This is easily located when entering town. The parking lot is large enough to accommodate larger vehicles. The facility is very well kept and the staff are very friendly, and helpful. I would happily stay here again if I’m back in Thunderbay.

The hotel room was excellent and a good location. A nice restaurant two doors down saved driving after a long day. The exercise facility was run down and not well maintained. It was minimal but that's OK if everything is functional, which it wasn't. Commonly used lighter free weights were missing, the bike had no resistance feature that worked, the screen on the elliptical trainer was hatched; the treadmill was fine. Disappointing! The website said it had a pool/hot tub; it didn't. When asked, the front desk staff said "Our other two hotels here do have pools but we don't ay this facility". Misleading ......

There was only one elevator that customers and cleaners used. The wait time to use was long. The breakfast was very few options like bread, boiled ends and cereal. Other than that the stay was good.

Breakfast included was surprisingly good for “continental” (even had scrambled eggs, sausages and pancakes), but actual plates and cutlery, as opposed to paper and cardboard, would be preferred. Fitness facility was tiny - not sure why they even bothered. Appreciated proximity to the university, which was why I chose this hotel.

Only bad thing was the carpet in the elevator was really disgusting. The carpet overall in the hotel was bleh. No idea why hotels always have carpet…it’s disgusting. Other than that, the room was comfy. Loved that they had Dove soap products in the washroom.

This hotel is close to major Thunder Bay highways and easy to reach. Quiet and comfortable. Only downside were carpet conditions throughout hallways and rooms. Definitely need to be cleaned

Average but dated decor for a very expensive room. Water pressure was terrible so I had to run water forever just to get clean could not fill tub stopper didn’t work shower pressure was absolutely awful even on the strongest setting it would not spray enough to get clean so I had to kneel and turn my head upside down under tap to wash my hair after I had already showered. They would not honour the medical rate even though I was there for medical appointments because I booked through a third party vendor so my medical travel grant no longer covers the cost of my stay.

Booked via Expedia which was great, showed up and they simply said no reservation, go back and sort it with who you booked. Chased the details abs had to have Expedia call them to finally check in as if the reservation details and receipt weren’t enough to make them do something on their end. Then no hot water, a KNOWN ISSUE they didn’t bother to mention. Non chalantly “oh yeah we tried to fix it but it didn’t work”. This was a $260 night for literally nothing.

This is a solid option if you are visiting Thunder Bay. The front desk and cleaning staff are professional and polite. 5 gold stars to the lady who looks after breakfast. Her client service is outstanding. Her personality makes you want to visit Days Inn more often too. The rooms are clean and spacious. The property is very well maintained.

On check in, I was shown a letter saying due to covid, rooms wouldn’t be cleaned unless requested. On the 2nd of our 3rd night we requested the room be cleaned and were told no. We then asked if we could have our garbage removed or if we could bring it to the desk and were told we were supposed to ask to have our room cleaned - which we did. At this point, the covid excuse for not cleaning rooms is silly and a weak excuse for poor service.

Excellent breakfast included! Lots of fresh fruit, good coffee for a hotel, spacious area to eat in, welcoming staff member who kept the area very clean and made sure everything was perfect! We actually go to this hotel for the breakfast included!! It doesn't disappoint! Our rug in our room needs to be cleaned though.

Queen room was spacious and extremely clean. The beds was firm, but, comfy. The property was clean. The breakfast was typical fare. It was nice that they offered fresh fruit and had a pancake machine. The breakfast attendant was amazing. She was so friendly and efficient!! She made everyone feel welcomed.

Was disappointed at the breakfast. The hot food tray must not have been working as the food in it was cold. I’m guessing this doesn’t happen all the time, but was very disappointing for us this trip. The room was nice, the tv was excellent for selection and viewing. Will stay again when in the area.
