What guests think

At Wescana Inn, reviews describe an older, basic property with generally friendly, accommodating staff, decent value, and an on-site restaurant praised for good food, alongside mixed experiences with room comfort, cleanliness, outside noise, and occasional security concerns.

Rooms are basic and dated; some guests slept well on comfortable beds with hot showers and working Wi-Fi, while others reported cold temperatures, thin walls, or maintenance issues. Check-in and check-out were often smooth, though one review reported a reservation not being honored. Overall, expect a straightforward, no-frills stay in a central spot.

Room was fairly well appointed, coffee maker did not work and I did not have time to give them an opportunity to correct it but I am sure they would have. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and it was fairly quiet in the building and most noise generated came from the outside. No wifi issues and there was a nice desk area and a comfortable chair to rest in the corner. Staff were friendly and I did not have to pay for a glass of pop in the lounge which was noted and appreciated. Their pop machine can use a tune up though. Easiest check in and check out imaginable. Would definitely recommend and will likely stay again in the future.
