The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was comparable with most hotel showers. My only complaint was that due to the proximity to the airport and the fact that they allow long-term parking in their parking lot, there was no close-in parking for active guests and this meant a long walk to the hotel with your luggage.

Was a one night stay before flying out of Detroit the next morning. After a 5 hour drive, just wanted to have a beer in the Gastropub. Unfortunately the bar is still working on getting its liquor license. Had to go to another hotel to have a beer. Concerning the room, the TV didn’t work, and there was still trash in the garbage can in the room which made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. Should have read the other reviews on this hotel before booking.

This was an ok stay. There is literally no parking if you are driving yourself and staying for a night as their parking lot is a paid long-term parking lot that is separate from the hotel. We weren't made aware of this, and we thought we could reserve it on-site. when we checked in, the front desk person acted like we were dumb for not knowing lol. Just a weird interaction overall. Otherwise, the rooms are basic, nothing fancy, and no major cleanliness issues. If you're staying for a night, it would work just fine.

Under new management, no pool available, no hot tub available, and the restaurant/bar was partially operational. Cleaned rooms while away but they stayed on top of it. Enjoyed stay in Detroit, MI inspite of.

Hotel is average. Their onsite restaurant was not available, we had to go to the hotel next door for their restaurant. All you hear is planes all night, which is what you get for wanting to stay so close to the airport. Unsure if they had breakfast as we had to leave at 2am so I am unable to comment on that. If I was staying in Detroit ever again to catch a flight, think I'll spend the extra money and stay at the hotel next door, that had way more to offer than this hotel

When we checked in, we asked when the restaurant was opening for dinner. The staff said 5:00pm. When we went downstairs to get dinner, the restaurant wasn't open and the staff said the chef didn't show up tonight. We ended up going next door to the Embassy Suites for dinner and the wait staff said the restaurant hasn't been open in over 6 months! So the front desk concierge lied right to our face about it opening at 5:00pm! The tv reception was abysmal. The cable has very few channels and several of the channels came in fuzzy or not at all. One of the lamps beside the bed was flickering and would not stop when turned on... it was like a strobe light! If you are prone to seizures, this is not the room to stay in as the light was flickering constantly until turned it off. The window has a pull down shade to block sunlight but the curtains that cover the windows do not cover them as they do not go all the way over for full coverage. The room clearly needs to be updated... carpet is old and faded. We would not stay at this hotel again. Unfortunately, we were on a budget and needed something inexpensive but the saying is correct... you get what you pay for.

The toilet bowl wasn't cleaned well and the sight was very gross. You could feces on the outside of the toilet bowl. Once we noticed it, we checked out immediately. Terrible. I wish i can get a refund. 😡

The bathroom floor was extremely unsanitary and visibly dirty, appearing as though it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Hair was scattered about, and the corners were particularly neglected. Additionally, numerous pins were found on the floor and carelessly placed on the bed board. Despite our two-night stay, the room remained untouched and unprepared between the two days. Despite being a party of four, only two towels were provided, and despite our request for more, the promised delivery never materialized. I wouldn't recommend this place; it might look appealing in photos, but that's the extent of its charm. Our room, situated above the lobby, suffered from incessantly loud music, making sleep nearly impossible.

When we arrived the front desk attendant was very rude and uninformative. The lobby overwhelmingly smelled of marijuana. There was an “gastro pub” staff seemed high, and paid more attention to his phone than us when trying to order food. The orders were incorrect and things were not cooked thoroughly. Upon getting into our rooms the sheets were dirty, one room had tons of hair on the pillows, the other had stains and dirt spots on the pillows. The vents were caked with dust, carpet stains, and the fridge’s wire shelves were cracked and rusting.

I thought a Raddison would be a nice stay. The only thing good about it was that it was close to the airport. Our first room had open food left in the room and dirty dust ruffle. We were concerned for what that meant for the sheets. Our second room was not much better. Went to use the shower and the tub immediately filled up with the drain open. The towels had hair on them. The walls and most other surfaces had mysterious spots on them. Would not stay again.

The hotel is very outdated and common areas could be cleaner. Our blinds didn’t even shut because they were missing or broken. Not to mention we got a random charge to our card, which we did not authorize. When I asked the front desk person about it, they said whoever was working probably took something from the pantry and charged my room for their snack.

I stayed one night and I couldn’t sleep because I was right next to the elevators which were noisy all night. Additionally, the toilet only flushed ocassionally. To top it off, I didn’t get the wake up call I requested.

Old building but zero airplane noise which was impressive for being so close to DTW! Hotel in general was quiet and felt safe. The first room we were given the toilet wouldn't flush. We were quickly changed to another room a few doors down the hall, but TV didn't work at all and one lamp was broken, but the toilet worked. Front desk said they didn't have any more rooms and would send maintenance to fix the TV. No one ever came. The price for the room was low so you get what you pay for I guess. We only stayed one night prior to our early flight but travel often as a family to Detroit and have stayed at many other airport hotels in Romulus and this one was by far the worst. Staff at AM check out didn't even acknowledge me or speak. Just took the room keys and then continued his conversation with another employee. Perhaps another $20 - $30 per night at the hotels next door is worth it if you want working toilets, TVs, and lights.

On the positive side is the location is so close to the airport, service desk attendant was decent and the hotel and room was clean. The negative aspect is that you will hear everything going on in your adjoining room amd the hotel is a bit worn and needs a refresh/remodel.

Very sub par for the money. Have to plug the coffee pot in in the bathroom, no plugs in room. Extremely small TV for the space where its mounted plus very poor reception. Mattress was not very comfortable at all. More than half of the lights in the room were burned out. The desk chair was covered in stains. No parking available onsite, front desk was instructing people to park down the road across the street and walk back in the snow storm. Will not go there again.

The bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have been in. It felt like I was laying on springs only. There was only one washcloth in the bathroom. The front desk person was not friendly when we checked out. Also there was no coffee in the room and when my husband went down to get some he was told they didn’t have any and he could use the coffee from the lobby. I expected much more from a Radisson hotel. I don’t think I would use your hotel again. Also there was only one plug in the room and it was not with any USB ports. Luckily we brought some plugs with us but if we didn’t have any our phones would have died and we probably would have missed our flight. I am very disappointed in this hotel.

Picture this - we (my daughter, wife and I) land at Detroit at midnight on Feb 15 on the eve of a polar vortex induced snowstorm. I have a confirmed reservation at this blessed hotel. We show up at the hotel around 1am and the most appalling experience unfolded. The guy at the reception greets us and in the most nonchalant manner states "Sorry we are sold out". But, we have a confirmed reservation - sure, this dude doesn't budge, "Sold out Sir" It was unbelievable to the point of being funny! Apparently they had given our room away but there was absolutely no sense of regret or remorse from this dude....he was completely indifferent and even mildly gleeful to see our plight... We finally found a Comfort Inn and paid 1.5X the amount but we're glad we found a place to safely spend the night as the winds picked up and the temperatures plummeted as the night progressed. I would never ever trust this hotel .. would you?

We arrived shuttle bus pick up point at around 10pm, called the hotel frond desk for shuttle pick up and nobody answer the phone. I called 4 times and waited for 20 minutes and still nobody answer the phone. End up I have to uber to the hotel, When I asked the front desk staff for the reason of not answering the phone, he said he was busy. But actually there was no other customer arrived hotel at that time.

I was given a key that did not work. I returned to the desk and was told I was probably at the wrong room.After obtaining a key that did work it was for a double bed room, I reserved a king room. After returning to the desk again I was told that I was being difficult and if he saw me again he would have me removed from the hotel. After finally getting to my king room, the heat didn’t work, the microwave didn’t work, fridge didn’t work. I heated the room with heat from the shower. Terrible experience and the employee at check in should be fired.

The airport shuttle is supposed to run every 30 minutes. I waited 45 minutes. I called the hotel 4 times before someone would answer. Check in took forever because they assume everyone is with an airline. In the room, the TV didn’t work and maintenance never made it to the room to fix the problem.

No one was available to check us in on arrival and we had to wait. No one was there again in the morning to check out and purchase snacks for the day from the little store. The staff when they arrived were abrupt and rude, couldn’t answer basic questions about the provided airport shuttle. Would definitely not stay here and would pick one of the many other airport hotels as an alternative if I’m traveling through Detroit airport again.

There was a long line at the front desk after a bunch of flights got cancelled at DTW for the night. The staff was impressively fast and efficient to get everyone checked in after long delays/cancellations. Super friendly, made the process smooth inn a tough situation.

Its an older property... needs to be updated. That being said.. it suits the need due to location to airport. The entire surrounding areas are the old hotels which have been rebranded or lowered due to age. The room served its purpose. Front desk checks you in and hands you room key.. no talking or questions given..

This was a last minute reservation as we had a misconnect flight due to weather. Although the room was not ready when we arrived, the staff was very accommodating and went above and beyond so we could get something to eat. We got noodles from their shop and kids had some snacks which they never charged us for. Thank you. The hotel was clean and a good size bedroom and bathroom. The airport shuttle is a plus and is this location is close to the airport.

The hallways were not clean. The rooms need updating. The restaurant was a joke. The food came in plastic containers and it was barely edible. It looked like it was frozen food warmed up. The staff in the dining area sat around and talked. I had to go up to them to get my bill. The front desk clerk was playing games on his phone too loud. The transportation was great! The location was great.

This is a bare bones airport hotel. Basic but comfortable room, with good water pressure in the shower. Check-in worker seemed bored out of his mind and was just going through the motions. The on-site restaurant/pub was closed during dinner hours. So we had to take a short walk to find a place. The free airport shuttle is a nice touch. It does not run as frequently as some of the others, but we made it work. The coffee in the lobby was thick like sludge and undrinkable. There were no stirrers.

The property and room were fine to spend the night before going to the airport. But the lack of a dining room or facility was terrible since I was there because of a snowstorm and the walk to the hotel next door was difficult. I had to rely on the few items in the deli case. I understand this will be fixed soon and that is great.

Room was dated but decently clean. No channels on the TV. Toilet ran constantly & bed squeaked like rusted metal. You could hear people in the hallway at all hours of the night. Barely slept. When talking to the front desk, they just repeated you and acted like they didn't understand. Restaurant was closed. No breakfast offerings. They had a coffee bar but it looked like dirty water.
