managing the hotel, Ali was super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic, as the view of the Marble Sea! We had all we needed for a great time in Istanbul.

Das ganze Hotel stinkt nach billigem Bratfett. In der zweiten Nacht lief der Stromgenerator so laut, dass man nicht schlafen konnte. Das Frühstück ist einfach mit billigen Produkten. Der Orangensaft ist reine Chemie. Wir haben den Aufenthalt abgebrochen. Es war nicht mehr auszuhalten.
