Parking was terrible, hotel was in the process of updating/construction but was still extremely dirty. Lots of random food on hallway floors. Got into room and there was random puddles of water throughout the entire room.

First off, the place is a construction zone. The entire hotel was being torn apart for refurbishment, the hallways dirty, cluttered , missing skirting, reception using a pop up desk, extremely slow, transfer driver dropped me off at north when i had to go to delta to catch my flight and left saying i can get another ride to delta. Nearly missed my flight becausecof this. Worst ever stay in a hotel. Will NEVER rebook with them. Nothing on the website says they have refurbishment going on!

Was shocked to walk in to lobby which didn’t exist a person sitting at a makeshift desk helped us register through all the noise and mess. Walked by the fitness center which was filled with building materials but no equipment. Going to our room was a real shock it was filthy the shower so dirty neither my husband or I would take a shower. The airport transportation basically didn’t exist the driver argued with the desk clerk said he wouldn’t come back to pick us up!! So we scrambled to get an Uber which of course we had to pay for!!!

Room neglected! Charged me an extra 4.00 fee. The elevator has not worked for weeks and it is not listed or displayed nowhere on the app or inside the facility or on the elevator door inside the elevator or out. Because we push the button elevator would open and close but didn't go anywhere and we all continued to come to the front desk to ask does it work only to find out it didn't and the front desk person never told you that at check-in. It smells horrible and like roach spray. Bath tub so dirty it looks like it never was cleaned out. Toilet sit looks like it was never cleaned off. The bedding sheets comforter pillows couch refrigerator and air conditioner all nasty dirty spots everywhere sticky smelly and floors hallways sticky dirty everywhere unclean and unsanitary unsanitized cups of coffee sitting on the stairs lobby entrance dirty nasty...it looks like people live here and smells that way...it also looks like drugs are delivered here from what I saw on the parking lot and advised the front desk. It looks like a very scary place that you tell people they can't get your money back after booking. This place is disgusting and should never be booked or on your sight so many customer came and left once they came inside. You should be ashame to rent this place out to anyone. The people here all look homeless and make you feel unsafe constantly going in and out there hotel room chasing a high. I want my mom back because I could not shower and slept in my clothes no parking

Holy crap this place was DISGUSTING!!! We checked in and could tell it was the nicest but walking to our room there was garbage all over the hallways and bloody towels in the hallway outside our room. We opened our door and my husband told me not to even look at the toilet because it is so gross and then we looked at the bed and it had stains all over it and the pillow cases were so stained and gross. Then we could hear the couple in the room next door screaming at each other and just felt unsafe. We felt like we couldn't even breathe because everything was so disgusting. We obviously didn't stay. I told the front desk working we were not expecting things to be so disgusting and left and went to a Holiday Inn

Our room smelled like mold and cigarettes. I needed to book a room convenient and close to the airport, the location was ideal but it smelled absolutely awful. There was a weird dried up substance on my bed sheet and my socks were black on the bottom from how dirty it was. I worked all day and arrived late because I just needed something quick since my flight was early the next day, but I was EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE !!! FILTHY

Discourteous front desk. I called prior to arrival asking to confirm free breakfast, and they said yes, it was offered. I show up, and the hotel is completely out of operation - half the rooms are being renovated, there is no breakfast, trash everywhere Dirty walls. No blankets in rooms

Property is in renovation. Rooms are dirty with dust every where. Due to dust, suffereed a lot. Couldn't sleep. Room wasn't cleaned, towels were not replaced.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The room feels spacious and well furnished however the property is old. These comments are specific to our room: It was hard to figure out how to make the tv work. Initially it said no internet connection and check cable. We finally figured it out instructions would have been nice. After exiting the elevator it would have been helpful to have signs indicating which room numbers were in which hallway. Complementary coffee service in the room but no coffee maker. Bathroom door is warped and can’t close. Room is dark with only bedside lamps.

The furniture was not good. The Chester draws, 3 of them would not stay in, they were rolling out. There was only one mini bar of soap in the bathroom. All those were reported to the front desk.

Room (101) Not kept up at all, big gap in door at the bottom (could see light from lobby), horrible yellow lighting in bathroom, room smelled of Lysol, stains on bathroom floor, bed sheets had burned marks, bathroom wallpaper was coming off in a major way in several places, walls had writing on them, check in area was a mess due to counter construction and the two ladies doing the check ins were both scattered, mattress was squeaky, chair in room has many stains on upholstery, etc. General feeling of being unsafe. Wouldn’t have stayed but I had no option with early flight.

The rating on the app must have been very outdated. Either the property was being renovated or condemned. The hallway carpet had cardboard and duct tape over a transition area, hallway carpet was filthy, window drape hanging off one end, shear torn, tub no finish left on it. Check in was on at a card table but staff was very friendly. They put us on a quiet floor, hate to guess what was happening elsewhere. We had no choice but to stay as late & no cancellations. Heating smelled awful so slept in clothes and was cold all night.

This property looked to be undergoing renovation, and, boy, does it ever need them. The reception desk was a basically makeshift area of folding tables with a computer, tablet and credit card reader. That said, the staff was friendly and efficient, both upon check in and out. Inside the room, it was clean and free of signs of bedbugs, which I check immediately upon ebtwring any hotel room. It smelled pleasantly clean inside and all was tidy. The mattress seems to have been around since the 1990\'s, as did all the furniture and drapery. Everything was badly worn, from walls to seating. But it was clean! I booked the King Suite with Jetted Tub. This one is a throwback, for sure! It worked well enough and I thoroughly enjoyed it. In summary, this is not a "Nice" hotel. It\'s old and worn. But it was clean enough, and the price is reasonable for the older and worn amenities at the property. I would definitely book again if the prices stay low, or if they renovate and don\'t jack the prices up too much.

I loved the kindness that the staff extended during my stay. Dani was amazing at check in. I didn't catch the names of the other women but they always made me feel welcome with their kind smiles and greetings. I will definitely recommend a stay at this hotel to everyone I know. I can't wait to see the beauty of the remodel when it is finished. Keep up the awesome work!

Under construction, very dirty seemed like notjing worked, staff was very rude to all customers, always a big like in the lobby just to talk to them, always a long wait at desk. People seemed to not know what to do or how to do to their jobs. Everything was broken and loud, no elevator, no breakfast even though it said it was included. Just over all very disappointed.

This hotel shouldnt be open at all. They are in the midst of construction and every area of the hotel is dingy and dark...it felt like the beginning of a horror film! Had my boyfriend and I not arrived at midnight after flights being cancelled and just needing a bed I would not have stayed. By morning neither of us had slept because the bed was so old and uncomfortable (it sank in the middle!) On top of that the room smelled musty, the toilet didnt flush, and the floor was dirty. I cannot believe the people who run this hotel think it's even halfway decent and still have it listed. The worst part though was the customer service...the two women working that night and the next morning were so rude and didnt seem to care at all that our room had so many problems. This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had and this place shousl be condemned given how unsafe and horrible it is in the midst of construction. Shame on the owners!!!

Carmen and Daija were instrumental in helping me with various elements of my stay. Although the hotel has construction happening, I highly recommend. The shuttle service is provided by a 3rd party but professional nonetheless. 5/5 would stay here again.

The Front desk was very unpleasant, and not welcoming. They charge $100.00 After we checked in, we have paid for full through our Credit Card on $212.21 on 04/09/23. They suppose to charge $12.00 for Deposit as it is mentioned in the receipt, but they charge $100.00 for Deposit which is non of the Hotel charge.

This hotel is very close to the airport so location is great. They also have free parking. The facility is old and some rooms smell of cigarette smoke. They are doing renovations so they have some rooms that are newer. They are currently not serving the complimentary breakfast due to ongoing renovation. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful.

The hotel lobby, elevator, hallway and room was dirty and dusty. The shuttle refused to take us at first as he said he was going elsewhere. Had to wait another 20mins for another shuttle. I had family with me as this hotel was the worst representation of the hotels in DTW Airport. They are supposed to have breakfast however that was coffee a bagel with butter and danish- this is not breakfast!!! So the amenities need to be updated.

They have been under construction for a couple years it seems. No breakfast as advertised. A charge for a room safe and the room doesn’t have one. Drapes ripped. Only 2 towels for 3 people. Is convenient to airport but so are other hotels so I won’t stay here again until renovations are done. It is not worth the price.
