The desk staff was great and pleasant. Unfortunately my friend had to request new sheets due them being soiled with other bodily fluids. There was a hole in the overhang where you were picked up. The washer and dryer were out. Some guests were told they didn’t have extra towels. Then on the last day of our stay the elevator went down. Luckily the stairs weren’t too bad but it was an inconvenience nevertheless.

We booked a total of 5 rooms because we were coming to a church convention. When we got to the hotel to check in, the lady at the front desk advised us that they only had rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors and the elevator was out of service. That would have been fine with us except for the fact that we had 2 elderly ladies with us who were unable to walk up and down stairs. The desk clerk did everything she could to accommodate us and she is the ONLY reason i’m not rating it poor all the way around. The rooms were old and not maintained…they even accidentally gave us a room where the bed hadn’t been made up! Yuck!

First off, the staff is awesome. The hotel itself has some wear and could use a refresh, but if you don't mind a few rough edges, it is fine. I did opt to change rooms as the first room assigned had a lingering scent which was unappealing to me. Desk attendant was understanding and accommodated my room change request. Small workout center if you want to take advantage and it is close to the airport.

The hotel was clean, but a little old. The bathroom sink was on the outside with the toilet and bath in its own room. This was not too much of a problem. The hotel says there is a 24 hour shuttle, but be mindful that the drop off spot to the airport will require you to take the elevator up to the departure lounge. This is very inconvenient if you have more than one piece of luggage. The hotel did not inform me of where the drop off spot would be and I had to struggle with three pieces of luggage after the shuttle driver rudely told me to 'get out of his way' after dropping me off. Also, there is only one washer and dryer for the laundry services provided at the hotel. Overall the hotel is okay for a one night stay with maybe a carryon luggage, but is a bit is inconvenient if you're planning to stay longer. Also, if you have more than one piece of luggage, it's best to request an Uber to the airport.

Avoid this hotel. The elevator is broken which means taking your luggage and anything else up and down the stairs your entire trip which was 3 days. No one is repairing it, it’s just out of order but they don’t tell you this prior to booking. The front desk person at night over the weekend wasn’t pleasant or friendly even with issues with the room, the keys or just in passing. She never apologized for any inconvenience caused by anything. I would never stay at this place again. I switched rooms because the first room mattress had a visible blood stain which took pictures of. The whole place just needs a deep cleaning or updating. Bathrooms smell like the shower curtains need to be washed and the tile needs to be scrubbed near the toilet.

There are several food options within walking distance and the hotel breakfast offers hot food options, although it was the same scrambled eggs and sausage for every day I was there. The staff was great and very helpful. The room has seen better days though. It had peeling paint in the bathroom, a toilet that doesn't flush easily (requiring multiple flushes), and a shower insert that had lost most of its coating. Everything was very clean though. The biggest issue was the carpet, which turned my feet and socks black from walking across it. Since I was only using it as a place to sleep, I just wore socks when I was in the room. Other than that, it was reasonably quiet (planes fly over because it's right by the airport) and everyone was helpful.

The musty odor is noticed immediately when opening room door. Pillows are inadequate, 3 approximately 17 x 17 pillows in cases are on each bed. No standard pillow was found on either bed.

This is far from the crown jewel of the Wyndham family. It is a crap hole. The front desk clerks are absolutely lovely and the best part of the entire hotel, other than the folks who clean (trying to put lipstick on a pig). The exterior signage is not lit up at all. You cannot see it from the road. The repairs were done by 1st year shop students. The halls were smeared in some type of fluid. The lobby door doesn't open all of the way, which is a fire escape hazard. There has been significant water damage at some point. What has happened to this once beautiful hotel is a travesty. The people are trying but there is not much they can do when the foundation they are working with is trash. Wyndham, do better! You have a practically brand new place across the street that looks awesome!

The bed sheets had many hairs in them, as well I found a bandaid stuck to the side of the side table. The side table would not stay close I had to prop it up with crushed cups to make it stay closed. There is no stuffing in the pillows the pillow cases had to be folded over and shoved into a ball to create something that resembled a pillow. There was barely any hot water. You had to flush the toilet 3-4 times before it would actually go down. There were cobwebs everywhere in the bathroom corners. The amount of noise coming from upstairs was unbearable. The planes flying- we get that. But the stomping all night was crazy. This was a terrible stay- highly do not recommend.

Beware of purchasing drinks from their pantry as they sold me an well expired Coke and didn’t even apologized for it. The rooms are old, but the bed is comfy. Sadly, their walls are paper thin and I could hear everything on the rooms beside me. I was not able to sleep at all because of noisy neighbours and reception did not help at all.

Front desk was awesome, did her best to accommodate us! The rooms are worn, dated, and in disrepair. Curtains drooping with broken slides. Tv didn't work and it smelled really bad. Front desk changed our room and the second was better than the first but still needs improvement. In all I would have to say that I wouldn't choose this property again unless it was renovated and thoroughly cleaned.

I’ve stayed a this hotel a few times over the last few years when traveling and just staying overnight. Just to sleep before a flight out of town. It’s great for that. It has what you need, is clean and has friendly staff and a shuttle to the airport. It’s not a place to stay for vacation. As a single woman, I feel a bit uneasy in the location. Its RIGHT off the interstate and right by the airport. Police generally patrolling the area. I spoke to the police once - just general conversation- and they said to be aware of my surroundings. Not to scare anyone- but just to pass along the info. I have always had a pleasant time at the Baymont In and have never had any problems!

I feel very much we got what we paid for. The room had a “pool water smell”. The bathroom wasn’t clean, the curtains were torn, and the fridge was broken. When we first arrived I questioned if the bathroom was even cleaned. A used towel was still hanging on the door and the toilet paper roll had just enough paper on it for 1 use. The pillows were so small they looked like throw pillows not sleeping pillows. At breakfast the next morning by 7:30 almost all of the food was gone and it wasn’t restocked. We had to ask for plates and water. All of the yogurt and prepacked muffins were gone and we waited over 20 minutes for the hot food to be restocked. No one was readily available to ask.
