What guests think

At Days Inn by Wyndham Bridgewater Conference Center, travelers frequently note clean, basic rooms and friendly staff at a convenient location, while also pointing out the property’s age, dated décor, and limitations such as no elevator.

Breakfast is often described as good with hot items, but variety and quality can be inconsistent and the dining room temperature or lighting occasionally detract. Several reviews mention closed or under-renovation amenities like the pool and restaurant/bar, and a small or under-equipped fitness room; laundry is a useful plus. Common drawbacks include noisy heaters or air conditioners, thin walls, occasional odors or maintenance issues, and beds that range from comfortable to worn. Overall, expect a simple, practical stopover with trade-offs.

While the motel was clean it is very dated. I choose it because of pool option and fitness centre- neither are available. The sign for the pool location is actually taped over- the fitness centre will not unlock with your room key and I’m not sure anything is actually in the room. The lady on the desk was nice but frazzled and when we made inquiries about the motel she rolled her eyes and laughed that the place was very basic and we shouldn’t expect more than that. So if you’re going to stay- everything is clean but if you are bringing your children and expecting a swim it’s not going to happen. As a last minute stop because you are tired it will do.

There was no elevator which was not indicated on the web site.OK for some, but I have mobility issues and walking up 2 flights of stairs was very difficult. The halls were smelly and dirty smelling - same with the room. Breakfast and parking ok. We were booked for 4 nights and left after one, moving to the Best Western, where it was clean, no smell, had an elevator, a lovely dining room with excellent food. Overall, our stay at Days Inn was terrible and I would NEVER recommend to anyone to stay there. Definitely needs upgrading and a good clean.

Our room was on the first floor. The ceilings are quite low and room dark. Air conditioner was quite loud and unable to adjust the vents from freezing the person sleeping next to it. Breakfast was adequate. Washer/dryer was sufficient. However, the process was complicated and took 3 hours to wash 2 loads of clothes. Clear instructions should be posted in the laundry room for the dryer. It is a coin operated timed system that does not function properly.

The front desk personal is very friendly! Everything was quick and easy with the check-in and check-out. But that’s almost it, besides a small „ok“ breakfast. The room probably haven’t been looked at ahead of my stay, as there was a dirty old sock, some change money and a water bottle on the floor. But that’s a thing which can easily changed. Now to the big complaint: I stayed here on my road trip to get a good night of sleep to hit the road again the next morning. What I got: A really poorly soundproofed room! It was almost until midnight when I was able to sleep and 7 hours later I woke up by someone showering. Felt like the person was showering in my room! After that, people started talking in the hallways which felt like there where standing in my room as well! What a pitty! I would not! recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to have a quiet room.

Very dim/low lighting in breakfast room; like a nightclub. Low quality bread, ‘hot’ water in a canister that wouldn’t congeal the instant oatmeal. Grout on bathroom shower requires proper cleaning, and shower needs recaulking (missing in places and black in others). Front desk staff courteous and friendly.

We had, a first floor two room suite at the Days Inn & Conference Center by Wyndham Bridgewater. I want people to know, this is the best suite in Southwestern Nova Scotia Hotels, from Digby to Bridgewater. I have stayed at them all, believe me I'm not making this up. One room with a king bed with a jetted hot tub for two, and a nice bath room, and a 38" tv, second room, kitchen, with bar and stool and pull out bed and a 60" Samaung TV, with lots of room in each of the rooms. A door that goes right out to your vehicle, it just doesn't get any better then this. Then a free breakfast.
