We came to the breakers for a surprise girls trip and to celebrate my daughter’s 36th birthday. Everyone at the resort went out of their way to ensure that her weekend was special. From housekeeping to valet parking, including the front desk and servers in the restaurant, the service was incredible. Everyone was so friendly and kind. The only two things I would even consider changing is the takeout lunch order from the seafood bar. Then nachos were completely soggy after sitting under their heat lamp with the lobster on top. I would simply suggest put the chips to the side and serve them separately. And the bar area outside of the lobby on Saturday night seemed, a little less desirable and more like a meat market. The bar area definitely did not live up to the standards And expectations I would have perceived for such a fine resort. Overall, I am looking forward to revisiting the breakers and enjoying the beautiful facility. The spa was great and Echo Restaurant was divine. The meal at the steak house was really nice but it was so loud inside it was difficult to have a normal conversation without talking over everyone else. The Breakers Brunch was absolutely fantastic and worth the price. You won’t be disappointed! can’t wait to revisit the Breakers!

I requested to leave early and was initially told I’d be charged a $100 penalty. Only after insisting did they offer to waive it and move us to another room—but it was going to be smaller. After paying $690 per night (plus taxes and fees), that felt unacceptable. We only stayed one night and are still waiting for a refund for the unused nights. While the hotel appears luxurious, many carpets were old and dirty. And the “beach” access is misleading—dirty, rough, and impossible to enjoy. It’s essentially unusable. To be fair, the pools were lovely… but we’re not pool people. In short: beautiful building, poor value, and disappointing service. Not the anniversary experience we were hoping for.

Exceptional service, the room was clean, the restaurants are very high end. Checking in was less than 5 minutes and the same went for checking out. We took the shuttle service to go to Flagler Steakhouse. We did a couples massage which we will absolutely do again. Enjoyed their private beach on the last day we were there. Highly recommended for a couple’s getaway

What a wonderful stay at The Breakers! Not only is it beautiful and super clean, every single staff member we encountered was polite, friendly and eager to help. I want to give a special thanks to Carina. She helped me change my reservation prior to arriving at the resort. She just so happened to be working at the check-in desk when we arrived and she remembered speaking to me over the phone earlier in the week. Then, when we returned to our room in the evening, she had sent us a sweet note and an awesome gift basket full of all kinds of snacks and goodies. It was very much appreciated! This was our second time staying at The Breakers and we will definitely be back!

We stayed there 3 nights attending a wedding in palm beach. We had to change room 2 times because of a odor in the rooms that I was sensitive to. Staff were nice and courteous , rooms are ok , definitely doesn’t feel like a five star hotel. Food was very average for a high price. We have stayed in many luxurious hotels but for $1500 a night I expected a lot more. Landscape and pool area and lobby was nice. The hallways to the rooms are so ugly and depressing that I couldn’t wait to leave. I would not stay there again.

Great property. The on site restaurants were a bit pricey, but the food was uniformly very good. The beach was not too inviting but the pool areas were very nice. Had trouble getting wi fi and Netflix. The Stores were mostly apparal oriented. Not very interesting. The buffet breakfast was excellent The architecture of the buildings is beautiful. Worth a visit. Much better than any chain hotel.

The Breakers is a legendary spot in Palm Beach. However we booked 6 rooms and we felt the staff was less impressive than the architecture. As an example, Check out was tedious and I have still not received my bills a few hours after check out. Booking restaurants for 16 persons two months before coming was so ignored by the staff that after a few email exchanges to even get a response, we had to organize other venues for our meals. No upgrade was provided which may seem uncommercial when 6 rooms are booked at top rates. The rooms are not furnished with coffee or tea machines which nowadays is substandard at 1500/night per room. Breakfast is still fabulous food and service. The seafood bar is always packed but fun, the pool is amazing and service at the restaurant is kind amicable and efficient. The grounds are beautiful. I would suggest you see other solutions if you are going as a group. Otherwise this is a great spot.

Absolutely understand why this is one of the top resorts in the world. Celebrated our 30th anniversary with a beautiful room overlooking the ocean. Literally on the breakers! Front desk staff, dining, room service, bellmen, valets - all were spectacular. The security walked me through the resort to find a restaurant! Best stay I have had in my life!

I travel a LOT. I had high expectations just based on reviews and the reputation… I was still incredibly impressed with The Breakers. The staff is next level accommodating and wonderful. The fresh flowers throughout the property are stunning. They left nothing out from the bathroom supplies, upgrade when available and constant hydration with water everywhere! I will be back.

We have stayed at great properties in both North America and Europe and would say it ranks in the Top 5 overall. Beautiful hotel, views and ambiance. The service was inconsistent in certain areas. The valet was extremely busy and seemed annoyed when I asked to call us a cab. At another time, we were pointed in pouring rain towards a shuttle parked a bit away and not offered an umbrella. Pool service was slow and we had to flag staff down for service. This is not what we are used to at 5 star properties. If they could make some adjustments in this respect, it truly would be an exceptional place to stay.

The property is beautiful and there are many things they do well. However, our check in was terrible. We arrived around 9:30pm. The valley and luggage people were good and on point. Receptionist was very arrogant. When we asked where to go for food at that hour she said that we should consider changing for the long bar. That seafood bar was an option. We asked till what time they serve food. She said 10:45pm. We said we read that it was till 10pm - is she sure. She said she is sure about 10:45. So we checked into room and slowly moved to seafood bar. Guess what they stopped serving food as 10. And lobby bar did not let us in as after 10pm you have to be over 21 and my daughter is 17. So we ended up with room service. Breakfast is great, pool is ok. Sea area need more attention - there is corrosion problem, yet no exactly addressed - not pretty. Steak house- very nice.

This hotel feels more like a service stop than a true hospitality experience, and it shows. Definitely not comparable to a Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons. Right now, I wouldn’t recommend visiting — the property is under heavy construction. The lobby and main corridors feel like a dungeon, and they’ve even covered the windows to block the view of the work outside. On-site restaurants are average at best, nothing memorable. The only highlight was breakfast and the Sunday brunch — both were genuinely good.
