The atmosphere was calm and friendly. Staff very attentive. Monkeys, lizards and exotic birds visiting everyday. Two great pools, the one outside our terrace was peaceful, always sun loungers available. Good choice at breakfast but lunch and dinner prices quite expensive in comparison to local restaurants. Overall, loved my stay.

I loved the privacy of our pool villa but my ONLY issue was that the pool was not heated and was quite cold..even in the hot weather it needed to be warmer. Plus they didn’t have any lamps. The lights were a little weird in the room.

Suíte Pool Villa com muito conforto, hotel pé na areia, café da manhã maravilhoso com a linda vista da praia de Railay West. Funcionários muito educados! Massagem com aromaterapia do Spa do hotel perfeita ! Ficaria o mês todo se pudesse. Pontos negativos: chuveiro do banheiro ruim ( o chuveiro da área externa do quarto era top! Sugiro trocar todos por aquele modelo) e não ter suco natural da fruta no café da manhã , tendo tantas frutas disponíveis para os hóspedes. Talvez seja cultural , mas os sucos pareciam artificiais daqueles de pozinho!

Beautiful location particularly in less crowded sandbox circumstances. All hotels have clearly struggled and some of this shows. Breakfast less extensive than previous visits but egg station still very good. Jacuzzi in villa is in need of maintenance. Not all jets work and filler too slow needed to use outside shower to fill! Most staff helpful and well organized transfers from Ao Nam Mao. Hotel has a beachfront pool but it was used by non residents as security was inadequate to identify hotel guests. Grounds generally well kept but area around East entrance really quite shabby and contrast to West end of resort. Overall very good value as rates are significantly lower than previous visits.

Excellent property that has a couple great pools, lots of chairs and umbrellas to hide from the sun. The garden and greenery were well tended. Great location on the beach slightly away from all the boats launching but not too far to have to carry your bags. In front of the hotel there is an area cordoned off for swimming and that’s right out front of the property. Restaurant served a great variety of breakfast at their buffet which was included in our stay. Only negative comment would be that the rooms could use a bit of a refresh. We had an excellent stay. Feb 10-13th 2025.

This is a beautiful property and my pickup at the airport and long boat ride to resort was great. The villas huge and the terrace was a great place to enjoy the wonderful trees and flowers all around. The views of the mountains was amazing. The service at front desk, spa, and restaurant was exceptional. The rooms and surrounding areas was always clean. Towels, umbrella, beach bag and slippers were provided. The food in the restaurant was great with many options. I would greatly recommend this property as well are return

The location to the beach is great. The restaurant breakfast is horrible. Especially with no vegan options except salad (lettuce, tomato) and watermelon. Bathrooms need updating…our shower smelled like poo for days and had to be fixed. The bed made huge creaking sounds everytime you got on and off. The spa in front of our room looked undesirable. The monkeys attacked my daughter when walking by. Front staff was nice. Centara grand we stayed at next was a dream.

A limpeza do quarto foi horrível. Matei uma barata no banheiro e a barata ficou 3 dias no mesmo lugar pois não limparam o banheiro direito. A banheira ficou suja, cheia de areia, e não lavaram.

We will definitely be back!!! It was the most incredible vacation. The staff was fantastic! Location was central to everything, the beach, village, restaurant, dock. Exceptional transportation and assistance. Food was amazing, restroom clean, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels! Perfect!!!!!

Casi todo estuvo perfecto. El cuarto estaba muy grande y limpio al igual que en baño. El jacuzzi con hidromasaje estaba excelente. La cama muy cómoda , la TV con aplicaciones de internet y el frigobar con refrescos, agua, chocolates, frituras y nueces hicieron muy amena y cómoda nuestra estancia. El único detalle es que la base de la cama es muy grande y sobresale del límite de los colchones, lo cual ocasionó que nos golpeamos muy fuerte en las piernas al pasar cerca de la cama.
Casi todo estuvo perfecto. El cuarto estaba muy grande y limpio al igual que en baño. El jacuzzi con hidromasaje estaba excelente. La cama muy cómoda , la TV con aplicaciones de internet y el frigobar con refrescos, agua, chocolates, frituras y nueces hicieron muy amena y cómoda nuestra estancia. We stayed in a privacy cottage and it was great! Small sitting area with a pond that was full of flowers and frogs, also had a small jacuzzi bath outside. Room itself was large and spacious with great AC! Comfortable bed and very prompt room service. Pool area was lovely with tremendous views of Railay beach. Restaurant was good and the bar is accessible between both the room and beach. We loved our stay and would feel very good about returning one day!

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage. Man merkt den Zimmern leider an, dass das Hotel in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Einrichtung versprüht einen gewissen Charm und die Ausstattung des Zimmers ist absolut in Ordnung. Das Zimmer ist jedoch sehr schlecht isoliert. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Poolblick. Wir hörten Nachts unseren Nachbarn von nebenan laut schnarcheln, die Nachbaren über uns hörten wir laufen. Aus dem Badezimmer hörten wir den Lärm des Wegs an den Strand und von der Eingangstür her (welche übrigens zwei offene Spälte), hört man die Leute baden. Die Nächte waren daher leider nicht wirklich erholsam... Ansonsten ein gutes Hotel mit sehr schöner Lage und Anlage.

Wir hatten uns extra ein Hotel ausgesucht in Strandnähe. Die Hotelanlage erstreckt sich jedoch über die gesamte Breite und somit lag unser Zimmer fast komplett auf der West-Seite anstatt auf der Ost-Seite mit den ikonischen Railay - Beach. Die Wege sind nicht super lang also ist das jetzt nicht unbedingt ein Deal-breaker. Gut gefallen hat uns die Größe vom Zimmer. Es war echt sehr geräumig und man hatte jeden Tag eine aufgefüllte minibar mit einer kleinen Auswahl an Softdrinks und kleineren Snacks. Das war es aber leider auch schon mit dem positiven. Negativ aufgefallen ist uns ein ständiger Ausguss/ Gulli Geruch im Bad der beim ersten duschen sogar erst stärker wurde bevor es besser wurde. Ebenso lässt der Wasserdruck echt zu wünschen übrig(die regendusche ging einigermaßen noch da die Schwerkraft hier alle Arbeit leistet). Ebenfalls waren wir negativ überrascht das wir als Hotelgäste weggeschickt wurden als wir außerhalb des Frühstücks nach einer kleinen Flasche Wasser gefragt hatten. Hier wurden 71 Baht verlangt(was absoluter Wucher ist) und auf meine 20Baht die ich dabei hatte wurde mir nur gesagt ich könne ja weiterlaufen und mir bei einem anderen Hotel oder laden den Strand runter Wasser kaufen gehen. An sich kein Problem, aber trotzdem hinterlässt es bei diesem Hohen Preisen einen bitteren Nachgeschmack - vorallem weil eine kleine Wasserflasche das Hotel so gut wie nichts kostet und es mir etwas kleinlich vorkam.

Railay is a great spot for a few days. Great access to west Railay Beach and short stroll to walking path to Phra Nang too. Breakfast options were sufficient - a few Thai dishes, salads, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pancakes or French toast, coffee machines and you can order eggs to your liking. Rooms are a little tired and I had to go buy hair conditioner and body lotion as room only provided a combined shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Mini bar was stoked daily which was great as we had snacks every day so didn’t need to buy anything. Definitely worth checking out Railay if you are there, much more peaceful than Ao Nang.
Railay is a great spot for a few days. Great access to west Railay Beach and short stroll to walking path to Phra Nang too. Breakfast options were sufficient - a few Thai dishes, salads, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, pancakes or French toast, coffee machines and you can order eggs to your liking. Rooms are a little tired and I had to go buy hair conditioner and body lotion as room only provided a combined shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Mini bar was stoked daily which was great as we had snacks every day so didn’t need to buy anything. Definitely worth checking out Railay if you are there, much more peaceful than Ao Nang.

Excellent property that has a couple great pools, lots of chairs and umbrellas to hide from the sun. The garden and greenery were well tended. Great location on the beach slightly away from all the boats launching but not too far to have to carry your bags. In front of the hotel there is an area cordoned off for swimming and that’s right out front of the property. Restaurant served a great variety of breakfast at their buffet which was included in our stay. Only negative comment would be that the rooms could use a bit of a refresh. We had an excellent stay. Feb 10-13th 2025.

This is a beautiful property and my pickup at the airport and long boat ride to resort was great. The villas huge and the terrace was a great place to enjoy the wonderful trees and flowers all around. The views of the mountains was amazing. The service at front desk, spa, and restaurant was exceptional. The rooms and surrounding areas was always clean. Towels, umbrella, beach bag and slippers were provided. Great location on the bay; the best attribute. Hotel service was good, restaurant/bar not so much - most seemed they didn't want to be there and I was there many days (comparable to competing resort properties). Restaurant was disappointing so after first day we always sought alternatives, which there are several. The top reason to stay there is location.

Stayed in a ‘Mai Phai Tropical Villa’ which was renovated to a reasonable standard and was reasonably spacious. The vegetation surrounding the villa and the inner walkways was well kept. The bed was comfortable and there were clean sheets. There were sufficient chairs and a sofa. The standard of cleanliness in the villa was reasonable. White towels provided and beach towels plus a carry bag. Complementary drinks/snacks in the minibar. Overall the villas are close to each other laid out in rows with small walking avenues in between, there is one main avenue for the hotel tuk tuks to take guests from the pier to the reception area and for villa services. The main avenue is not very nice and it’s smelly. There are two very small swimming pools in compact areas. The reception area is not welcoming and the staff were unenthusiastic, fed up, tired and their English is very basic. When asked questions they were not interested in replying if it was outside of their rehearsed lines. The restaurant food is very poor and expensive for what it is, the staff are again not as you would expect for this supposed quality of hotel. The breakfast was extremely poor quality and we felt sick after the dishes we ate. Tablecloths, cutlery and furniture were old and worn. Not one guest smiled for our stay, this said it all, guests were unhappy. Website is cleverly marketed with empty beach etc, this is not how it is. This was a disappointing stay and Railay is too overcrowded. Best to avoid.

We will definitely be back!!! It was the most incredible vacation. The staff was fantastic! Location was central to everything, the beach, village, restaurant, dock. Exceptional transportation and assistance. Food was amazing, restroom clean, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels! Perfect!!!!!

The room was comfortable but we were very disappointing to find we were 10min away from the beach, the swimming pool and restaurant. Our room was closer to the other bay in the east side where is not possible to swim. We traveled with our 5yo so it was very inconvenient to go back and forth from the room to the beach. I think the location of room should be disclosure during booking to make an informed choice.

We loved Railay Bay Resort and wish we stayed longer. I had 2 massages with Kate which were excellent. The only downside is the restaurant on location is quite average. The restaurant is very understaffed, but otherwise the rest of the resort seemed well taken care of with plenty of help.

Probably the best resort on Railay Beach. Beautiful location. Pool and restaurant are beach front. One negative is that the only beach chairs were at the pool. None of the resorts have umbrellas or chairs for the actual beach, which I suppose is because of the limited space. The restaurant was mediocre, which is the reason for 4 starts. While the free breakfast was pretty good - eggs cooked your own way, variety of hot foods. It is halal. BUT we had to hunt down servers to get our check every afternoon. Food is just ok on regular menu, Thai food much better than the other choices. We had a cute cottage with enclosure. Very cute, but couldn't use jacuzzi because the water seemed to back up into it...
