The work out room and elevator inoperable.

Elevators were out . Fitness room was out . Bar was dirty . Breakfast was 2/10. Only good thing close to airport . We kept asking for towels and finally had to go to front desk to get them had to walk down 3 flights of stairs elevator not working . No housekeeping foe 4 days and we asked several times .

The single lift was not working... Carrying heavy bags up to the third floor was not fun after a long flight after midnight.

Convenient with a shuttle and being close to the airport . But I’m giving a 4 star because the elevator was out of service and the breakfast was not great. The hot options were a premade omelet and sausage patty that you’d have to warm up.

Right next door to us parkway & they offer a stay and park while your away on vacation.

Arrived to check in and was advised that there was no available parking for me and that I would have to pay $14 dollars to a third party service to park offsite and be bussed to and from my vehicle. When questioned, the front desk was direct and rude in stating that I paid for a room and not parking. Even though the booking stated parking was included. I even told the desk that I was able to park in an open spot on their property and they stated that I would have to move off property or risk being towed. It’s pretty poor service when a hotel guest is not even allowed to park at the hotel they are staying at and they be expected to pay for additional parking simply because of poor logistical planning on the hotels part.

The hotel is close to the airport which is handy, but it lies right under the flight path and is quite noisy. Upon check-in, we discovered that the restaurant bar and restaurant were closed due to the always handy "staffing" problem. We booked his hotel because they had a restaurant and bar. Then, we discovered that the TV was stuck on one channel with no sound. Talked to another customer and found out they had the same issue in another room. Obviously, house maintenance is poor and few dollars are being spent on replacing worn out equipment. Room was booked for 3 adults, but the room only had one set of towels. When we contacted the front desk to complain, we were offered another room, but declined as it would likely come with all of the same poor conditions. Asked to speak to the manager regarding a dnt on the room rate due to the substandard conditions, we were told the manager wouldn't be in until the next afternoon. I recommend future customers consider another hotel for your stay at DTW. n.

Felt like this hotel could definitely use a major update. The beds are hard, almost like their were from the 1980's. Bathroom felt like it was dirty, the shower curtain was stained and needed to be desperately replaced. mold around the tub and filter in heater definitely needed to be cleaned. Good location, but not worth feeling dirty after staying there.

My flip flops stuck to the bathroom floor. The shower didn’t look clean so I washed up rather than shower. The desktop had all kinds of glass rings on it and was sticky. TV reception was terrible for football games. No mini workout room but I walked outside so I won’t hold that against you. Thank you!

Came here after a flight. Shower had no water. Breakfast was an actual joke. Room was so humid the carpet was squishy. Towels were stained & had hair on them, gross. In general not clean and odd smell. Would not stay twice

Room stink, and dirty

Checked into room on first floor near the bar. Room itself was too close to bar and lobby and noisy. Had front desk find a different room on 2nd floor. Room was dusty and seemed not to have been cleaned (deep clean) in a while. The smell coming from the carpet and drapes was old and stale. The entire room was outdated. After cleaning the remote control for the t.v. and the headboard along with all other surfaces, I was ready to check out but stayed due to family checked in for a funeral. The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were small and the fill in them clumped. Not a good night sleep. Breakfast was a joke and consisted of dry mini muffins and orange juice. Nothing was served that is advertised on the website. Left hotel for the funeral and received a text asking if I had a vehicle parked which may or may not needed to be moved due to work on the parking lot. Returned to the hotel and elevator wasn't working. We were told the steps were at the end of the hallway. The kicker was at check out being told they could not print a receipt. I waited until they figured it out. I don't think this hotel should continue operating and shoukd be rated at 1 star instead of 3.

The rooms grout has moldy mildew. The room comes with only 1 set of towels. What is called breakfast should be removed off listing. Its a pastry and a frozen sausage you have to microwave. The lobby is clean. This Wyndham hotel room has been the worst I've stayed in. I travel alot and have stayed in the Wyndham franchise hotels in GA, Alabama as well as NC. Guest

The ice bucket had mold around it! Just wasn’t extremely clean! Sketchy people in and out and no surveillance cameras what so ever! Seems dangerous for staff

The receptionist that checked us in was nice and efficient. The pictures on the website are NOT what it looks like. The floors throughout the hotel were dirty and the breakfast was not great. This is not the Wyndham quality I expected. It was convenient to be next to the car rental place, however. We were able to drop off our car and walk to the hotel.

First room we were given was super dirty, stains on the sheets, something white all over the side of the bed, toilet had not been flushed. So we went to the front and they gave us a different room and this one was slightly less dirty, but there were little bugs all by the AC unit and hair in the bed and more little stains on the sheets. We ended up leaving and driving 4 hours back home. Unfortunately, not a good experience

Room was much smaller than pictures looked. Door to the room wouldn’t even fully open all the way. Was clean but did not look well taken care of. Just not a comfortable stay, unfortunately.

The bed was horrible. It was very broken down.

Check in was easy and the staff during checkout was very friendly. The room itself was just okay. The bathroom is very small, the finish was peeling off in the tub and the fixtures were rickety at best. The tv had a loose cable, so watching the news or anything else was not really an options. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and the pillows are very small and felt like they were stuffed with broken foam that had been washed and dried far too many times. There were three of us in the room but only two towels and one hand towel. Overall, not the best but also not the worst. The properties proximity to the airport and 94 is super convenient but next time we’ll stay somewhere off of Merriman road so that we are closer to food other than a gas station and fast food.

The front desk lady was the highlight of our stay. She was kind and friendly. The parking situation was a joke…the lot was over full from cars left there while people fly out of the airport. We had to park in a dark corner out back with no options for entry other than the front of the hotel while a group of questionable men were loitering and smoking weed out back…gawking at us while we circled the lot. The room was clean, but felt dirty at the same time. The bathroom was cramped, the toilet didn’t flush, the door was “sticky” to the touch, and the shower knob was loose. Towels provided were minimal…2 large towels, one hand towel and one washcloth. The beds were comfortable. The doors had a gap under them and we could hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallway. “Breakfast” was a disappointment…we gave it a once over and left. We will not return. The price was right for a last minute booking. We should have spent more to stay elsewhere.

Our stay was conveniently close to the airport. The hotel allowed us to park our vehicle from Thursday-Monday for $40 while we traveled. They offered shuttle service to the airport, which was awesome! The bed/pillows weren’t the best and the tv in the room was outdated and had a terrible picture. All in all it was an okay stay.

The toilet in my room was not working properly and the shower was stuck in the up position so a bath would not have been possible. It was late when I checked in and I was tired so I did not notify staff until checkout. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

Very uncomfortable beds

It’s very noisy giving the fact that it’s very close to the roads. You can hear trucks coming and going at night and very early in the morning. The walls are so thin that you can hear the noise from people above you and people next to you and you can even hear the noise when people taking shower next room.

Our bed linens were clean and comfortable, but the decorative scarf on the end of the bed was wrinkled and looked messy. The bathroom tub was peeling, the springs on the doors were bent and flaking a bad paint job. Just a small amount of care would really help this hotel, because the staff were good, the convenience was great, and the shuttle prompt. The breakfast was plain, but the presentation was the problem, not the quality of the food.

I’ve stayed here before and each time I go back I immediately remember why I don’t like this hotel. I was in a two queen bed room and had two towels, one washcloth, and two hand towels. When I Ininquired about extra towels the hotel cleaning person told me I had to go to the front desk. Went to the front desk and I had to provide my room number to get towels. Again, called down for an iron because not every room has an iron. Well, it was too early (8am) and the head of housekeeping wasn’t in and the person at the front desk didn’t know where to find them. Lastly, I went to take a shower. Looked for the shampoo/comditioner bottles 99.9% of hotels provide……not this one. They give you a small packet of shampoo you have to rip open to use it. But then what do I now do with the trash in my hand with shampoo in the other??? Come on. Do better. They are def mot eco friendly with those packets.

First our room wasn’t cleaned from the people before us and they transferred to another room. That room the tv didn’t work and they said it was a storm well the front desks tv was working so had a gentlemen come into our room and he said nope sorry doesn’t work. There isn’t enough parking anywhere around the building. Won’t ever stay there again!

First I uber from the airport to the property and couldn’t return to the airport with the shuttle later that evening to pick up the other registered guest. Then I go to shower, pull the curtain back and there’s a used washcloth sitting on the tub. I didn’t sleep well all three nights and woke up hurting because the mattress are worn out. The tvs are outdated. I was OK with no streaming services being on it however I want to buy a Roku stick and there wasn’t an hdmi port to plug it in. Then the channels that the TV did pick up came in all fuzzy. Then I go to the front desk at 7am and request a late check out 12pm and was told yes. However because I requested a shuttle to the airport at 12pm, I was told to be in the lobby at 11:45am which was fine. But the front desk called my room at 11:10 as I was at the gas station(my wife answer the phone) and asked if we could check out and get on the 11:30 shuttle. Then housekeeping knocked on my door at 8,9,10:30 am. Then knocked again at 11:30am and rudely told me check out is at 11am. When I opened the door and let her know, the front deck gave me a 12pm check out. She immediately took her phone out. I called the front desk as if I was lying, as I shut the door. Seconds later the front desk calls my room and search the question me on what did the employee look like and what her hair color was? Even if she have a shift change over whoever was on Night Shift when you took over that morning is who you should be talking to.

The staff were really nice when I pulled up to check in. They got me my room in less than 5 min

Staff was incredibly rude and impatient. When asked to speak with management, was told that there is no management on site and can only be contacted by booking companies. It is very suspicious that customers have absolutely no way of directly contacting supervisors or management.

Convenient stay for an early flight out of DTW, with a free shuttle on the half hour to either terminal... Clean and tidy. Like to watch planes land and takeoff before you fly? This is the place. Front desk staff was awesome and so was the restaurant staff.

After the worst travel day of cancelled flights, I booked this hotel to catch a few hours of sleep before my rebooked flight in the morning. However, I haven’t even made it past check in because “the internet is down.” I also can’t have a refund because it’s a “non-refundable reservation.” So now there are three groups of people and counting waiting to check-in with no solution in sight.

One of the receptionists was incredibly rude when our shuttle was half an hour late. When the shuttle finally arrived the driver yelled at us for not tipping him. Service was incredibly poor and unprofessional.

Needed a good nights sleep due to a missed flight. This hotel was easy to get to and staff as very helpful.

Everyone was friendly but there was several people checking in and out at the same time took 45 minutes to check in. But the receptionist did her best to get to all of us as fast as she could. She even had a broken finger.

Convenient and easy as it’s right close to DTW. parking was simple and easy. Staff were wonderful and friendly.

Well priced (last minute for me) and close proximity to the airport. It can get a bit noisy with ascending airplanes. The backside might be more quiet. Friendly staff, quick and easy check-in. In-house dining. Clean room and bathroom. Not bad!

Great location, very convenient to the airport by shuttle. Was worried about the noise but it was not that noticeable in the room.

If you rent from Avis car rental at DTW, this is the hotel to stay. It’s directly across the street for easy drop off before a flight

Poor service, dirty rooms, miserable excuse for a breakfast, shuttle never arrived and had to Uber. Wish we had something positive to say about the stay but there were not any.

The breakfast was horrible. might as well consider that they don't offer breakfast.

The hotel an excellent facility for the price. The restaurant was not acceptable. Only fast food in the area which is preferable to there offerings.

Staff was great. The bar/restaurant served my needs well. The breakfast was average but the coffee was very good. The airport shuttle was well-timed but it was harder to get to the back seats. Easy drop-off at my terminal.

The property wasn't dirty, but aged. Even though the room was non-smoking it had the smell, look and feel as it use to be a smoking room. The free breakfast was a definite pass. TV remote didn't work, didn't bother to ask for new batteries as it was a quick one night stay.
