Good hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Walkable to downtown. Quiet. Lots of parking. Overall good hotel. Cons for me: (small issues) The Tv in the room did not work correctly, kept freezing and shutting off. The bar didnt have any working drafts, only basic cans/bottles and extremely limited food.

The property itself is a gem. It's a short walk to Clipper Stadium, and about a 20 minute walk to the center of Lancaster. My only complaint would be the elevators are on the slower side. I'd definitely book another stay.

The only two negatives were the lighting could have been brighter, and the products in the bathroom had not been replenished. Would definitely stay again if back in this area.

We stayed at the hotel for one night from a Friday to a Saturday. The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The room was a good size for two people. We parked in the covered garage on the property which was very close to the main entry. We didn’t go for breakfast in the hotel but went down to check it out and it looked pretty typical. The hotel is within walking. Distance to a few places to eat. We walked about 10ish minutes to Iron Hill. We had a few drinks at the bar in the hotel after dinner, which was convenient. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

The shower drain needs cleaning. When taking a shower, it smelled liked sewage. The bottom of the tiles and door need to be cleaned. Actually, the whole bath room needs attention. The one night it seemed as if a medicinal smell filled the room for a couple hours. The woman that worked the breakfast area was outstanding! She kept everything stocked, cleaned tables, ran the dishwasher and assisted with any requests.

Really enjoyed the convenient location, size of the room and cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. Housekeeping could be improved as did not remove dirty cups and no turndown service received. However overall it was great.

I was most impressed with the bathtub, having the proper grab bars and non slip tub was so great! The cleanliness was top notch and staff do pleasant! The free breakfast was fine but I do recommend Rachel’s cafe for awesome crepes!

Very nice hotel. Easy parking. Good breakfast. There was a smell in the bathroom (probably the way the plumbing was done) the only way to help was to keep the door closed and the fan on. Staff was very friendly and professional.

Loved our stay at the Arts Hotel. Huge room with nice sitting area was a complete surprise. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Unique property in downtown, walkable to things. We would absolutely stay here again and were sorry we only had one night!

We found it convenient especially for the Barnstormers game. The room was clean looking although the carpet was very dirty. Plenty of info in room for dining places, points of interest etc. Room was on smaller side but we did find coffee maker in closet. " Breakfast" offerings were fine. Pretty much standard for the price point although we did get a long stemmed rose. Oh I forgot...tv didn't work with HD stations even though card on table showed stations as available....no big deal as we were only there for one night.

I stayed at this property several times and really liked it. however, this stay was a little disappointing because they gave me A studio queen, which appears to be their smallest accommodation. it had a 7 foot ceiling and I irregularly shaped. barely room for the bed. there wasn’t enough room to put in a luggage stand. Clean, nice staff.

It’s a unique property, in a converted historic warehouse, with an art theme. So lots of exposed brick and paintings on the walls and a sketch pad in each room. Super tasteful and fun. Also clean and modern. The rooms are on the smaller side, but totally fine. And it’s not in the cutest area but a quick drive to the central walkable part of Lancaster. Very reasonable prices, so a great choice if you’re someone who appreciates a boutique hotel rather than a generic chain.

Hotel is very convenient if you are visiting Franklin & Marshall College with the school being a 3 min drive or a short walk. All staff were very friendly. The room was nice and clean. However, the soundproofing is almost non-existent and you can hear everything in the hallway, room above, and outside in the parking lot. The noise issue is the primary issue if you are looking to get a good night’s rest. Otherwise, it is a very nice, historic property.

Checked in and took the slowest one elevator ever to my room. My key card didn’t work to open my door. Had to go back down again to get my cards to actually activated. Pain in the butt. TV didn’t work. Asked receptionist to get fixed. Came back from entire day away. Not fixed. Also when I dialed to tell her about it no one picked up line. That is concerning. I had to call from cell. Then she picked right up. Like didn’t want to deal with any actual problems. Super loud room. The room above us was so loud. Literally couldn’t sleep. Showers are unusually large. In order to use the shampoo that is in dispenser, you have to walk out from the shower to reach it. It’s really an odd placement. Bad planning. This place charges a lot for what they offer. Service is poor. Everything else is sub par. This was my second visit. It’s close the college campus which is convenient. That’s it’s only appeal.

Rooms on the site show brick walls. I received a room that looked nothing like the pics, no brick wall. It was by the housekeeping closet and the parking deck door. Also, I was charged $40 more for the night than what the actual rate was. It was $99 total, yet Expedia charged me $140.

I came to Lancaster on business and booked this hotel for the first time. I have to say, it surpassed my expectations. Had a minor hic-up with WIFI so they moved me into another room that was a huge upgrade. They did it without me specifically asking for any upgrades. The check in was easy, fast and the receptionist was helpful with dining optons, which, there are many very close. I hit the Iron Hill Brewery and The Fridge which were both great. The Fridge has great flatbread pizzas and other dishes whereas the Iron Hill has a complet menu and had a great happy hours special! Highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was excellent. The only issue was when we tried to check in. After driving for 2 hours to get there,we stood at the desk for at least ten minutes waiting,holding our luggage. Meanwhile an employee sat there and couldn't be bothered to tell anyone that we were standing there.

Yes, it has beautiful rooms and attentive staff happy to go above-and-beyond, but the hotel itself is respectful of the beauty of creativity and inspires it in their guests. We arrived on FRI (4/14) having driven 6 hours to learn The Lancaster Arts Hotel was overbooked and they didn’t have our room. We were sent to another hotel for the night. The next morning we returned to The Arts Hotel. The front desk associate was polite and courteous confirming we were set, the room was being cleaned and check in for SAT (4/15) was at 3pm. We returned to the hotel around 6pm to learn the hotel was overbooked and again they didn’t have our room. The alternatives offered were to take a room without a bed or to receive a credit. The manager on duty didn’t offer an alternate hotel accommodation for the night like the associate had done the night before. Instead she held her hands up expressing she wasn’t there the night prior and didn’t know what had happened. Needless to say, our experience this past weekend was very disappointing and sub par for a highly rated premium hotel. Finally after 35 minutes and a missed dinner reservation, the manager was able to relocate us to the Holiday Inn Lancaster. I might add the staff there was polite, professional and courteous. The hotel was clean and the room was ready for us. I hope ownership/management takes some corrective action with senior management at The Arts Hotel, as this weekend was a major blunder. We would like to stay there in the future, but do not have confidence our reservation will be honored at this point.

Amazing accommodations our suite was gorgeous and super clean. At every turn conceirge was helpful and always polite at all hours of the day or night. I even needed extra pillows and utensils in the middle of the night and they were always accommodating. The lobby is beautiful, the bartender informative and patient when we arrived late almost before closing. The lighting drinks, tasty cocktails and art in every floor added a visual appeal and aesthetic that felt more cosmopolitan than the overall feel of being in Lancaster or near Amish country. Only con is the breakfast is not included and it is pretty below average if you have to pay for it. My daughter and husband ate breakfast and said it was pretty bad. Overall, I’d come back again in a heartbeat just take care of your own food or go out for your meal. Otherwise a stunning hotel with exceptional hospitality.

Convenient location to walk to restaurants, shops and the Fulton Theater. A historic charming hotel. Breakfast was a nice amenity and a step up from standard complimentary breakfasts; from the pancakes which were much tastier than the typical pancake makers with no mess like standard units, to the nice variety of toppings to put on the oatmeal.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were very comfortable and the location was nice because we could walk to enough of the city to eat and explore. We very much enjoyed our stay. We were there from 5/19-5/21. Loved the art work in the elevators, very cool idea! We ate in the onsite restaurant and were blown away by the great server and excellent meal. Everything exceeded our expectations.
