Krabi Heritage Hotel

Good location only short walk from beach and all the day trips. Bad location at night due to a very noisy but very small bar just outside the gate. Ask for mountain view room. Pool can get busy to to the small number of loungers. Breakfast was ok and chef very friendly. Front desk a little abrupt. Gym did not have any water or sanitizer to wipe equipment after use which was yuck

Pool area is a bit small and can get crowded.

J'ai choisi la chambre avec vue montagne et c'était fantastique de prendre un café tous les matins sur le balcon, face à ce paysage incroyable, on voit aussi la mer ! Hôtel situé idéalement : plage, commerces, restaurants, station de bus, taxis, bateaux à proximité immédiate. Tout est accessible à pied, il y a de quoi faire de belles balades. On peut aller sur la très belle plage de Pai Plong en empruntant le Monkey trail, chemin où on rencontre de nombreux singes. Il y a une agence de voyages au lobby qui propose des prix intéressants pour les excursions et les transferts. J'ai été satisfaite des services.

In general a good hotel. Only downsides were the ongoing renovations at the hotel entrance, and that our room was facing a party-bar which was loud during all nights

Bra läge och jättefint hotell med bra frukost. Rent och fräscht. Möjligtvis att gymmet var ganska dåligt och maskinerna fungerade dåligt. Gångavstånd till strand och strandpromenad. Kommer gärna tillbaka om vi åker tillbaka till Ao Nang. Passar både par och familjer eller för affärsresa.

Quiet and comfortable with a good pool and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Short 5 min walk to the beach and good food to be had. Super large bed and large rooms extra seating options, balcony with table and chairs. Staff were great and restaurant had plenty of options for food and room service.

The Krabi Heritage Hotel was a great place to stay in Krabi. The room was clean and spacious and the view of the mountain and ocean was lovely. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help make our stay pleasant. The hotel itself is set back from the main street which is nice and it is a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. There is a lovely little French restaurant in the same road as the hotel and you are walking distance to multiple pharmacies restaurants dive shops. The concierge in the hotel lobby was so helpful to set up day trips to the Tiger temple, Emerald pool, and boat snorkeling tours. I would highly recommend the Hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Krabi Ao Nang.

Very nice hotel with big and clean rooms. problem that the sound from the clubs on the street kept us awake half the night :( they helped us switch room for the last night when there was an opening and that was great. Helpful and sweet staff, good breakfast and an overall nice stay. Really nice view of the mountain! Minus on the “reservations” with towels around the kind of small pool area. If you wheren’t there to “reserve” a chair with your towel before 8 you didn’t get a chair until maybe afternoon..

The location of this property to the shops, restaurants and beach was great! It was central to everything and only a walk away from most things. The staff were lovely and friendly as well from reception to the restaurant and cleaning staff. What l didn’t like was the thumping noise of the surrounding bars and clubs every night until early morning and the pool / beach towels for guests to use were useless as towels as they were small, thin and old looking - these need to be updated to better ones. There was mould around the shower recess area that could have been cleaned properly and the bathroom a little old looking, same as the bathroom towels! It was a nice stay but for the price point paid, I did expect a higher level of cleanliness and facilities (ie towels) from the hotel (not staff but other areas mentioned above).

Convenient location. Near the beach and the spot where you book a boat to Railey Beach. The hotel is a little behind the Main Street so I had no problem with the noise level. They also have someone present who can help you book tours and transfers. Only issue was a damp smell that was present whenever the AC was turned off.

Staff was very rude, shower hot water was not working properly sometimes it was super hot or super cold. Rented 3 rooms, mattress in one room was soaking wet, friend of mine got all wet when slept first night. House keeping wouldn't clean the room even we left sign for room service. We had to inform them every day to clean the room.

Overall a very nice hotel. Clean rooms and nice staff. The only problem I had was the the water never getting hot. I had only cold(ish) showers. I have stayed here before and will again. Excellent location close to beach.

We had a great stay at Krabi Heritage! The room was really comfortable, spacious and clean! The property in general was really well kept, with a great pool area and a really good breakfast buffet. You can also buy day trips and transport from the hotel lobby as well if desired. I would highly recommend this hotel for exploring the islands and beaches around Ao Nang and Krabi. The only minor complaint was the lack of wifi in the room - it only worked in one corner of the room so I was using mobile data a lot.

Room was excellent and spacious, mountain view was beautiful! Hotel is in very populated area, not super serene but the room was a great escape from the noise. Staff was super friendly and beds were very comfortable!

Rooms are not sound proof

We never had hot water for showers even though reporting it 3 times and again at checkout no apologies or compensation. One instant coffee is also not enough.

Wifi was very poor. At times didn't work at all.

Overall a decent stay if for a few days. Very clean, good location. Laundry service is a few steps away from the hotel. The beach is @ 10 minute walk. Lots of food choices. The only minor problem I had was the airconditiong in the room. It takes longer than 15 minutes to notice any cooling. Secondly, it’s regulated not to go below 25 degrees, so if you can’t full blast. Last, you have to remove the key when leaving, which shuts off the AC, which means you start all over again upon return. This can get annoying on super hot days if you’re a spoiled foreigner like myself…Overall, it’s very good for the price.

We arrived prior to check in time and requested early check in. A very gruff front desk manager immediately scolded us and said we would have to wait. The room and hotel condition was a bit dated but good. Our entire negative experience was shaped entirely by our interaction with front desk staff. At check in we had 2 rooms for 4 people. There is a strict one key per room policy. On the 2nd day my sister and her husband ended up going in different directions. We arrived back at the hotel and she had no key. The desk lady scolded us for not leaving a key at the desk. Finally, she sent maintenace to open the door for her. Problem is the key controls the electricity. So i went back to the desk and had a strained argument with the clerk that they cannot leave her in a hot room with no lights or ac. She finally provided a blank key to run the ac and lights. The following day my sister doubted her husband would leave the key at the desk again so she placed paper in the door jam so she could avoid the same drama again. As soon as we returned to the hotel front staff came running at us with a cell phone pic of the paper scolding us. Despite all this we would be in Ao Nang for another 5 days. We asked to extend our stay and was told we would have to move from our premium rooms to street facing rooms which are very loud. Also, the price quoted was 2x our current rate and 2x+ the rate on hotels.com. We moved to a new hotel which checked us in early and gladly provided 2 keys.

Hotel was clean and in a great location. Only 5 minutes walk from ao nang beach. Travelled solo felt safe and had every amenity needed nearby.

Everything was terrific, especially the location. It is set off the main rd, down an alley that has everything you need.

Bra hotell. Service vennlig personale, bra frokost, rent og trivelig (på tross av at det ble gjort vedlikeholds arbeider på stedet). Hotellet ligger sentralt, butikker og restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet, også lokale restauranter ligger forholdsvis nært. Relativt kort vei til stranden, og vis man ikke ønsker å gå dit så har hotellet eget basseng med solsenger.

The Aonang beach is only 5 min walk from the hotel. In addition, the night market, shopping place and restaurants are also very close to the hotel.

Hotellet var rent, badrummet var fräscht för att vara här men det fanns mini myror som kröp. Vi gillade dock inte läget alls då det var hög musik utanför från klubbar osv. I övrigt var hotellet bra och man fick hjälp från personal vid behov.

Location was close to shops,restaurants and beach but bars in the area were very noisy at night. Pool was nice. Breakfast was good.

Hotel très bien situé. Personnels tres agréables et toujours là pour vous aider ( certains ont des difficultés avec l'anglais mais ils font beaucoup d'effort donc pas de soucis) Attention quand meme au bruit, l'hôtel est situé derrière la rue animée de Krabi donc music jusqu'a minuit ( pas un problème pour moi)

Good location. Quick check in. Lobby looked nice. We were on floor 4 and had a mountain view... this is a must if you want a quiet room. The front facing/pool view rooms you hear the clubs and bars. The hotel could do with abit of love... the corridors are alittle "hospital" looking and not particularly welcoming. The room was good enough as a base for our trip. Nothing fancy but we only paid £100 for 3 nights b&b. So good value for money. The only downside for myself is the air-con. Although it worked, it was noisy and for some reason just in the doorway there was a flashing green light in the ceiling vent. This flashed ALL night. Im not a great sleeper and this didnt help. Breakfast was plain but there was enough choice to find something. The pool area was clean and tidy. There was a small bar at the poolside but i didnt ever see someone serving. The reception staff were polite on arrival but didnt seem to like us asking any questions after this.

Great hotel - the location and pool were terrific. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Thailand - it’s a great mix of both Thai and western. I would recommend staying here!

Our stay was excellent! The hotel was beautiful. Breakfast had a great selection and was tasty. The pool area was great with comfortable lounge chairs. The room was comfy, great A/C and clean. The staff quickly fixed our shower when we had a problem. All of the staff were friendly and provided great service, especially Pom, who made great margaritas and was very attentive.

Lovely hotel in great central location. Breakfast good too, even had poached eggs which is not normally an option in Thailand. Swimming pool great size.
