Allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die für ein Luxus-Spa-Resort enttäuschend waren. Das Frühstück war leider nur ausreichend und bot nicht die Vielfalt, die man bei dieser Kategorie erwarten würde. Hier wäre eindeutig mehr Auswahl wünschenswert. Auch das Thema Sicherheit beim Überqueren des öffentliches Strandes ließ zu wünschen übrig. Die Wege könnten sicherer und klarer gestaltet werden, um Unfälle zu vermeiden. Das Spa-Angebot war grundsätzlich vorhanden, jedoch überwiegend kostenpflichtig oder nur mit Aufpreis nutzbar. Das Hotel und viele Bewertungen machen im Internet einen paradiesischen Eindruck. Die Realität sieht leider ganz anders aus. Die gesamte Anlage ist total in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Das gilt auch für den Bootsanleger. Die Boote legen anders als versprochen nicht direkt beim Hotel an, sondern am Hafen auf der Insel. Beworbene Freizeitangebote sind nicht existent. Das Fitnessstudio ist dauerhaft geschlossen. Die Liegen im Strandbereich sind alles andere als einladend und sollten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Vernünftige Handtücher werden für die Liegen leider auch nicht zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Auf der Hotelanlage gibt es sehr viele Moskitos. Des Weitern leben auf der Hotelanlage mehrere (wilde?) Hunde, was ein absolutes No Go ist. Die Hunde rennen über die Anlage und bellen teilweise die ganze Nacht durch. Wer Berührungsängste mit Reptilien hat, der sollte das Hotel meiden. Durch die Dächer können einige ungebetene Gäste in das Zimmer gelangen. Wir hatten eine größere Echse im Zimmer, wodurch wir aus dem Schlaf gerissen wurden. Unterstützung vom Personal? Fehlanzeige! Es war keiner bereit das Tier aus dem Zimmer zu entfernen. Unsere Ängste wurden nicht ernstgenommen. Dies führte dazu, dass der Aufenthalt vorzeitig abgebrochen wurde. Wir raten von dem Hotel dringend ab!

Mørkt værelse. Poolen var lukket flere af dagene hvilket var et stort minus. Fin morgen buffet. Lidt irriterende at skulle vente på bagage både ved ind og udtjekning. Dårlig mad vi fik via roomservice. Lang ind og udtjekning.

Detta hotell överträffade våra förväntningar! Rent o fint, fräscht poolområde och bra mat! Shuttle service 24/7 som kör runt dig på resorten. Du behöver inte ställa klockan för att få en solstol. Lungt, skönt och mysigt! De har tillgång till privat båt som kör dig vidare till nästa destination eller direkt till flygplatsen på koh samui, service i toppklass! Kan varmt rekommendera att välja rum med poolaccess, så värt pengarna att kunna gå ut o ta ett morgon/kvällsdopp. Det enda negativa är att det ligger väldigt avsides, så 4 nätter tyckte vi var lagom här.

Beautiful property. Really unique and special. The buggies around the property are really efficient so being on the hill is not an issue - just amazing views. Staff in restaurants are amazing and food options are good value and delicious. Staff in reception not very good. You do not feel there is anyone in charge. Check in process is poor. Rooms are dark. Beach not as nice as many on the island.

Fabulous place to stay! Convenient shuttle that can take you around the resort. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants and shops. Villa was a dream - clean, spacious and an amazing view. I ended up extending my stay and will definitely be back again!

Friendly staff. Front desk used 48 minutes for a simple upgrade to a better room . Bed bugs. Stayed at Synthiya in 2016. Returned in December 2024 where it’s clear that hotel area needs maintenance. Bad timing for pier maintenance. Noice all day from grinding - December 20th and 21st (weekend before X-mas).

Good value hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. The outside bathroom and bath were difficult to keep clean from leaves and birds. Our room was near the cleaners station and they started getting everything out at 6.30am which woke us up, Very wide choice at breakfast which was good , also very busy. There are other restaurants along the beach which are nice to visit and a change from staying in the hotel. Overall our stay was good but parts of the hotel and area are showing signs of age.

We had a rather disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment we entered our (upgraded) room, we heard constant talking noises coming from an unclear source. After some checking, we discovered there was a staff room located directly beneath ours, which made the stay quite unpleasant. When we contacted the staff, they initially told us this couldn’t be the case. Only after insisting did they admit there might indeed be such a room and said they would check. They offered to move us to another room, but it was of lower quality than the one we had booked, and overall it felt like they weren’t really trying to make us feel comfortable. The rooms themselves are nicely designed, but not very practical or comfortable. Because of the rain, the bathroom got wet and dirty easily. At the end of our second day, we found that our room hadn’t been cleaned at all, which made us decide to leave the hotel early. The hotel restaurant wasn’t great either, though the service there was nice — we preferred eating outside instead. The hotel shuttle service was also quite poor and disorganized. On the positive side, the pool area and the beach were pleasant.
We had a rather disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment we entered our (upgraded) room, we heard constant talking noises coming from an unclear source. After some checking, we discovered there was a staff room located directly beneath ours, which made the stay quite unpleasant. When we contacted the staff, they initially told us this couldn’t be the case. Only after insisting did they admit there might indeed be such a room and said they would check. They offered to move us to another room, but it was of lower quality than the one we had booked, and overall it felt like they weren’t really trying to make us feel comfortable. The rooms themselves are nicely designed, but not very practical or comfortable. Because of the rain, the bathroom got wet and dirty easily. At the end of our second day, we found that our room hadn’t been cleaned at all, which made us decide to leave the hotel early. The hotel restaurant wasn’t great either, though the service there was nice — we preferred eating outside instead. The hotel shuttle service was also quite poor and disorganized. On the positive side, the pool area and the beach were pleasant.

Corona hat Thailand und die Tourismusbranche schwer getroffen. 3 Jahre kaum Einnahmen führten zu einem schnellen Verfall der naturnahen Hotelanlage. Ohne Geld konnten die notwendigen Reparaturen nicht durchgeführt werden. Wir kannten die Anlage von einem Besuch in der Vergangenheit. Damals war die Hotelanlage ein perfektes Paradies. Umso trauriger waren wir, als wir den aktuellen Zustand sehen mussten. Nichtsdestotrotz hatten wir eine schöne Zeit. Der Bungalow mit Pool (Hideaway 1210) mit eigenem Pool war gut gelegen und hatte ein schönes openair Badezimmer. Das Bett war super bequem und Pung, unser Zimmermädchen, war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war immer super sauber und gepflegt. Die ganze Anlage liegt herrlich und ruhig mitten im Dschungel. Für Familien mit kleinen Kindern oder Personen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, würden wir die Anlage nicht empfehlen. Partygänger kommen hier auch nicht auf ihre Kosten Überhaupt reißt der tolle Service und die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter vieles wieder raus. Wir haben uns daher sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war lecker und großzügig. Aber 5 Sterne hat die Anlage aktuell noch nicht wieder. Maximal 3 Sterne. Der Fitnessraum ist außer Betrieb und es müssen noch einige Reparaturen erfolgen, bis das Hotel wieder in altem Glanz erstrahlt. Wir glauben aber daran, dass das geschafft werden kann. Aktuell wird überall gearbeitet, es kommen wieder Gäste und damit auch wieder das dafür notwendige Kapital.

Das Hotel ist in manchen Punkten ein Traum, in anderen wieder nicht. Die Anlage ist wirklich traumhaft schön. Dennoch gibt es einige Schandflecken, die man verstecken sollte, z. B. durch Zäune. Das Frühstück ist super! Unsere Sea View Villa war super schön und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Gott sei Dank bemerkten wir die Kakerlaken erst am letzten Abend, sonst wäre es schrecklich für mich gewesen. Tatsächlich hatten wir sogar eine im Koffer mitgenommen!! Also Achtung! Man lebt aber in völliger Natur, weshalb man dies nicht umgehen kann. Ebenso wenig umgehen kann man den Sound der Natur. Wir konnten tatsächlich keine Nacht schlafen weil Vögel und andere Tiere sooo laut sind. Der Strand ist nicht einladend. Man muss durch einen mit rostigem Stacheldraht bestückten Weg gehen, wenn man zum nächsten Strand und zu dem kleinen Dorf möchte. Für mich für ein 5 Sterne Hotel ein NO GO! Da könnte man mit so wenig so viel mehr Sicherheit schaffen (z. B. Shuttle). Was cool war: Im Hotel konnte man via App Speisen und Getränke an seinen Platz bestellen (auch ins Zimmer!). Was nicht cool war: Die Preise! Und die Qualität sowie Sauberkeit einiger Gläser. Uns hat leider kein Essen richtig gut geschmeckt und von den Getränken war nur der Banana Shake okay. Ein Essen habe ich zurückgehen lassen, woraufhin ein riesen Tumult entstand - dies sorgte bei mir für Unwohlsein. Absolutes Plus: Der private Speedboat Shuttle nach Samui! Ich würde dennoch eines der beiden anderen großen Hotels buchen.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage. Unsere Poolvilla war ein Traum.(1303) Bin kein Sonnenanbeter und durch die Bäume hatte ich viel Schatten. Das Zimmerpersonal war toll. Täglich eine super gründliche Reinigung.Wasserflaschen waren jeden Tag wieder Volle da. Das Frühstück bietet eine sehr große Auswahl. Wer hier etwas beanstandet, kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Als kleinen Tip: Es steht immer viel Personal zur Begrüßung da. Vielleicht könnte sich mal Einer zum Kaffeeautomaten stellen und den Urlaubern bei der Bedienung helfen. Viele waren völlig überfordert, nur weil die Milch alle war. Bei dem Verbrauch wären größere Milchbehälter von Vorteil. Die Hotelanlage ist ein Tropenparadies. Es fahren zwar Shuttlebusse über die Anlage, aber trotzdem sollte man durch die vielen Treppen gut zu Fuß sein. Der Hoteleigene Strand ist klein, aber trotz schlechter Bewertungen wurde er bei uns täglich gereinigt. Bei dem Kletterweg über die Felsen zum Nachbarstrand wurde jetzt auch die Beleuchtung installiert und der von einigen erwähnte Stachedraht ist durch Stahlseile ersetzt, In den Restaurants schmeckt das Essen super. Klar kann man die Preise nicht mit den Straßenessen vergleichen. Zusammengefasst kann man sagen, daß es für uns traumhaft war. Viele Tiere vor der Tür( kleine Schlange, Echsen, Vögel), Die die meisten Leute garnicht bemerkt haben. Wer auf ein 5-Sterne Hotel mit dem Standart von Deutschland hofft ist hier definitiv falsch! Vielen Dank für die wunderschönen Tage.

Beautiful hotel located on a cliff with a nice private beach and amazing two pools, one on the beach and another one up on the hill (recommended for swimmers!). Breakfast is excellent, the service in from the hotel staff is even better :-) The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the village, except the exit from the hotel which is dark at night and requires a little climbing the walk is easy. The hotel rooms are old, but well maintained in most cases

Lovely property with great staff. The rooms are gorgeous, traditional design. The only negatives being some of the rotting woodwork, such as the sunbed boats, and railing round the main restaurant. Whilst there has been a general lack of upkeep there, Santhiya is still a lovely property for peace and quiet and id recommend it !

We stayed in two different villas during our 5 day stay. The first was the Junior villa with pool and o have to say, on arrival we were terribly disappointed. The villa itself was great but the view was on to our neighbours broken semi repaired roof. However, on a sea view villa becoming available 3 days later..my goodness! I don’t think we’ve stayed anywhere as spectacular. Both villas were so beautifully crafted and Thai in feel but that view! Shane it wasn’t what we ordered on arrival. The resort itself is lovely. The staff ever so attentive and walking distance to the village. I think my only suggestion would be that the two separate restaurants on the property, should serve different menus. It would also be great if the hotel organised the excursions it advertises. But…I would say they are minor details when staying in the secure villa with that view and our private pool! Highly recommend.

Beautifully well thought of and very comfortable layout, set up of the room as well as all amenities and furniture within it. Beautiful surrounding landscape (even though requiring some upgrade and maintenance). Friendly, helpful and professional staff.

Smukt hotel med en god stemning. Fantastisk udsigt fra "Ocean view" værelser ved saltvands poolen. En smule slidte værelser. Virkelig høj service. Lidt isoleret hotel. Perfekt til afslapning og at komme helt ned i gear. Vil vil klart anbefale dette hotel. Det er en meget god oplevelse. Maden er en lille smule kedelig, men 5 minutter i taxa ligger en lille by med restauranter, 7/11 og massage. Priserne er meget høje på hotellet. Men fair, det er det hele værd.

Beautiful property. Really unique and special. The buggies around the property are really efficient so being on the hill is not an issue - just amazing views. Staff in restaurants are amazing and food options are good value and delicious. Staff in reception not very good. You do not feel there is anyone in charge. Check in process is poor. Rooms are dark. Beach not as nice as many on the island.

Fabulous place to stay! Convenient shuttle that can take you around the resort. Short walk to the beach and local restaurants and shops. Villa was a dream - clean, spacious and an amazing view. I ended up extending my stay and will definitely be back again!

Vi blev meget skuffet over vores ophold, da vi havde høje forventninger til dette angiveligt 5 stjernet hotel. Da vi ankom, blev vi bedt om at vente i et rum der var beskidt og der lå brugte tallerkener osv. på bordet, som ikke var ryddet op. Receptionisten var ikke særlig god til engelsk og vi blev ikke introduceret til noget som helst. Vi blev direkte ført hen til værelset. På vej til værelset, spurgte vi selv ind til faciliteterne såsom morgenmad, restauranter, strand, fitness, roomservice. Nogle af spørgsmålene havde receptionisten ikke svar på. Værelset var rigtig fint og vi havde en fantastisk udsigt. Vi havde et stort værelse med store glasvinduer hele vejen igennem. Disse vinduer var ikke pudset, hvilket ødelagde udsigten fra værelset af. Det var fint fra terrassen. Badekaret var beskidt, men poolen ren. Vi ringede til receptionen og der gik 10 min før de tog opkaldet. De fortalte os at de ville pudse vinduerne, men det skete aldrig. Dernæst ville vi bestille mad via roomservice, hvor QR koden ikke virkede. Det fik vi løst og da maden kom, var det tydeligt en frysepizza. Det benægtede personalet. Vi tog på restaurant den næste dag, og menukortet var akkurat det samme som roomservice. Igen frysemad. Hvordan kan man gøre det på et 5 stjernet hotel. Det er simpelthen ikke i orden. Hotellet lever i den grad ikke op til 5 stjerner og er ikke pengene værd.

We were really looking forward to our stay at Santhiya Koh Phangan, but unfortunately the experience fell far short of expectations. The biggest disappointment was the customer service, which lacked the warm Thai hospitality we’ve come to know and love throughout our travels in Thailand. The property itself has potential, but the service overshadowed any positives. Small issues quickly turned into big frustrations because of the lack of attentiveness and care from the team. At this level of resort, we expected friendly, proactive service that made us feel taken care of, but instead we left feeling let down. Please, please make sure you do your research in other hotels in area first. We paid for a pool suite and it no where near reflected the cost we paid. Staff were rude, cold - app didn\'t work to book anything. We were directed to self serve upon arrival for a "welcome drink" and given a cloth in a plastic bag and told to check ourselves in. Truly couldn\'t believe the quality provided vs paid. Much nicer hotels in the area despite the grounds being beautiful

Although there was a serious tropical storm warning on the 20th July for Koh Phangan/Koh Samui, the hotel did a boat transfer of 19 hotel guests!!! According to the hotel, there should be some rain but the sea should be calm, they said, when I asked hours before leaving with the boat. The boattrip was a pure nightmare, which we only survived with great luck! How could this boattrip be done with a weather forecast, that showed very bad conditions already Hours in advance!!! For 10 days I have now tried to get an explanation from the hotel and an idea, how to avoid such a scenario for the future. Furthermore: there was no safety instructions made and first the employes on the boat, while they laughed, gave me a lifejacket for kids! Most of my questions to the hotel have now purely been ignored. This hotel is unfortunately not at all interested in it’s guests. What a shame Santhiya! Beautiful location. Villa with private pool was spectacular with a fabulous view. The main pool was also lovely. The resort is showing signs of wear, some attention needed to maintenance. A few things were not functioning in our room, they were quickly set right -but the suite was clearly not thoroughly checked. The resort tried to nickel and dime us for every little thing though. (Charging us £50 for a "late" check out of only an extra two hours seemed extortionate given occupancy so low and the length and cost of our stay). The management team in reception are not empowered to be flexible it seems. The cost of their excursions, food and transport options were also really high compared to what you will find a short walk down the beach. The food quality was not that great either. We ate outside the resort most of the time. Overall, beautiful place with very friendly staff. Just eat in the town / on the beach and use local options for excursions and transport.

I stayed in one of its villa. I like the traditional Thai decor style of the resort. The overall experience feels authentic and natural, although maybe not most fashionable. I also enjoyed the free Muey Thai class offered. However, I find service / communication often not very smooth. Although given a WhatsApp number, it is rarely checked by the staffs, nor receive in-time response. Some requests, like ferry booking detail, often need to be re-confirmed several times to get it right. Rules are often quite inflexible, that makes the trip less enjoyable. For example, if your flight is delayed, there's no way you can leave your luggage in their ferry port for too long --- and no alternative solution is provided.

- The wooden effect of the rooms and the hotel generally creates quite a gloomy effect. The rooms generally just felt a bit dated - The beach is not ideal for swimming in. Short beach and rocky. - We had a very disappointing lunch at by the sea - two mediocre club sandwiches. Generally the food selection pretty poor. - The hotel offers a WhatsApp service to communicate with them. It’s a bit of a waste of time because they take ages to respond (at least 20-30 mins was standard) and they would also read messages and not respond? The phone in our room didn’t work so we were forced to communicate with them this way. We ended up always walking from our rooms for this reason even though the hotel offers a buggy transport service. - The direct boat transfer from the hotel to and from Samui appears to be a lie. It was not particularly windy when we were staying yet adverse winds was stated as the reason as to why no boat transfer occurred during the time of our stay. Instead you need to cross the island on a van and take a boat to and from Samui from the south coast of Ko Phangan. This is of course fine but the transfer is not advertised in this way. We did however see a boat transfer happen at one of the neighbouring hotels in the village, so the wind didn’t seem to be a problem for other neighbouring hotels. The pier at the hotel seems to be in bad repair. - The hotel advise you allow 30-60 minutes to check out which seems a bizarrely long length of time.

Overall, this property was lovely and beautiful. But it was hard to leave the property without having a car or motor bike rented for my stay. Even to get to the very close small village, it was very difficult to get a taxi service and when I did, it was very expensive.

Very nice resort with beautiful wooden carvings, extremely friendly staff, nice location, easy walking distance to restaurants in the next village. Otherwise quite far away and located in a very calm area. Perfect for a relaxing and quiet vacation.

Das Hotel und viele Bewertungen machen im Internet einen paradiesischen Eindruck. Die Realität sieht leider ganz anders aus. Die gesamte Anlage ist total in die Jahre gekommen und renovierungsbedürftig. Das gilt auch für den Bootsanleger. Die Boote legen anders als versprochen nicht direkt beim Hotel an, sondern am Hafen auf der Insel. Beworbene Freizeitangebote sind nicht existent. Das Fitnessstudio ist dauerhaft geschlossen. Die Liegen im Strandbereich sind alles andere als einladend und sollten dringend ausgetauscht werden. Vernünftige Handtücher werden für die Liegen leider auch nicht zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Auf der Hotelanlage gibt es sehr viele Moskitos. Des Weitern leben auf der Hotelanlage mehrere (wilde?) Hunde, was ein absolutes No Go ist. Die Hunde rennen über die Anlage und bellen teilweise die ganze Nacht durch. Wer Berührungsängste mit Reptilien hat, der sollte das Hotel meiden. Durch die Dächer können einige ungebetene Gäste in das Zimmer gelangen. Wir hatten eine größere Echse im Zimmer, wodurch wir aus dem Schlaf gerissen wurden. Unterstützung vom Personal? Fehlanzeige! Es war keiner bereit das Tier aus dem Zimmer zu entfernen. Unsere Ängste wurden nicht ernstgenommen. Dies führte dazu, dass der Aufenthalt vorzeitig abgebrochen wurde. Wir raten von dem Hotel dringend ab!

Selve hotellet ligger i et isoleret/lukket område i idylliske og luksuriøse omgivelser, med masser af ‘jungle’ og hyggelige små veje, der forbinder hotelhytterne/værelseskomplekserne, hvor man kan blive kørt rundt af hotellets små shuttle busser. Skøn restaurant og stor overdækket strandbar, begge med fantastisk havudsigt og sød venlig service overalt. Fin pool og liggestole lige ud til privat strand. Sand og strand hørende til hotellet ikke særlig lækkert, sandet er nærmere grus end sand. Vi fandt hurtigt ud af, at man nemt kunne gå over (2 min gang) og bade på nabostranden, hvor sandet er helt fint og vandet lækkert. Her finder man også mange små hyggelige restauranter og barer med lækker thai-mad til 1/4 del af den pris, man betaler på hotellet. Sengen var meget hård at sove på, men hotellet var meget søde/hjælpsomme og fik lagt en blød topmadras ovenpå, som hjalp.

Smukt hotel med en god stemning. Fantastisk udsigt fra "Ocean view" værelser ved saltvands poolen. En smule slidte værelser. Virkelig høj service. Lidt isoleret hotel. Perfekt til afslapning og at komme helt ned i gear. Vil vil klart anbefale dette hotel. Det er en meget god oplevelse. Maden er en lille smule kedelig, men 5 minutter i taxa ligger en lille by med restauranter, 7/11 og massage. Priserne er meget høje på hotellet. Men fair, det er det hele værd.

Great place to stay if you want a relaxing holiday to chill out and do very little. We did have a laugh at the old school music playlist that was on repeat so we did nearly know what song was next by the end of the week. Breakfast was great! Great variety. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Very responsive on WhatsApp for anything we needed. The food ordering system in restaurants and in the room via qr codes was great. Small beach which wasn’t the best to sunbathe on if you wanted to lie on the sand but over a bit of rockery you could access the larger beach beside it with access to a wider variety of cafes and restaurants.

Beautiful hotel located on a cliff with a nice private beach and amazing two pools, one on the beach and another one up on the hill (recommended for swimmers!). Breakfast is excellent, the service in from the hotel staff is even better :-) The hotel is 10 minutes walk from the village, except the exit from the hotel which is dark at night and requires a little climbing the walk is easy. The hotel rooms are old, but well maintained in most cases

We had a rather disappointing stay at this hotel. From the moment we entered our (upgraded) room, we heard constant talking noises coming from an unclear source. After some checking, we discovered there was a staff room located directly beneath ours, which made the stay quite unpleasant. When we contacted the staff, they initially told us this couldn’t be the case. Only after insisting did they admit there might indeed be such a room and said they would check. They offered to move us to another room, but it was of lower quality than the one we had booked, and overall it felt like they weren’t really trying to make us feel comfortable. The rooms themselves are nicely designed, but not very practical or comfortable. Because of the rain, the bathroom got wet and dirty easily. At the end of our second day, we found that our room hadn’t been cleaned at all, which made us decide to leave the hotel early. The hotel restaurant wasn’t great either, though the service there was nice — we preferred eating outside instead. The hotel shuttle service was also quite poor and disorganized. On the positive side, the pool area and the beach were pleasant.

Das Hotel besticht auf den ersten Blick durch sein traumhaftes Design und eine wirklich unschlagbare Aussicht. Die Wege könnten sicherer und klarer gestaltet werden, um Unfälle zu vermeiden. Das Spa-Angebot war grundsätzlich vorhanden, jedoch überwiegend kostenpflichtig oder nur mit Aufpreis nutzbar. Die Thai-Architektur und die Atmosphäre vor Ort vermitteln sofort ein luxuriöses Gefühl, das einfach unschlagbar ist. Allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die für ein Luxus-Spa-Resort enttäuschend waren. Das Frühstück war leider nur ausreichend und bot nicht die Vielfalt, die man bei dieser Kategorie erwarten würde. Hier wäre eindeutig mehr Auswahl wünschenswert. Auch das Thema Sicherheit beim Überqueren des öffentliches Strandes ließ zu wünschen übrig. Die Wege könnten sicherer und klarer gestaltet werden, um Unfälle zu vermeiden. Das Spa-Angebot war grundsätzlich vorhanden, jedoch überwiegend kostenpflichtig oder nur mit Aufpreis nutzbar. Beautiful location. Villa with private pool was spectacular with a fabulous view. The main pool was also lovely. The resort is showing signs of wear, some attention needed to maintenance. A few things were not functioning in our room, they were quickly set right -but the suite was clearly not thoroughly checked. The resort tried to nickel and dime us for every little thing though. (Charging us £50 for a "late" check out of only an extra two hours seemed extortionate given occupancy so low and the length and cost of our stay). The management team in reception are not empowered to be flexible it seems. The cost of their excursions, food and transport options were also really high compared to what you will find a short walk down the beach. The food quality was not that great either. We ate outside the resort most of the time. Overall, beautiful place with very friendly staff. Just eat in the town / on the beach and use local options for excursions and transport.

Stunningly beautiful resort in the rainforest. We had a pool room in hotel 4 which was unbelievable. Staff is 10/10, breakfast buffet is amazing and there are many restaurant in the resort to enjoy. Will be returning and absolutely recommend.

Loved it! Beautiful property with a very unique feel. High-end jungle retreat with fabulous Thai style villas. Villas were beautifully appointed and every little detail was thought of. Property was extremely unique and well manicured. Pool was fab and had a beautiful private beach. Little tug tug trucks transported you all around the property. Food was excellent and well priced. Loved everything about this place except check-in and check-out was a little lengthy and annoying. No big deal though. I would go back. It was a highlight of my stay in Thailand.

Great place to stay if you want a relaxing holiday to chill out and do very little. We did have a laugh at the old school music playlist that was on repeat so we did nearly know what song was next by the end of the week. Breakfast was great! Great variety. Staff were so lovely and friendly. Very responsive on WhatsApp for anything we needed. The food ordering system in restaurants and in the room via qr codes was great. Small beach which wasn’t the best to sunbathe on if you wanted to lie on the sand but over a bit of rockery you could access the larger beach beside it with access to a wider variety of cafes and restaurants.

- The wooden effect of the rooms and the hotel generally creates quite a gloomy effect. The rooms generally just felt a bit dated - The beach is not ideal for swimming in. Short beach and rocky. - We had a very disappointing lunch at by the sea - two mediocre club sandwiches. Generally the food selection pretty poor. - The hotel offers a WhatsApp service to communicate with them. It’s a bit of a waste of time because they take ages to respond (at least 20-30 mins was standard) and they would also read messages and not respond? The phone in our room didn’t work so we were forced to communicate with them this way. We ended up always walking from our rooms for this reason even though the hotel offers a buggy transport service. - The direct boat transfer from the hotel to and from Samui appears to be a lie. It was not particularly windy when we were staying yet adverse winds was stated as the reason as to why no boat transfer occurred during the time of our stay. Instead you need to cross the island on a van and take a boat to and from Samui from the south coast of Ko Phangan. This is of course fine but the transfer is not advertised in this way. We did however see a boat transfer happen at one of the neighbouring hotels in the village, so the wind didn’t seem to be a problem for other neighbouring hotels. The pier at the hotel seems to be in bad repair. - The hotel advise you allow 30-60 minutes to check out which seems a bizarrely long length of time.

Lovely place, generally a good experience. Loved walking over to the main beach over the headland which is a really easy walk. The sand and water is much nicer on that main beach. Food was pretty good, crazy they didn’t have any stir fried green dishes on the menu tho!!! Resort was well kept, room was great, love the style of this resort. Would definitely go back.
