Lobby was under renovation and was blocked off. My 'breakfast included' was a granola bar and an orange, no coffee or even water. I'm sure it would have been fun to try to eat an orange in my car, then have sticky hands. Check in was done on a folding table near the elevators. No mention at all of this during booking.

We had stayed here before and it was nice so we booked again. This time we didn’t have quite as good of an experience. The phone in the room wasn’t working. They didn’t clean our room the one day they were supposed to and I had to ask for service. The side door that was only supposed to be key card access was broken. The room was comfortable. The staff was nice.

One of the two elevators was out of order, which was scary to see, and the other took an interminably long time to come and I heard from other people staying at the hotel that it too got stuck a few times. The air conditioner sounded like a 737 taking off, and there were people screaming and running up and down the halls all night long. I will say that the room was clean and the front desk staff were personable.

After checking in, we were told to take the steps to our 3rd floor room, since both elevators were out of order. When we reached our room, the door was ajar, though nothing appeared to be disturbed. We had to be up early on Sunday morning and discovered that the shower was broken. There was no hot water. The front desk was helpful. Since they couldn't fix our shower quickly, we were offered use of a first floor room for showering. One elevator was working by then, but after waiting 5 minutes, had to walk down the stairs to shower. My husband had the same experience. The toilet ran all night. Had to go to breakfast in shifts, because the door would not lock from the outside, only from the inside. We ended up being 40 minutes late for a baby shower for our 1st grandchild, and we were supposed to be there early to help set up. Really disrupted every one's day. I am so disappointed in Hampton Inn. I know they have done some recent renovations, but this was ridiculous. It was obvious that the shower had been repaired before but it didn't work. There was duct tape on the first floor entry door. The owner / manager of this property should be ashamed.

Only one elevator working. Coat hanger in room was falling off wall. Shower was Luke warm. Breakfast was empty at 8am. I expected better quality from a Hampton Inn since they are supposed to be equal in quality compared to other hotels.

I liked the location of the property. I didn’t like that the breakfast buffet wasn’t kept clean and the counters were a mess. The man kept coming out of the kitchen, but never wiped off the counters. I didn’t like that in my room(326) the build up all around the air conditioner wasn’t kept clean. Filthy, health hazard.

Staff was absolutely wonderful while dealing with aggressive customers and being short staffed. They remained professional and smiling with us and other customers staying at Hampton Inn. The doors to the rooms need worked. We could hear EVERYTHING outside our door because there were gaps between doorframe and doors. We could see out into the hallway and are pretty sure anyone wanting to could see inside our room. Shower looked like it needed a lot of work, black mold in the corners is never a good thing. No matter how often staff cleans it, it will return until it is properly taken care of. We didn’t feel safe enough to use the shower. Hampton Inns are a part of Hilton Worldwide, so it’s a real shame that this organizations (currently $151 in stock shares) has no pride in their buildings and reputations. The fact that there is so much wrong with this building and staff are left to deal with angry customers over legit issues such as this with no apparent support from their employer is sadder still. It’s no wonder people don’t want to work in such an environment. Hilton Worldwide, fix your buildings and respect your employees.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a restful night. The walls are paper thin—you can hear everything happening in the rooms next to you, from conversations to TVs and even people moving around. It felt like there was no soundproofing at all. To make matters worse, the in-room phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t even call the front desk to complain or ask for help. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be staying here again.

We couldn’t get Live TV in either of our rooms. The decor is as basic, bland, gloomy and cheap as you can get. On the good side, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

I was originally in room 317, and the Dark shade was Not in place and I got in around 11:45 pm on Friday Night. Every time that I turned over the Extremely Bright Light from the Outside Parking Lot, Woke Me Up. The front desk did move me down to Room 217, where the DARK Shade was properly installed.

When we checked in after 3:00 p.m., we were told our room would not be ready. We got a sing-song-story about people not wanting to work, and there were only 3 people available to clean 70 rooms. We were also told that because we booked on Hotels.com (Expedia) that we would be one of the last get our rooms. Once my husband pulled out his DIAMOND status with Hilton, we were finally given rooms. We also asked for a room with two queen beds, and we were given a king room with a pull-out couch which was so uncomfortable, and the blanket was like sandpaper. In the middle of the night, someone opened my daughter's hotel room door with a KEY. Luckily she had her door secured and the intruder was not able to get in. The intruder then called her hotel ROOM and demanded that they be let in the room. We will likely not stay here again. Be careful if you do and double latch your doors.

Stayed at this Hampton Inn while visiting relatives. The hotel is convenient to Crocker Park which has a lot of dining and shopping options. Friendly staff, clean rooms, safe and easy parking. Really liked the breakfast too. I'll be back.

When we arrived, they did not have the type of room we booked available and tried to give us a different room (would end up paying more for a lesser room). They said the hotel was completely booked and could not give us the room we paid for. Guy at the desk said it wasn’t his problem because he just started his shift and his manager could not be contacted. Had to call Travelocity to get the room canceled and refunded. Left and went to another hotel. Will not try staying there ever. Staff were terrible and incompetent.

It’s hard to find a good hotel when your traveling east or west on I90/80. I highly recommend this hotel. It’s near some restaurants, gas stations, in a safe area, and has some grassy/woodsy area to walk your dog.

Room was close to the elevators. The elevators were really close to where I parked. This Hampton (in Westlake, Ohio) is really convenient, and is close to shopping and parks and Lake Erie. Kudos to Hampton for having such a clean and friendly and accomodating hotel.

This is a nice hotel set in a wooded area with very good restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. Easy in/ off freeway. The room was clean and furniture was new and modern. Only complaint was shades weren’t totally room darkening and air conditioner/ heater a little on the loud side. Breakfast area was nice and breakfast was good with more options than many other hotels. Would stay again.

Súper nice hotel , I booked 2 rooms with hotels.com and they didn’t seem to know how to search for the 2 room reservation , after 1/2 on the chat with hotels.com it got resolved . The room is super comfy and it is very comfortable the lady heidy at the breakfast bar is super attentive and nice ! Definetely will stay there again hands down .

The customer service was awful, no greeting as I entered the hotel, person ignored me. Upon him actually making an acknowledgement he did not explain status of room availability. Hotel was dirty, breakfast area very dirty from food display to dining tables.

Would highly recommend this Hampton Inn. Location is perfect! The staff is very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast included in the morning. Convenient to be able to get right back onto the turnpike. Will recommend this hotel.
