What guests think

At Parry Sound Inn & Suites, travellers consistently highlight very clean rooms, friendly front-desk staff, and a convenient location just off Highway 400 near restaurants and shops, making it a practical, good-value stop for short stays.

Rooms are generally comfortable and often spacious, with window seats and decent beds, though several guests report thin walls, noisy heaters or AC, and occasional TV or Wi-Fi quirks. The complimentary continental breakfast is repeatedly described as basic with limited hot or protein options, though coffee and muffins are appreciated. Parking is easy, EV chargers and small outdoor seating areas are handy, but signage and driveway lighting can be hard to spot and the elevator can feel slow or warm. Expect a clean, straightforward stay with warm service and simple amenities.

Location is great, very close to restaurants and stores. Just a short drive to the waterfront to catch the cruise. Front desk was polite and helpful. The rooms were clean but we did notice some disrepair around the hotel. Our thermostat (AC) was stuck on the lowest setting and any time we tried to change it an hour later it would revert back to freezing. The elevator wasn't functioning correctly and we were nervous to use it. We also heard other guests mentioning that they were nervous to use the elevator. Breakfast was pretty mediocre compared to other hotels, but we grabbed a muffin and a coffee to hold us over each morning.

In all the years my husband and I have been traveling, this was by far the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed at. Our room, the hallway and other public areas were spotless. The front-desk staff was super, helping us identify some of the best spots to visit and places to eat. Well done!

Very nice hotel, close to the highway renovated bathroom comfortable bed. Black hair in the tub & I do not have black hair, cleaning could be better. Through no fault of the hotel the people in the adjoining room had there phone alarm (not on vibrate) actually set loud on their phone for 4:30am 5am 6am & 7am, when I went to check out at 9am they had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on their door handle!!!! Really love ignorant people!!

Parking safe and easy. Room was clean and breakfast was fresh. Nice they provide trays to take to the room. Unfortunate we were put beside the elevators and we were there three days listening to the cable going up and down we should have asked for another room. WIFI was bad also though they are looking into it. Still the best option for Parry Sound.

It was just okay. The front desk staff on Saturday evening was not friendly AT ALL, in fact, he was quite rude and made feel bad for booking on Expedia. The room (suite) was severely outdated. Linens were clean but not one mirror was properly clean. Breakfast was adequate and the front desk lady on Sunday was very friendly and tended to buffet well.

Overall, it was a great stay. Price and location was great. It was a bonus that we were able to have our family dog with us. The one staff that checked us in and out was very friendly and professional. My only complaint was that one of the staff working the late evening shift aggressively accused my husband and son of playing nicky nicky nine doors, and our door was one of the doors that got banged on. I would strongly suggest that before you start yelling at hotel guests and throwing around accusations and threats, you know for sure that they are the ones that did it. It was upsetting for them to be treated that way.

Nice clean hotel. Right across the street from shopping and restaurants. Very convenient, pet friendly with 2 separate outdoor areas. Lots of parking at no extra cost. Would be good if there were a couple of barbecues for guests using the picnic tables. Breakfast is included but disappointing with only very few items available and some moldy fruits. Overall good option at a lower price in busy and popular area but pack up your own food or make restaurant reservations in town ahead of time.
