I highly recommend the Siesta hotel that was built a few months ago. It’s in a perfect location, 1 min from Bakirkoy metro station, right next to the big mall, many shops, restaurants, coffee/tea shops, currency exchange locations. It’s very safe and vibrant environment in the neighborhood. The hotel has an elevator which is rare in this area. Some hotels around only have stairs. They clean the room daily and bring fresh sets of towels. My room was on the 2d floor or in their system 1st and I often could feel the smoke inside the room. Perhaps, it was coming from outside. I suggest to request a room on higher floors. The staff speaks Turkish, English and Russian. Very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be returning back.

It is a simple but clean hotel close to metro, restaurants and shopping malls. The front desk staff was very nice- they upgraded us to a better room, shared ideas for good places to eat, reserved taxi to airport and made sure that we wake up early morning to catch our flight. The issues we had were a) noise- our neighbors had a late nite argument in their room and it got a bit loud. Somebody else had their TV on very late and we could hear it; b) the cleaning chemical they use for their elevator or lobby had a strong smell. Not sure what they use but I could feel it in the room and it gave me a headache.

My room had a window, but it faced a shaft. There was hardly any fresh air in the room. It was not possible to keep the window open at night because it was far too loud due to the air conditioning units that were installed there. So I had to use the air conditioning in November. But it had to be repaired first.

Heavy traffic area but very convenient if you don’t have a car. Parking is a challenge. However there is a parking spot about 5$ a day right behind the building. Cool small hotel. Loved it with my family

We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and comfortable the room was. We have traveled in Turkey a lot and finding a nice room in this price range has been a challenge. I stayed here for 2 weeks. I never had an issue, quite the opposite, we really enjoyed our stay here. It took us a week to try to find the right place and we are very happy we decided to stay at Siesta. The train station was a 2 minute walk, but yet could hear nothing! Everything worked fine as well. Also, the receptionist lady, really was so so nice! I loved the fact that she could speak English as well. Thank you for everything 😊
