Room was spacious and comfortable. You can tell its an older hotel but its been updated some. Breakfast buffet was the best I've tried so far. Catering some to westerns. Staff was helpful. Live music was cool. Just a guy and a guitar and keyboardist. Steakhouse food was 8. I tried the snapper. Not seasoned well but the tarter sauce was a life saver. I also tried the pork ribs. It was ok. I could tell they weren't very fresh but still ok. Fries 10+. Thai food was excellent according to my wife. I'd stay there again. Good price.

It's the second time we've stayed here, and once again, it was an excellent stay. The included buffet breakfast is excellent. The coffee is outstanding, unusual for a Thai hotel. Breakfast is oriented to Thai foods, though there are some common western foods (ham, eggs, toast) always available. Thai options vary day by day, with enough variety to not be boring. Two things to be aware of: parking here can be problematic. It's off-site and a brief walk away. There is VERY limited parking available in front of the hotel, but if you go out in the evening there will be no space there when you come back. There is a golf cart that will take you to the off-site parking but you may have to wait for it. Second, even though the hotel description says there's a shopping mall here, it is, in fact, closed and has been for some time. It's slated to reopen "soon" as "Khon Kaen Innovation Center" with opening date still vague. The rooms can be a bit variable in size and amenities. Both times we've stayed here, we got a room with no electric outlets near the bed, and no clock anywhere in the room. A friend who stayed here once had a more upgraded room without that problem. There's a 7-Eleven and several places to eat within easy walking distance, along with a half-dozen small bars also nearby. There are several restaurants on site, but we did not eat in them, so no idea how good they are. There's a decent pool, and a fitness center.
