What guests think

At Hilton Garden Inn Toronto - Mississauga, travellers repeatedly praise very clean, comfortable rooms and friendly, accommodating staff, with a quiet, convenient base near highways and the airport that works well for business stays and stopovers.

Many reviews also note free, easy parking and useful extras like a small pool, gym, and a patio/fire pit, though restaurant/bar hours can be limited. Common drawbacks include soft or worn mattresses, occasional noise near laundry or hallways, intermittent Wi‑Fi or A/C issues, and housekeeping provided every other day unless requested. The location is car‑dependent and generally quiet, with a few mentions of parking‑lot security concerns. Expect a clean, comfortable, service‑forward stay with better value if you have a car.

The hotel was fine but the property's location was alarmingly bad. Our rented car was vandalized in the parking lot in an attempt to steal it. The window was smashed in and wires pulled in a way that immobilized it. We spent most of the day arranging a replacement and decided not to spend another night there to avoid it happening again. The front desk team was great and promised to refund the prepaid second night. I am disappointed that the refund has still not appeared on my card statement.

The hotel did not inform us that the restaurant or bar were not open on Sunday, for our stay. They do not offer shuttle to airport anymore, as was described in Expedia. Optional food was a drive away and we did not have a car. The hotel is not close to the airport as described. It is actually quite far. All were at extra expense for us.

I travel fairly often and I'm seldom impressed. I'm a clean freak, and I'm amazed with how truly clean the rooms and bathrooms, hallways, laundry room, and common areas all are! The sheets felt new and high quality and the bed was so comfortable I overslept by two hours! Everything seems recently renovated. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. I extended my stay for an extra night.

Hotel was just ok. We stayed for 4 nights. Upon check-in we were asked if we would like daily housekeeping service as they typically only offer it every other day. We said yes, daily service would be great. Our room was cleaned ONCE during our 4 night stay. We had to call and request towels every day. Staff at the front desk were friendly but we wouldn’t go back to this hotel.

The staff are great, very friendly and welcoming. Check in was fast, they dealt with issues fast. The property and rooms are mostly clean and inviting. Beds and linings are very comfortable and room well appointed. Unfortunately they're were some issues with our stay. First off when we got to the room the large chair had very peculiar white stains. Staff came and did their best to clean, but it was still noticeable afterwards. Upon check in I requested that our room be gone over (bed made, fresh towels, etc) each day of our stay and the front desk agent assured me it would, we arrived home late (around 8pm) and our room hadn't been touched. Now the hot water issue, if you want hot water early in the morning be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for it if you're on the 6th floor. We had maintenance come up to the room (very quick and friendly I must add) to show him the issue. In the future i'd most likely choose another Hilton in the area over this location unless theres some improvement especially in the hot water.

I didn’t even want to make this review but a few days ago my plan was to stay at the Hyatt across the parking lot. They were fully booked. Thought “how bad” could a Hilton be. While there were some issues with the room they gave me, the front desk was amazing at switching me rooms. That wasn’t the big deal. The big deal was later in the evening when I went to order some food. They have an open kitchen where you can see the cook. I saw him doing kitchen stuff then going to wash his hands, (rinse then cuz he didn’t use soap) then proceeds to take the paper towel from dying his hands to blow his nose and continued working WHILE LOOKING AT ME LOOKING AT THE MENU waiting to order!! I don’t understand why people choose to work in a service based industry while trying to make the company look bad. And why be a cook if you’re going to be gross, especially in front of an audience. I went across the parking lot and ordered at the usual hotel. While I didn’t see what the cook did, I’m going to assume it wasn’t as disgusting behind closed doors. And if it was, at least I didn’t see it.

Was a quick stay. But room was nice size and clean. My one comment was breakfast was till 10am. I went at 9:40am after a workout and they were out of eggs. I asked if they were making more and they said it would be 15minutes more. Then walked away. I asked again and he said he’d do something, 5 minutes later I see him and he remembers and then goes and gets me some. That exchange was not great, but eventually I did get my eggs.

I would have liked to give five stars, but I forgot one of my skin care product in the bathroom and I called them to check on it. It was an expensive product and they never got back to me. That means they either threw it away or someone took it away without even informing me. They had my phone number in their records to reach me. They never called me back and they did not even hold the product for me.

I like the hotel the only thing that I was disappointed in was getting taken advantage of during dinner. I’ll explain the server came up to me and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted a club sandwich as she’s walking away. She says I’ll throw in some extra cheese and I believe that meant she’s just throwing it in when I looked at the bill, there was an extra four dollars for that cheese. That upset me only because club sandwiches already has cheese so she just tagged on extra expense. That didn’t settle well with me. Obviously I can afford four dollars of cheese. It’s just the principle of not knowing I was gonna get charged for it.
