We really enjoyed our stay at Sonder Apollon. We got an upgrade to the Penthouse floor which included access to a roof terrace, gym and sauna which was amazing. Our room itself had everything we needed. Was super clean and shower was excellent! Locally there were a couple of supermarkets to get provisions and a few places to eat/drink. We got a few beers and took them to the terrace. 8 min walk to the Port, to Notre Dame catherdral and to the nearest metro station.

We really appreciated the location of these modern apartments and subtle, classy furnishings. We found it very clean and appreciated being able to replenish stock at our convenience. We enjoyed the fitness centre and its views! And appreciated that we could sit on the terrace when we wanted to.

Very nice place. Looks new inside, nice location in old Montreal. Only negative is no parking and lot beside is sketchy. Have to drive a bit to get underground parking.

I traveled a week by myself and the location is great for walking everywhere, even downtown (15 min). It is 20 min to the airport without traffic. Meeting point for the tours are walking distance. The sauna and steam room are beautiful and I also used the gym.

Five stars aren’t enough for this property. Everyone who worked there was kind and helpful. The gym was great, the sauna clean, rooftop space had a great view and comfy furniture. Our room was awesome, clean, modern. Had all the amenities we needed and more. Great location in Old Montreal, super walkable area with lots of great restaurants (go to Tommy’s for breakfast or lunch, you won’t be disappointed). Overall it was an amazing stay and would definitely recommend Sonder. I’ll stay there again for sure!

Our car parked in lot next to Sonder where we were given a ticket by Indigo then a ticket by the city. We misunderstood directions on parking payment machine But we were paying $30 every day. Manager at I dog was very unpleasant and scornful of Americans” I’m treated terribly when I go to New York” This ticket is cheap for you Americans. And our car was broken into on the last night

Great experience. Too bad there isn’t any reliable parking at the hotel or no “deals” with the 2 parking places they suggest are safe (ex: Palais des congrès). $30/overnight stay is a lot!!

A perfect place to stay in Old Mtl. Super clean and quiet. Waking distance to everything. We walked everywhere from the Old Port to Bell Centre. The chat feature is super convenient. Roof top patio and gym is lovely. It felt like a home away from home. Like a modern condo stay. I will always look for Sonder locations when I travel for now on.

We loved our stay at Sonder! This was the second time we've booked here and incredibly got the exact same room as last year. It felt like our own little apartment in Montreal. It's the perfect location for us and would easily stay here again. Only note is that our bedsheet had a slight orangey stain in one spot, and one of the towels had a black mark on it - so just a callout on checking the linens closer prior to check in for guests?

The setup of the room, the furnishings, and style were very well done and thoughtful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, mugs, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, everything that was needed. The staff was friendly and very, very helpful. The location was perfect.

Really enjoyed the property. Rooms and common areas very clean. Staff kindly let us check in early without a charge. Very nice location, walkable in old montreal area. Only downside was hot tub was quite dirty with thick grime around outside so did not want to use. Hotel is also a bit noisy and you can hear hallway/ close room noises while in bedroom. However, this is not even an issue since already provided in room is ear plugs and sound machine. Very nice perk! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice concept. I didn´t like the fact that it took long to close the doors to the building, which were automatic. I always ensured they were closed before moving on, but not sure everyone does that. Also was not clear that I could leave my luggage in those lockers for the day after checking out. I think clarity with that posted in the rooms would be helpful. The refrigerator was quite smelly. I did not like that. Otherwise everything else was great.

Amazing location on the quieter side of Old Montreal. Still some noise as windows are pretty thin but they provide a sound machine and ear plugs which is a nice touch! Gym, sauna and rooftop terrace were great. Beds super comfortable and it was really great having a full kitchen. We will be back

El hotel está muy bonito y remodelado y limpio. El personal muy lindo y servicial. El detalle MUY IMPORTANTE es que nos tocó en 2do piso dando a la calle. Mi habitación no. 215 y tiene una vista a la calle buena. Pero escuchas todo. En verdad es excesivo el ruido que se escuccha. Nosotros no somos delicados para dormir, pero en verdad cualquier persona caminando se escuchaba, y en la madrugada se escuchaba gente caminando. A la 6:00 personas de la construcción que se estacionaban, y en serio se escuchaba TODA la conversación. las ventanas les falta protección para el ruido, sobre todo las habitaciones que están tan expuestas. La de nosotros fue la MÁS EXPUESTA y en verdad esas habitaciones no las deben rentar así. En las habitaciones ya estaban ahí unos tapones para los oídos para el ruido! Pero ni con eso se corregía el ruido. Si no, deberían tener un guardia en la calle que cuide que la gente que pasa no haga ruido en la noche y madrugada, porque en verdad fue muy molesto. El hotel está muy muy bonito y limpio, insisto sólo el ruido era muy insoportable. Si volviera a Montreal no volvería a quedarme ahí.

The PH floor and room was great. Plenty of room and two bathrooms was a plus. The only issue was we were below the gym and the Muppets up there dropping weights from 6am. No signs to ask the Muppets not to drop weights. If you can't lift then don't !!

There was no heating available at the time of year, only aircon. We were supplied with 2 small plug in heaters, only 1 worked. The washing machine didn't work. We stayed for 9 days, no cleaning service. The location is excellent for all things old town. The room was spacious. Our room backed onto the elevator but we couldn't hear it in operation. Staff responded the issues immediately however resolution regarding the issues of heating system and the washing machine was not possible.

Loved this place. It is a combination of something like an Airbnb apartment and a hotel. Great location and walkable to so much in Montreal. The unit was clean and well appointed and comfortable. We had read some reviews that complained about the noise but we made use of the white noise machines provided and didn't notice anything! Great stay and would stay again.

Loved the white noise machines (it could get a little loud on the street below) and the dishwasher for cleaning up. The fridge was a great size too! Could've used extra blankets (for the living room) and a shelf for toiletries with more hooks for towels in the bathroom. Didn't love the open door on the shower because it was hard to stay warm.

The apartment was a great size and comfortably set up. We enjoyed the full kitchen and living room. The bathroom was a great design and everything needed was supplied. The location in old Montreal was perfect and central to everything.

This hotel chain describes itself as a better place to stay. That was not our experience. First, the securing of the booking with Sonder (after booked and paid for, non-refundable, with Expedia) was time-consuming, invasive (with respect to personal information & documentation) & frustrating. And unnecessary: when we arrived, the front desk looked after the usual stuff, e.g., confirming ID. The access to the hotel room is by way of a seven digit code. How is that better than a key card? Our room was noisy. I think it was the windows; even though we were on the 4th floor, there was a great deal of the street noise that came through. We had been given ear plugs when we checked in and there was a noise machine table on the bedside table. So this was clearly an ongoing problem for at least this room. All and all, a disappointing experience.

Fantastic location with a lot of eateries nearby. Self-check-in worked smoothly. The Chat function in the Sonder app made communicating really easy. The storage lockers were a huge plus! Will definitely stay in this hotel again on my next trip to Montreal.

We had the most comfortable stay at Sonder Apollon. The suites were clean, comfortable, and we felt right at home. We especially want to say Victoria at the front desk was awesome. She always greeted us with a smile and was very helpful when guiding us on the local restaurants to check out. Victoria's customer service skills were beyond outstanding.

Really nice place in heart of Montreal. Apartment style room with everything you could need. Kishuk, the front desk person when we checked in, was fabulous. We went to front of building when we should have used back with heavy luggage (email told us this, but didn’t pay attention. He jumped two 50 pound suitcases up the stairs for us. Above and beyond!

The setup of the room, the furnishings, and style were very well done and thoughtful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, mugs, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pans, everything that was needed. The staff was friendly and very, very helpful. The location was perfect.

Great place if you plan on staying a bit longer. Having a kitchen and washing machine/dryer in the apartment was very useful. Dishwasher tabs, Laundry pots, coffee and some other amenities were provided and one floor above the reception was a sideboard where you could find more if needed. My biggest critic point is that there is no automatic cleaning of the rooms during your stay. I understand that it might not be necessary for every day, but after 3 days it should be done automatically. I do like that all doors are simply accessible by entering your six digit code. Makes it very convenient when traveling with others and you don’t have to worry about a key. All in all I did enjoy our stay and would book again.

We enjoyed having two sleeping spaces and a generous sized living room to spread out in. The location was close to fantastic restaurants in old Montreal and walkable to downtown and the old port.

Such a nice place! It felt so homey and was well-equipped to cook, do laundry, live right like you’ve moved to Montreal. It was well-placed for exploring Vieux Montreal. I loved the sleek wellness center with steam shower and sauna, plus an incredible penthouse view.

Highly recommend if you want to stay in the heart of old Montreal. We loved the dry and wet sauna amenities. It felt like we had a spa in our hotel. They provide free coffee in the main lobby in addition to what is provided in the rooms. Great location and great space!

Sonder is awesome! This is one of several hotels in the area. Apartment-style that is modern with all the amenities including full kitchen and washer/dryer. There are also secured lockers to store luggage once checked out, if desired, in the basement. A plethora of good restaurants, cafés and bars in all directions. I highly recommend this peoperty.

Enjoyed having the kitchen and the full sized fridge. It was very quiet and the neighbourhood had lots of restaurants art galleries cafes and food shops. We walked to the Basilica and all our restaurant reservations. Great location and all the amenities we needed.

We had a wonderful stay! The Sonder apartments are spacious and the kitchenette was super helpful so we could make breakfast and lunch. Location is perfect, walking distance to the waterfront and old Montreal dining. We also really enjoyed the eucalyptus steam room in the gym! The only thing I’d recommend is more yoga mats that are new, the ones available are peeling little black pieces and difficult to clean after. There’s also only two, four would be perfect as sometimes they were not available. Also, towels were not always readily available at the essentials closet.

Nice concept. I didn´t like the fact that it took long to close the doors to the building, which were automatic. I always ensured they were closed before moving on, but not sure everyone does that. Also was not clear that I could leave my luggage in those lockers for the day after checking out. I think clarity with that posted in the rooms would be helpful. The refrigerator was quite smelly. I did not like that. Otherwise everything else was great.
