Staying here genuinely felt like staying at a distant relatives home. Distant as in you don't know anything about them but they treat you like family all the same. Breakfast was so good!

We spent the night here after a long tour through Banff. We liked the location and the view was nice (thunderstorms were cool to see from here). The lady that checked us in and made the breakfast was very friendly to my wife and I. We would recommend this B&B.

Highly recommend this place! Warm welcome, very clean, had a great nights sleep followed by an excellent breakfast. Just a warning to anybody that struggles with climbing stairs, there are a lot of steps. but if that's not a problem for you I would definitely recommend it!

Beautiful location and nice home. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had only stayed in one other B&B previously. I was a little uncomfortable and felt like I was intruding in their personal space for the most part. In my previous experience there were common rooms that you were invited to use and socialize but that is not available here. The private bathroom didn't have a window covering which I thought was a bit strange and uncomfortable. Perhaps there was a film on the window that doesn't allow people to see in but forgot to ask. Also the previous location had a guest fridge and beverage area with snacks that was provided that was much appreciated. I wasn't sure if the kitchen was accessible or not but appeared only for the homeowners usage and when I requested some ice for my beverage the male homeowner brought it to my room in his robe which seemed to be a little unprofessional and made me feel awkward as a guest. The owners were polite, friendly & provided a nice freshly baked breakfast in the morning but overall I felt like an awkward houseguest in a stranger's home. Probably not the ideal option for me personally in the future.

Review: Disappointing Stay Due to Lack of Basic Amenities This was a beautiful home in a very convenient location, and we were warmly greeted by the property owner upon arrival. Unfortunately, our experience quickly took a negative turn. After carrying our luggage up two flights of stairs, we were informed there was “a problem” — the B&B had no hot water, and this had already been the case for two days. When I asked whether there was any way to access hot water, my question went unanswered. We were simply told that they were unable to get a technician. There was also no attempt to offer any workaround, such as providing a kettle or a pot of hot water so we could at least clean up. We feel strongly that we should have been informed of this issue in advance and given the option to cancel or receive a refund so we could find alternative accommodations. Additionally, one of the “smart blinds” in our room was not functioning. Although the host attempted to fix it by recharging it, it never worked, and we ultimately had to hang a blanket over the window to ensure privacy. After a 12-hour day of travel, the lack of hot water made our stay extremely uncomfortable — especially when trying to freshen up. Cold showers were far from ideal and certainly not what we expected. Overall, while the property itself is lovely, the lack of communication and failure to address basic guest needs made for a disappointing experience.
