Parking was 45$ we didn’t know it was that expensive but we paid it. (Valet is same price). Bed was very hard. Front desk seemed annoyed when in the morning we STILL got 200$ in parking tickets, hotel reversed them. Prob won’t stay again.

Easy check in, clean room. A view of the parking lot which wouldn't really matter (or be notable) until we were woken up by a garbage truck doing garbage truck things before sunrise. Super awesome. Enjoyed a walk in the river valley once we got rolling. Would return but the $45 parking charge is annoying and seems excessive for Edmonton. Just saying.

Good hotel, it needs some upgrades as some things were obvious such as a loose shower fitting, the toilet flush mechanism didn't work after a few use, the main elevator was out of commission on our stay (had to use the service elevator) the large room with the two queen beds looked empty. However it was good an convenient, good place to stay if going to a downtown function.

The room was good. But beware of the parking fees. They are outrageous. We got there at 9 pm, and thought we were covered until checkout. The $15 only covered 2 hours for parking in their parking lot. The under ground is $45. Not sure if this covers the whole night, or just 2 hours. Fines are $100. What a ripoff! Not staying here ever again!

20 minute wait to check in. Room had an empty tissue box and when I went to take a shower there was no body wash in the shower. It was obviously not properly cleaned before I arrived. The door to the room was wide open when I arrived also. The parking at the hotel is $45 for self parking, per day, and it isn’t even covered or monitored. That is more expensive than any hotel I have ever stayed in. I was also very disappointed with my view. For a hotel on the river valley, I didn’t expect my view on the second floor to be of a parking lot, next to the hotel. No city view, No river view. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

Very disappointed from our last stay here, had to change the stained dirty sheets upon arrival. Floor wasn’t vacuumed as well. People were allowed to party until 3-4am despite our multiple calls to front desk, in the morning we were told sorry but it was a wedding party?! Usually the Marriot puts up a better effort.

We did not eat breakfast here. I was disappointed as we stay at this Marriott fairly frequently and have always had a positive experience. This time there were a few things that I did not enjoy. The king bed in our room was terrible! There were 2 large indents where the mattress springs have worn out making it very uncomfortable. There was someones dirty sock left by the bed. The water for showering was luke warm and intermittent pressure. For over $200/night I expect better than that. I will rethink booking here again.

The room was filthy, dirt in every corner, bathroom had hair and dirt in every corner. Air conditioning was broken, maintenance staff had already gone home just after check in. Overall it did not have the feel of a typical Marriot Experience

A convenient location. We got a nice large corner room with river views from every window including the huge bathroom. The hotel is older but clean. Beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. However, the room is in need of some maintenance and repairs. A cracked window, loose ceiling grate, door hook in the bathroom was so loose we were afraid to use it. Staff was great, friendly and efficient. Beautiful views from the dining room. Buffet breakfast was ok, your usual hotel buffet breakfast, nothing spectacular.

Check in took over 30 min yes I understand it was busy but three people in front of us and over 30min. Guest after guest coming back down as their room keys they just received were not working or the got keys to a room other people were already staying in! Once we arrived in our room it was freezing we tried multiple times to get the heat working and it would not go over 19 degrees. They are due for some maintenance as the shower leaked all over the floor and the bed needs replacing.

Clean and renovated hotel. We were in the river view room and it was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I have been to. The view was breathtaking even in third floor room that we were in. Definitely will come back and strongly recommended. Two small downsides to be fair, the indoor parking was height limited and the entrance was VERY small, we opted to park outside even though the price was the same. Also the buffet breakfast was good, but could really be better and have more variety considering the price.

The premium internet kept forgetting my devices and is not worth it. Luckily the free internet was sufficient. I complained at checkout and they removed the internet charges for premium access. So they fixed the problem and kudos for that.

They are totally in kahoots with the private parking company right out front. I was ask where I had parked. I said the one right out front. I was not was not asked for my plate number. I received a ticket, despite paying the max daily rate of 45 dollars and because I hadn’t informed the desk my plate number, I had to pay an additional 45 dollars. I had also booked a room for two people. It showed on my booking that I had “free breakfast”. When I checked in, I only received one “free breakfast” voucher, that is only redeemable for one person. Scam.

I love the location. It is still afordable to stay at. Very few choices for a great hotel in downtown Edmonton. Very nice hotel. Amazing views of yhe river valley. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Liked the location. Our event was at the convention centre, very handy. Homeless people in the area are slobs and throw garbage everywhere. Is this not a crime. Garbage cans are located in area, they just do not use them.

This hotel was amazing! So helpful whenever I had questions. Valet parking was so convenient. I would stay here and recommend to anyone who is looking for a great location downtown Edmonton. The restaurant was great we ate later in the evening but they had great options as well as delicious drinks!

The location was great if you are going to Commonwealth Arena for a concert. We actually had food poisoning from the breakfast buffet. Unfortunately we were woken up at 730am after going to a Metallica concert the night before and asked how our breakfast was and when we told them they had nothing to say. Customer service was really bad and will not be staying there again.

The room was clean and had a good view. The room is a little small but overall good. My only issue is that the menu for the hotel is limited and pricey. Mocktails are the same price as a regular drink. Which is crazy because more and more places are having non-alcoholic options for people who chose not to drink.

The included breakfast is barely edible unfortunately. Tried it two mornings in a row, both times very cold, everything was tough, chewy, fresh options seemed to be sitting out a long time.
