We chose this hotel for a two-night stay after our cruise, and it worked out beautifully. The location is excellent for getting around downtown on foot, and the staff were incredibly cheery and accommodating. The hotel actually has a great infrastructure for cruise travelers—they offer secure luggage storage if you want to explore the city before check-in, and they can easily arrange third-party shuttles right to the cruise ports. The rooms are large and the beds are comfy. The breakfast setup is basic (frozen items you microwave yourself), but it's free and gets the job done. A high-value stay that made our travel logistics seamless!

Room - perfect size for a party of 2 or a young family. Location - great central location close to monorail, needle and shopping facilities Breakfast - we forgot we had booked this, the breakfast is sufficient enough to fuel yourself in the morning with coffees, toast and cereal. There are microwaveable options there. Gym - small but had dumbbells probably room for no more than two individuals at a time.

The best word to describe this hotel is satisfactory. The premises, the rooms and furniture are very outdated and in need of refurbishment or replacement. For example, the couch in the room had no cushion left and sank in when we sat on them. The staff does their best to keep it as clean as they can, but lots of things just need to be replaced. Their online check-in system does not seem to be in sync with the check in desk. I pre- registered online with the ID requirements as requested in their email, supposedly to make an easy check in process. I only needed to pick up keys to the room upon arrival. However, my key didn't work because my room had been inadvertently given away as a replacement to another guest who wanted a different room, so my key didn't work. I went back downstairs and was told that they no longer had rooms with two queen beds so I had to take a single king, even though I specifically ordered and paid for two queens. Not sure how this can happen. All this being said, I won't bash this hotel with below average ratings since it appears the staff are trying hard.
