Stayed 5 nights

Since the home didn't have air conditioning you would think the windows would stay up to let in fresh air. We had to improvise and put pots under them to hold them up. The windows were horrendously dirty! The one window in the living room was broken and taped together. Many light fixtures only had a few light bulbs working, and many were even missing. The stove had 3 burners that were broken and bent. The kitchen tap moved every time you went to turn on the water. There was only salt and pepper on site. Most places we've stayed had at least sugar, spices, coffee, tea bags. There were no wash clothes. The paint was chipped on most walls. The back porch had boards missing so that it was unsafe to walk on. The back yard had an old bathtub in it amid all the weeds. What was good was the location. It was within walking distance of the boardwalk. I would not recommend this location for the price we paid for it.

A nice place to stay for a few nights in a good location. Overall, I’d stay again, but a few things could be improved. On the plus, it was clean and easy to get in and out. The wifi needs a booster to reach all the rooms. One of the bedrooms didn’t have a functioning lock or latch, so one person’s door couldn’t effectively shut for privacy. There were mouse traps throughout, which is expected in old houses, but not everyone will be ok with this and there was no instructions on what to do if they caught the mouse. The pigeons mating outside the windows at 5am was noisy enough to wake up one of the guests. The price was ok, as a sail competition was going on and it was still cheaper for three people to stay here rather than in a hotel.

This was a great place close to downtown. Although we recommend this place there is only really 3 bedrooms one with a king, queen and a single bed. There is a pullout bed in the living room which is not convenient. What is called a 4th bedroom has a sectional sofa that makes it hard to get in the room and would not be a great place to sleep. Excellent support from management!! Thank you for everything!!
