Great location, walking distance to so much! Also very short drive into downtown, really nice and clean facility, pool is small but what can ya do?

Only one elevator functioning. Unacceptable

The only reason I did not give this hotel 5 stars is because their parking is behind/under the hotel and costs $45 a day. However they had a shuttle to Dana Farber and back which was extremely convenient and didn’t cost a thing. Otherwise it is a very clean and very nice facility.

Nice location, lovely inner courtyard. The pool is a pistage stamp sized joke.

The self parking was 50 dollars per day!

Clean room, Coolidge Corner is a great location, convenient parking (in and out privileges). Small but well-equipped gym.

One elevator was not working, resulting in a long wait time to go to the floor.

The hotel location is great! Food and commute is access is amazing. However, one of the two elevators was out of order for all 4 nights we stayed. This caused long wait times to get to the room. Additionally, housekeeping skipped servicing our room one day and hotel management wasn’t able to service after 6p when we called. They gave us fresh towels but given we were a family, unmade bed and dirty bathrooms actually caused us inconvenience.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The parking fee is $50 per day, which I found quite expensive. The gym is very small with limited equipment, making it difficult to get a good workout. Additionally, the pool is much smaller than it appears in the pictures, which was disappointing.

Clean, and very friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again!

Our first night was unpleasant. We were on the 8th floor and we could hear a rumble and vibration from the roof equipment all night long. We were moved to another room which we greatly appreciated and slept quite well. There was a hassle getting the shower water to regulate. The bathtub was easily regulated but every time we turned on the shower head it would be one extreme or the other, never balanced. On a positive note, the housekeeping was excellent.

Very clean and updated hotel as well as excellent customer service. Location right in the center of Brookline restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Very good stay and will come back again.

The room was not clean. There were bugs in the bathroom. When I went to take a shower the morning after I checked in I found a heavy coating of black hair in the shower - my hair is white. The amenities were incredibly sparse - one bar of soap in the bathroom and canisters of soap and shampoo - no lotion, q tips, or makeup mirror. Not welcoming to women travelers. I will say when I complained at the front desk the morning after we checked in, the bathroom was thoroughly cleaned after that but I could not get the sight of that black hair in the shower out of my mind. Not the quality of room or amenities i expect from Marriott. I will not be returning.

Room was not Bert clean - shower was dirty and counter top had toothpaste on it from another guest. We had a family emergency and had to leave a day earlier and tried to see if we could get a partial refund and was told only if someone booked our room so basically we weren’t getting anything. I was hoping for a little compassion.

Great location. Friendly housekeeping mid stay, but at check-in linens on bed (one sheet and foot spread) had what sppeared to be small blood stains? Couch cushion was stained on top. When we flipped it the underside was very very stained. Called down twice at night extra blankets/linens. Eventually got them but not until we asked a different desk worker after shift change. Bistro area was odd. One lady made a coffee late at night, one guy said they did not have coffee at night. We were there 5 days and overall the place is clean, nice, safe, a great choice…but room wasn’t super clean and seriously plan to eat at one of the many other options nearby.

The room was clean. There are convenient transportations everywhere and would recommend to people who plans to stay in Boston for a while.

The beds were comfortable and the towels and sheets were clean. However, there was a stain on the rug when we arrived, there was no microwave in the room, the credenza that held the mini fridge had a broken hinge that caused me to catch my fingers several times when I went to close the door, housekeeping came in twice and did replace used towels and facecloths but never vacuumed all week and during the day before my last night there a bag of personal items was stolen.

I thought the hotel was extremely clean except the shower in my room there was long pieces of hair all over the shower walls . Obviously it had not been cleaned . The night staff was very friendly compared to the earlier in the day staff. Other than that i would suggest it would be nice for the cost of the rooms to atleast offer coffee/tea in the Lobby and a filled cold water container( which was empty) for anyone like myself you is a early riser instead of having to wait for Starbucks to open or going elsewhere .

The hotel room had peeling wallpaper, the end table was dirty. The chair in the room had some spilled dried liquid on it. There were crumbs on the TV stand area. The tub had some rusty holes on it.The tub also had hair in it. The vent in the shower was very coated with dust. The shelf under the sink in the bathroom was also dusty. The room in general was dirty and needed upgrades. I would of complained but we were only there one night, so it wasn't worth my time.

Good overall. Hard to get to and rooms kind of dark

Comfortable bed, couch in room and fridge. Large room, nice comfort.

I booked a room for 4 adults through Expedia. The room had a sofa bed that was only a twin. When we opened it we realized it and we also did not have an sheets for the bed. We had to go down to ask for them. We also asked for a roll away bed and we were told that there were no more. This made for very uncomfortable accommodations for 4 adults.

The room was very clean. The bed was so uncomfortable the mattress was hard and lumpy. I wish there was room service since I was there with my sister who was having treatment at Dana Farber and couldn’t be around people

Great location for our visit to Brookline. Property was nice. HVAC in room was not consistent and unusually loud.

Nice enough place, but a little old. The air-conditioning needs major work. It’s very loud and from its position blows air all over you as you’re trying to sleep. But the staff is nice and the area is great.

The property is located in a prime location, easy access to multiple train lines, very walkable, close to Fenway, Charles River, and you can even walk to downtown in a nice warm day (~30 minutes). The rooms are very spacious as well as the lobby area.

This hotel is in a great location with lots of options nearby. HOWEVER, the hotel claims that a room with a King bed and a pullout sleeps four people. The pullout bed is NOT a full bed,as advertised....it is a TWIN!!! Unless you're gonna put 3 people in a King bed, someone is gonna be sleeping on the floor. We requested roll away beds and they stated they didn't have any so one person did indeed have to sleep on the floor. We asked for extra pillows and blankets because there was not much concern for the problem at the front desk when it was explained that 1 person had to sleep on the floor because we were misled. Great hotel but no way on Earth should the Hotel be claiming that the King rooms sleep 4 people!!!!

Really loved the location. Many options for dining nearby and the train station was just a short walk. The staff were kind and the room was huge.

Staff was pleasant and friendly. Location is exceptional. That's where the positives end. I was disappointed in the quality of the room, furnishings, lighting, fixtures, and interior spaces. This hotel did not meet the standards of a Marriott. In particular, the bed was uncomfortable and the sheets scratchy, pillows thin, and blanket very thin (in winter) with no duvet. The room was dark and narrow. The carpet was scratchy. The shower needed updating, as well as the furniture in the room. Worst of all, the lighting was dark and difficult to access, and together with the black and dark stripes, as well as heavy furniture, gave the room an oppressive, uncomfortable feel. For the price, this place really needs to upgrade its beds, bedding, and lighting at the very least. Finally, the reservation indicated there would be a microwave. There was no microwave, and they would not bring one to the room. I packed a coffee device to make my own coffee stronger French press and breakfast in the am, so this was very frustrating.

I love the location of the hotel in the Brookline area; it’s such a wonderful place. However, I was very disappointed with the lobby staff. The hotel room had a musky smell, and the decor felt a bit outdated. Additionally, the sink drain was very slow. Most importantly, the lobby staff were not very attentive. When I checked out, the staff member was distracted on her phone and texting. I asked if I could get a printed receipt, and she responded that she was busy talking to the front desk staff and would email the bill later. It felt like I was being ignored. Later, when I tried to retrieve a charger I left in the room, I called ahead but didn’t receive a response. When I returned to the lobby, the staff member was still absorbed in her phone. It took a long time, and I only received my charger after being assisted by the cleaning lady. Overall, while I enjoyed the location, the service at the front desk was disappointing.

We were very disappointed with the staff working at the property. First, they refused to check us in at 2:00pm saying there were no rooms available. Then, when we finally checked in they gave us a wrong room that could not accommodate 3 people. We were in town for my daughter's race, and had to check in at 9:30pm after the race was over. We went out to eat right after check in and got back around 10:30-11:00pm. When it was time to go to bed, we found out that out sheets had yellow spots on them. I called the front desk and asked if I can have clean sheets. I waited for a while and called back to see if I can pick up the sheets myself as it was 12am and we were very tired. At that point, a man on the phone named Dean told me that he has no idea why I was calling so late, and went on to say that I had all the time since 2:00pm to check my sheets and he was not sure why I did not check my sheets sooner. I told him that I did not check in at 2:00pm as I was told there were no rooms available, and I was not aware that hotel had a policy for guests to check the sheets for cleanness. I informed him that the only reason I was calling was because hotel failed to provide me with clean bed. He interrupted me saying ok, ok , just wait for the sheets. There was no apology for the dirty bed I got or for the inconvenience. Upon check out no-one even inquired how was our stay. Despite location being excellent, we will not be staying in this hotel ever again.

The staff were very helpful. We requested a blanket and a few other items and they were very responsive!

Check in staff was rather lame and inattentive. In part hard to understand (heavily accented English). More interested in talking to each other at first before taking care of the guest. Check out was much better.

We have stayed here many times. The staff now recognize us and treat us like family.

Staff and room both excellent. Good location near public transit. Front desk staff especially knowledgeable and friendly.

Overall the stay was good, the bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. There was an issue with our room key being deactivated prior to our check out time. We heard many other guests complaining at the front desk with that same issue that morning, when we brought the issue to the front desk staff they didn’t respond favorably. They didn’t want to figure out why it was happening to so many guests they reacted like it was an inconvenience to them. It is unfortunate when customers bring an issue forward only to feel unheard.

The front desk staff was terribly rude when we let them know there was no body wash soap in the shower responding “well I didn’t do it”. I would not recommend this hotel.

The front desk staff was very professional, polite and helpful. Hotel was immaculate. 5 stars iant enough. 10/10 recommend.

It was really a great trip everyone at the front desk and everyone in the café were terrific. I’d have any one of them working for me at any time really an incredible staff kudos to you. They are the best.

This is where my husband and I stay every time we’re in Boston. It’s in the heart of Coolidge Corner. Steps from public transit and within walking distance of many restaurants and stores.

This hotel is perfect for a quick trip to Boston. Brookline is a great town of its own. Many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The Green Line T has a stop right across the street which makes it super easy to go to and from Boston and just an easy 32 minute walk to Fenway.

Excellent location in Coolidge Corner. Walking distance to BU and BC. Right near the Green Line. Lots of great restaurant options and Trader Joe’s.

Enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Courtyard Brookline. Staff were great and we loved the location- very close to transit, some good restaurants and Trader Joes. The gym was well equipped.

Lovely hotel - clean, safe, well-maintained. Neighborhood is charming and packed with restaurants of all kinds. Hotel is 2 minutes on foot from trolley line that is a straight shot to downtown Boston. All in all, a great place to stay if you're traveling to Boston for business or tourism.

Conveniently close to shops, lots of food options, and the green line.

Nice accomodations and very convenient location. Just replace the Statbucks with your own kitchen. They are a rip-off. By 9:00 am, they were out of almost every pastry and the few remaining croissants were stale and hard. And reduce that parking fee of $50 or better yet make it complimentary. $50 is crazy especially when street parking is rather impossibile.

Location is perfect! Hotel is clean, comfortable and the bed and linens were so comfortable and cozy after a long day of walking and sightseeing. I wish they had a true restaurant with food that didn’t appear warmed up,but the drinks and Jacqueline at the bar, wonderful! Definitely recommend to everyone to stay there!

Overall the hotel is great. The location is wonderful and the main reason I stayed there again. I wish there was some coffee and basic breakfast items available without purchase.

Ok stay until we went to the bar/Bistroon the first floor for a light dinne. The waitperson, a middle aged Black woman with an accent, was totally incompetent. She brought us our drinks after a long wait, and didn’t nother to give us napkins. Then we had to ask her twice for our dinner order. Finally I pushed open the kitchen door and had to ask someone in the kitchen to bring us our order, which was hummus- all it required was microwaving. And of course, it was delivered without utensils. To make matters worse, she had her 2 year daughter or granddaughter sitting at a table the entire time. How does somebody so incompetent get hired?! It reflects badly on your management. I of course won’t recommend this hotel, I would tell someone to go the Courtyard Marriott in Cambridge

No real breakfast, long line for coffee

The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Parking is an additional $50 per night in the attached garage, the on site bistro is limited and pricey. There were maintenance issues like a broken door handle, and a weird shower/ bath faucet. The location is convenient and walkable to the many shops and restaurants in Brookline.

Nice hotel and good location too. Restaurants and stores within walking distance. Easy access to tram station. Would have appreciated if b’fast was included.

The coffee was fair for a Starbucks. E c erything was a la carte and expensive. There were alot of options for food close to the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location for Brookline Massachusetts. Limited in hotel dining. It was standard for a Courtyard by Marriott. Clean, safe, etc.
