I was charged $200 more by the hotel upon checkout than I should have been based on the agreed “pay at hotel” price in my booking confirmation. I am unable to reach them by phone and had no replies to my email asking for this to be resolved.

A/C struggled to cool the room. Maybe because the thermostat was right next to the unit or the blower was subpar, but the room was warm and wouldn’t cool, even though the thermostat said 64. It was probably 74. The pool bar closed early both nights we wanted to grab a nightcap up there. I am not sure how much you save by closing 45 minutes early. It can’t be much. We were disappointed. Room was nice. Bedding was good. Very close to the nightlife (easy walking distance). Great breakfast buffet with attentive wait staff. Bar was pricey, considering the proximity to other, much cheaper venues.

JAKE at the front desk was TERRIBLE!!! When I prepared to check in there was a small problem. JAKE was very RUDE and asked to leave the line so that he could help someone else! I refused and shortly thereafter, the problem was resolved. JAKE did the same thing to the late in front on me. Put him the back room somewhere! NOT who should be greeting guests. First impressions!

I arrived at main entrance to check in. Before I had time to get out of the car, valet staff approved me and asked if I was checking in and I was told to drive into the parking garage to unload the luggage. I did and found that there was no lobby entrance from inside the garage. While my son went inside to get a cart for the luggage, I called the hotel and explained the situation and a bellman was sent to the garage to help me. I told Mary Jo or Mary Ann (not sure on the name) and the bellman that it was not a good look for Hilton Hotel. I could hear Mary laughing at the situation which I was not happy about but did not call her out on it. After I settled in the room, I decided not to let the unpleasant experience ruin my trip but to leave a review instead.
