This was such a fun venue to stay at for my family. The room was clean, safe, and comfortable. Upon arriving, our room wasn’t ready yet (we were a bit early on a busy weekend) so they gave us a key to the pool to use while we waited. When we showed up to the pool, there was a dj playing millennial themed party music, tons of young families and people at the pool, and a bar with drinks available to purchase. It felt more like a resort out of Mexico than a hotel in spokane. We were so pleasantly surprised and had a fantastic time partying on the pool deck! We would come back just for that experience!!

We had a nice stay at this hotel. NOTE: if you saw old pictures of the pool and saw a SLIDE in the photos, the slide no longer exists. The good things about this property is it's location to downtown and the park, the pool was excellent (despite no slide), room was clean, shower was really nice (like a rain shower!), and beds were pretty comfy. The things that could improve are: carpets seemed a bit old, check in took a while and they seemed a bit understaffed, room was small, elevators were tiny and the luggage carts barley fit in the elevators and the carts needed to be replaced (they were very worn and dirty looking), no info was given at check in about wifi, parking was an extra fee for no real apparent reason, they have plenty of parking and it seemed like an extra money grab for them to charge for it. Overall decent hotel, but will probably look for something else next time.

We had a pool room in the tower. Room was fabulous. BUT the 3 Lifeguards watched their phones more than kids. Thankful mine were teens. Will stay again. Everyone loved the pool and room access.

Their website says they have a shuttle available under their additional amenity fee, so I called the front desk to ask for a shuttle to the Davenport Spa. Not only did they say “we don’t have a shuttle,” but as I was leaving the spa, I saw a shuttle WITH THE CENTENNIAL LOGO in the parking garage. There is no hot tub, the elevator is a little scary, and the coffee bar has weird hours.

We come to The Centennial in the summertime for the wonderful outdoor swimming pool complete with waterfall. There are a lot of lounge chairs, tables and umbrellas so poolside is very comfortable. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. It's a great place for a relaxing break.

Minor things really. The furnace was very loud but did do a good job of keeping the room at temp. I wish there was an indoor pool or at last hot tub for winter. The outdoor pool looked beautiful but was closed off season.

I like the location. The sheets were stained and dirty. Took going to the front desk twice and almost an hour and a half to get them changed. The toilet either had not been cleaned or was poorly cleaned. Overall the room could have been cleaner. For what this hotel charges, the expectations are higher. I have stayed here a few times and they certainly miss the mark. Location is what keeps me coming back.

The pool was filthy. Generally could have been a lot cleaner, Cobb webs. Food was good. Odor of an older hotel. We misplaced a bag and staff was not helpful at all regarding communication of the situation. Probably won’t stay here again

The hotel seemed not as clean as prior visits. Small garbage in the hallways, brownish red gunk (blood?) on the ceiling of our room and the pool looked like it had rust spots on the bottom. But the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

The hotel is serviceable. The young men behind the desk were aloof and not terribly interested in engaging. The mirror had a greasy smear from a previous guest's learning on it. Aaaaand... the best part. As I was tidying up, I disturbed a large roach which scuttled behind the dresser.

The property location is great. Pool is nice. The room we stayed in was horrible super dirty. It looks like it had not been cleaned properly for months with as much cobb webs and spiders we found in there. Very unfortunate and management during the weekend I know was very busy with a lot of chickens, but nonetheless were unable to be of any help during our stay. 100% do not recommend staying at this hotel. They really need to train their staff to be up to the high standards they claim to have. I'm sure during slower times they are able to keep up with demand but unfortunately, I think the staff felt the pressure from being sold out this weekend.

Very nice hotel - updated and generally clean. Great location next to Riverfront park. Our room, though, had a musty smell which got worse when we turned on the AC. Not terrible, but definitely noticeable. And we found a couple a small stains on the linen. Staff were professional, but not overly friendly. Overall, it’s a good value for the location and amenities (great pool; onsite restaurant and bar). I just wish they wouldn’t charge $15 for basically parking in the surface lot at the hotel - just seems kind of greedy.

Ive stayed at the Centennial before a few years ago and it was solidly middle of the road but something has changed- and not for the better. Its a mid-century hotel which has been moderately updated with time but still feels generally outdated. The location is great being right next to the river and near the park, there is off street parking that you pay for. What concerned me this time was the overall condition of the hotel. I reserved a king riverside suite for a solo trip as a mothers day gift, which i believe is not their best room but close to it. There was an odor to the entire hotel that was even stronger in the suite- musty would be the closest word. The suite is a good size but immediately i noticed several obvious stains on the couches- it really grossed me out and was unexpected for the price i paid. Additionally it was raining and water leaked in through the door to the patio, and there were cobwebs in the window sills! I seriously debated abandoning my reservation and checking into another hotel. What was supposed to be a relaxing indulgence was anything but. Positives- the staff were all pleasant and my room service order came quickly. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Trying to make a fair review here, it wasnt all bad, but honestly i expected a lot more and i dont think ill be coming back. For the same price i could have stayed at much nicer hotels and I am shocked that The Davenport hotel group hasnt kept it up.

Absolutely disgusting rooms. Chairs were not cleaned or even cared to be wiped down. The bathroom, especially the shower was even worse. The towels smelt horrible. I was shocked they were white. Definitely would not recommend or ever plan to go back

The hotel is in a perfect location for attending events at the Spokane Arena -- it's a 9-minute walk to the corner, across the street and through the playground to enter through the side doors. The staff at check-in and in the restaurant were all very nice, and the property was nice and clean. However, the deluxe double room we booked had horrible lighting! There was a small reading light on the desk and one lamp between the beds. It had 2 soft white bulbs. Luckily, we dressed while it was still light outside, or we'd have to dress in the bathrrom that is pretty small. We actually thought about calling down for another lamp to be brought up!

We loved the view of the park, balcony and large tub in our room 523, that was still big enough for the pack and play for the toddler. It was a little musty smelling, not too bad, and the bed was a little soft, but not too bad! We would definitely stay here again in the same room!

Good location, close to the Podium. Staffs are friendly and helping. But the room is dated, need major renovation, e.g. there is no air vent in the bathroom, air conditioning is very loud. The air in the room is not circulating. The wifi is extremely bad, barely usable.

My husband and I showed up very late after being stuck on the side of the highway for 3 hours waiting on a tow. Tawnee welcomed us and was so sympathetic and helpful with our accommodations, in fact, all of the staff was just incredibly thoughtful including in the restaurant which was open until 11 pm to our pleasant surprise. The food was delicious by the way! I also love the bridge access right to the park and walk ability of the area (this was important since we had no car). Will always recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting the area.

Front receptionist was condescending and kinda clueless and not helpful. Was told they have no towels and no way to give me change because their change machine was broken. But even the bar wouldnt give me change after i used an atm to get cash because their vending machines were all broke except 1 that didnt except card. The resteraunt was understaffed and no one to seat you. Paid extra for a poolside room only get to get a dingy room with no fan in the bathroom, dirty sheets, and smelled like wet dog and cigarette smoke. The 2 queen beds were more like 2 twin beds. Won't be coming back.

I booked my hotel room way in advance and on the day off check in the person at the front desk said that they gave my room away, because of a tournament and without prior notice!!!(no phone call,no email, nothing!!!) They gave me a different hotel and said that is the only thing they can do about the situation. Such a rude and unprofessional staff !!! Do not stay here it's a waste of money!!!! They changed my stay without notice and they couldn't even handle it properly!!! HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!

Our rooms… both poolside, were not ready until after 5:00!!! Completely unacceptable. The also told us they could not offer a refund as I didn’t book directly through them, but used Hotels.com. What a terrible experience… customer service was completely lacking

The staff was very nice. Xavier was very kind and helpful when checking us in. He was very knowledgeable about things to see or do while we were there. He even told us about some good food places to eat. The restaurant staff were very accommodating to my boyfriend’s pork allergy and making sure he was able to eat without worrying about his allergies. We won’t hesitate to stay at their hotel again.

Hotel is located in walking distance to the venue where we attended a music festival. It is right next to River Front Park. It’s a beautiful area to walk in. Nice, quiet room. Helpful, professional staff. We will stay there again.

The property grounds and quality were fine. But, my car had two windows broken while someone tried to break into my car in their gated parking. I informed the front desk. They didn't apologize or seem to surprised by the incident. I wont stay there again.

The pool was great! The beds...not so great, like sleeping on a stack of towels, maybe im not used to pillow top. Staff was great! Location GREAT! Very sad that there is no longer a breakfast buffet.

We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the amenities offered as well as the restaurant. Their "seat yourself" policy left us waiting over 20 minutes for ice water and menus and we watched three full tables walk in after us and were greeted almost immediately. It was busy, but there were plenty of servers wandering all around us, just none would look our way.

The stay started great but by the end of the night declined. Our sheets on both beds were dirty, we had to change them ourselves, room service couldn’t be reached, restaurant wouldn’t answer phones, and a pizza we walked down to the restaurant to order took 1.5 hours.
