Wonderful hotel. Consistently fun, welcoming vibe. Rooms are super-clean, comfortable and well-thought-out. Awesome family setting because the pool is so inviting, the grounds are so well kept. In the summer, people go outside, eat their breakfasts even, at the patio tables. Front desk staff is gracious, experienced, efficient and top-of-the-line. The lobby is even well-designed and visually beautiful. Overall atmosphere: You'd expect a business-y feel, or a convention-center feel, being near a highway. But surprisingly, in addition, it also is very warm, and family-oriented. That makes it unique. Hotel Indigo checks all the boxes and with a 5 star rating each time. Our entire party is definitely returning at a later date... (to meet up again for family gatherings nearby this hotel). We couldn't have been happier. Not unexpectedly, the H.I. East End was completely booked, and wherever we walked on the property, everyone else was having a similarly, wonderful experience too. Cleaning staff is very attuned to what guests might ask for, also. All-around great establishment. Especially for toddlers and children. In addition, thankfully, there was a lot of thought put into making sure there is top-notch choice points providing for, and on behalf of, seniors and their comfort needs. (The specially-abled too.). Would most definitely recommend. Well done H.I.E.E.!!!!

Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Restaurant was better than expected. Fitness center is small but has enough to get by and was never in use by more than 3 people at a time. Note: if you're staying here to make use of the Hamptons, it is a very long drive during the peak season due to traffic. Good coffee/bagel place down the road "Bean & Bagel."

We've stayed here many times and I was shocked how poor our stay was this visit. The light was stuck and shined in our eyes all night, the AC was failing, the shower head was falling of the wall of the shower, my daughter's PASTA was inedible (how do you ruin pasta?) just overall dirty and a mess. I asked for compensation for at least the first night as we couldnt sleep and they gave us a drink vouche! Unacceptable

The room smelled like old sock in a hamper trapped for days. So I decided to call the front desk, but to my dismay, the phone didn’t work. So I walked to the front desk and said the room had an odor, the desk person gave me a bottle of air freshener and went on a tangent about there not being one available room. I went back to my room and turned off the ac and opened the windows which thankfully helped a bit, but I prayed that nobody parked in front of the windows. I went to the front desk the next morning and mentioned that I thought it might be the ac filter and they said they would send in maintenance to fix the issue, but alas they never came. The bathroom sink was also clogged but I just figured it was par for the course. I would not recommend this hotel if you have another option.

Property cleanliness was acceptable. Furnishings a little outdated. Went into room and outside glass door would not lock and slightly ajar. Told front desk and while we went out for the afternoon maintenance fixed it. All fine and good except when we get back to room outside door would not open now and making it a different type of safety issue of no clear way out in case of emergency. Do not stay in room 123. Humming sound allll niiiight long, possibly from electrical box located on outside wall.

This is a hotel where friendliness and hospitality —staff and fellow guests—make everyone feel welcome and comfortable and make up for the imperfections. My wife and I, residents of New York City and fans of the North Fork of Long Island for decades, arrived on Labor Day, when the crowds and traffic were moving in the opposite direction. We booked three nights at a good price. The hotel decor is unique, the furniture and facilities are showing signs of wear and in need of an upgrade, the room was small but nicely decorated, the bed was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom and shower were clean and functional . The hotel restaurant, Bistro 72, serves good food with a smile, provides live entertainment and is a magnet for an older, mature crowd that is down-to-earth and without pretense. We enjoyed our stay here so much that despite having planed to drive out to visit the local attractions, we never left the place. We will return.

The room was freezing-cold upon 3pm check-in although the thermostat appeared to be set at 73F; we changed it to 77F and went out. Upon return, 11pmish, it still read 77F but felt like 47F. We asked at the front desk and were told a system restart would occur in the basement so our room didn't have to be entered by staff. By the time we went to sleep, > midnight, it might have been 57F. Eco-friendly? you bet. Comfortable? absolutely not.

My wife and I stayed here during Labor Day week, 2023. I gave the hotel and staff a glowing review. We stayed one night over Thanksgiving. It was the opposite experience. We booked dinner in the restaurant and it felt like a cafeteria. The hotel room they assigned us had a TV that didn’t work properly. The desk manager made three separate trips to correct it. The only option was to switch rooms. But it was after 9pm. There was a serious staffing issue. There wasn’t enough staff to cope with the crowds and everything seemed rushed and slipshod. A little less than 3 months ago, I was recommending this hotel and chose to spend the holiday with my wife here. We won’t be returning.

When we checked in we were asked what card we wanted to use to pay the $164 balance. We gave a card. Turns out they already charged the room to the card on file. We are not sure why they asked for payment again. Now they took $182.63 out of TWO of my accounts. The balance was only $164. But we were now charged twice for the wrong amount. They say it will correct it self but we have still yet to be refunded any money. On top of that our dinner was charged to our room after we gave a credit card at dinner. So again our card was charged twice for the same dinner. We have yet to see that refund of $182 as well. We are out about $400 now that we are waiting to be refunded. It was a very stressful experience watching all this money being charged to our cards. I will wait a few days and then dispute all charges with my credit company if I do not see it all corrected. Over all we went out for our anniversary and ended up stressing about all the money that was mistakenly taken from us. Thank you, Donna Connolly

Excellent hotel. My only complaint is that the water pressure was a bit low. My other complaint is that I ordered a cheese plate, and we were both very disappointed with it. I paid extra for the cheese plate, which I was looking forward to, but it turned out to be a big disappointment.

Love this place ... BUT food services inconsistent. GOOD: Pre-fixe dinner excellent, plentiful, and very reasonably priced. BAD: Free Breakfast very disappointing. Tried to do something a bit different from big chain hotel breakfasts, but really didn't work. Tasteless egg white sandwich, unappealing "overnight oatmeal", minimal cold cereal choices, sugar-laden yogurt.
