What guests think

On the downside, rooms are dated with periodic maintenance issues (slow toilets, HVAC, door locks), Wi‑Fi can be unreliable, and breakfast quality and variety draw mixed to negative feedback. Some guests noted hallway or smoke odors, occasional noise from other guests or trucks, and that there is no elevator. Expect a basic, no-frills stopover with friendly service and variable extras.

There has been a lot of disappointment here. There’s no elevator, and we have a child who uses a wheelchair. They did move our room to the first floor. Never did get the wifi to work. We just used our hotspots. I chose this hotel specifically for the EV charger, and they wanted to charge $20 to use it. The one across the street is faster and cheaper. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that charges guests for EV charging. To top it off, there’s a string of people coming and going using it who don’t appear to be paying anything but who are hanging out chatting with staff in the lobby.

In our first room, water was coming up through the floor in the bathroom. We had to switch rooms because of the water - it was excessive. In the 2nd room, the tub didn’t drain properly. During a shower, water accumulated in the bottom. We had an issue with an outside door as well. The card reader, from an access door off the parking lot, didn’t work in the morning when their was frost (not sure if that was the reason). Other than these issues, the room was comfortable and clean.

Hotel was ok for low budget. Front desk was helpful, did what they were able to do for us. Nowhere in the hotels.com description does it state the LACK OF elevator in building, so if you're traveling with someone who struggles with steps, I'd avoid this one.

Wife and I stayed two nights. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Motel has been updated with pleasant colors, textures and amenities. Breakfast consists of the typical carb items found at most motels. It's kept well stocked and clean. Easy on/ off access to RT 80. Large parking area for vehicles with trailers. Two charging spots for electric vehicles. Several dining options within a two-mile radius. I would definitely stay here again.

Old and tired motel. Dated furnishings and dingy. Internet was practically non-existent. And there isn't an elevator. Overall, it was sort of grim. But - the room was very clean. So not all bad.

The hotel is clean and comfortable; however, the door bolt did not work and there was a semi truck idling outside out window all night. When we spoke with the front desk about the lock, she said there was nothing she could do and she could not give us a different room because we had book through a third party. Also, the door to the parking lot near our room was propped open, which made us feel more uncomfortable about the lock not working.

Parking and access was fine. Room was clean. The toilet tank in our room was extremely slow refilling the bowl. When mentioned to staff, was told? "Oh, yeah, we know that room runs slow. We had (a guy), I think she said Moyer's, was here and couldn't find anything". Why not offer us another room? They were not fully booked. We're 73 and need a working toilet.

We needed budget friendly hotels for 1 night each on a road trip. This hotel worked for us. One downside was the hotel had over-booked our room, saying hotels.com had not reserved the room for us. They were able to find a comparable room for us so it was ok, but it was a little confusing and awkward. Breakfast was fine.

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - SCAMMERS - I booked this hotel during a road trip from New England to Indiana through Hotels.com. i reserved and paid for a pet friendly room for 2 adults and 2 kids. When I arrived, I was told that I had been assigned a jacuzzi room that was not pet friendly and would not work for 2 adults and 2 kids. The desk staff would not put me in another room without paying them directly with my credit card. They told me it was a problem with Hotels.com and I would have to cancel with them. I have gone back and forth with Hotels.com and the hotel directly. Nobody has refunded me for the extra payment. This place is a scam. Stay away.

I had a pleasant stay at this location. The price was great and it was in a convenient location right off of the 80. The breakfast was good, (bagels, waffles, cereal). There is a gas station and a diner across the street as well as some other fast food options. The man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint was that the shower head holdster was broken and wouldn't stay in place, I had to hold it in place. I would definitely return in the future.
