This hotel is tired and dingy. Depressing room with gray and mud green decor. I would be embarrassed to sell the couch on Craigslist - it was that uncomfortable. It is supposed to have a bar and restaurant. The bar has no alcohol, not even beer and wine. I mean NONE. The ‘restaurant’ has no tables or waiters. You order from a very limited menu and your meal is handed to you in a to-go box to take to your depressing room. The staff was very nice until we informed them we wanted to leave three nights early, and she got little defensive. I’ve stayed in almost every hotel in Albuquerque (family there) and this was my in my bottom three.

Nice area. Room was clean and spacious. Could use some updates. Water in the shower was warm not hot and the tub drained slow. We stayed in a room with double queen beds and a sofa bed. The beds were not queen size more like full size. Worked for me and my small child however might not be comfortable with two adults. Unable to access pool with card key had to find an employee. Elevators didn’t work good at night had to wait 5 min to go up two floors. Worked fine during the day. Breakfast was decent. Small bar with only beer and wine.

Unfortunately the property has become more an more run down since our last stay in the past year. The room was very dusty, mold under pull out couch mattress, and pillows that were extremely worn and flat. While the staff was nice, it was clear that they were extremely understaffed and stressed. Parking was a nightmare, as several individuals parked over multiple spots or moving trucks took up 4 spots in the front requiring that I park in a dark corner by the garbage. Anyone who knows Albuquerque knows that this is a bad idea! I was really frustrated that no one attempted to contact the owners of the overparked vehicles and make them move.

After I arrived in the room I noticed something on the floor so I picked it up. It was what looked like dog poop on the floor!! The tile in the bathroom was also loose and squeaked every time I was in there. The fan also mad a loud noise. Very disappointing stay in the room. I

Staff was friendly, room was clean, however this hotel has REALLY aged. 9 years ago we stayed here and I was happy with the experience, but now it appears they have updated the lobby and the rooms and especially the bathrooms, are old and need work. The blackout curtain below the actual curtain was filled with tiny holes throughout and the "suite" we had was so small. Definitely will not stay here again.

Our check-in was smooth, the young lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. We requested a room on a high floor, and ended up with a corner room on the sixth floor. The room was quiet and comfortable, with just enough space for 2 people (I can't imagine fitting 4 in there). A couple of small concerns: because the couch converted to a bed, the cushions slipped off really easily. Not good when you're trying to get comfortable and watch TV. Second, it was difficult to get in and out of the shower because of its proximity to the toilet and the fact that only one of the shower doors opened. Not a good design. Overall, our stay was fine. The hotel is across the street from ABQ Uptown, which was convenient for some shopping and dinner. We would stay again, thought I felt like the price was a little high for what you get.

They met our expectations for the Hyatt Place brand. The room was comfortable and clean. Reported as we left that the bathroom sink did not drain properly--kept filling up. If you rely on TV for entertainment in the hotel, their channel selection was very limited. Breakfast is always good.

Front desk staff didnt have anynof my information, usually I never have a problem with the front desk having all my info already about my reservation, ph#, and email , but this place didnt , and they also had a $100 incidental fee ? Now thats a bit much, they would take the funds right awabut returning the funds it takes a week ! That blows ! , .. they offer room service but yey they have no menus in the rooms and if you do order food , you have to go down stairs to pick up your food .. kinda Rediculious i think , .. i dont know if ill ever stay here again ..

I stayed here because the property is dog friendly and I was passing through town. My rescue dog was too scared to get in the elevator and our room was on the 5th floor. I really appreciated that the front desk staff offered me a room on the first floor. I also loved the huge TV and sitting area on the room so we could watch the basketball playoffs comfortably!

Great breakfast & super comfortable bed & convenient location. We stayed two nights for a medical appt. at UNM. At breakfast the first morning we spoke to Pralay who asked about our trip. We saw him again the next morning & he asked about the medical appt. We were most appreciative of the personal touch. He also helped my husband with his breakfast service - very helpful since my husband has Parkinson’s & has difficulty carrying his plate. We have to make this trip a couple times a year. Will definitely be back.

There was no hot water! At checkin she said they were having hot water issues but our room shouldn’t be affected. She said if it was an issue we would be compensated accordingly. At checkout I expressed this and someone different said there was nothing she could do because I booked via a third party.

Sarah at the front desk is rude, unprofessional and not willing to help guests. I asked if it was possible to check in early (1400) and she said they didn’t have any rooms clean to check back @ 1500. Not even 10 later after I already left the property she called me to say we have a room ready so we turn around to return to the property only to be put in a hot room next to the elevator. I went back to the front desk and told her I didn’t want to be next to the noisy elevator and her reply was you wanted to check in earlier so that what you get. I gave her the key back and told her I’ll check in after 1500 like all of your other guest. Her and the other girl working on December 17, 2022 during this time need training on how to be a decent person to guess that are paying your paycheck. When I returned to check in later on in the day it was two new people at the front desk with a better attitude and disposition.

This hotel is well situated near a shopping mall with many restaurants. You can basically walk there which is nice especially after you’ve been driving all day. The staff were very friendly. I cannot comment on the quality of breakfast as we never ate there. This hotel is very close to the airport which is very convenient after your long flight.

The good… Friendly staff (in the evening). Location was amazing. Property was great. The bad… No water pressure. Morning breakfast was a hard experience. Decided to get our own breakfast. Everything was out, no food, drinks, or silverware. Understandable if it was busy but was not. For this price Marriott is much less and a much better experience.

The check in counter was combined with sundry counter and a bar. One staff member only and was not greeted upon arrival. Talked down to about hotel policy of a second credit card to be authorized $100 for incidentals of which there was nothing to purchase. Was told hotel policy after arguing. Room was not well lit. Light switches difficult to turn on. The mattress was a lumpy mess and pillows were very thin. There was a crawl space between the headboard and the mattress. Only one outlet charger system next to bed. The water was hard and shower head not adjustable. You had an ice bucket but no ice machine on the floor. Breakfast nook seating was all through the lobby and the bar. Hyatt used to have great coffee but every cup was old tasting and way too strong. When checking out was not given a receipt as was told by staff a copy would cone from the booking third party. Will be staying next door at the Sheraton next time we are in town. This place used to be great as a Hyatt but has fallen in looks, practices, standards and customer service.
