I give 5 stars for the hotel staff, food, and service. I chose this hotel primarily because of the indoor pool. This pool is unusable because the water was freezing cold. Also, toilet paper is like sandpaper, had to buy our own.

Overall, definitely a great place! Location is conveniently close to the freeways and so many dining options and ia right down the street for shopping at the outlets! Check in was super easy and had no issues whatsoever. There was plentiful parking, the pool and hot tub were indoors and the gym was 24 hours! Staff was super friendly! The room I had (king bed) was super spacious and would definitely come back!

Building under construction. No lobby seating area. Washer/dryer out. Only reserved this property because of pay washer and dryer. We are in the last leg of a 10 day trip and really need to wash. Terrible experience. Rooms are good though

When we entered our room, it was horrible concentrated smell of Cholorox. We opened the window right away, felt like we were all suffocated. Then, i went to the bathroom to wash my hands . The sink looks gross with some small hairs, only to find out it was clogged. I called the front desk and they said they will let someone to fix it within 15 minutes. Since we can't wait I asked for a new room instead. They gave us the next door room which was a little bit better smells. The lady in the front desk was apologetic. I showed her the picture of the sink.

Staff were very accommodating when we found a bug in our room upon arrival. They quickly changed our rooms and would have offered a discount on rate but since I booked through Expedia they were unable too due to it being a third party booking. This was our second stay here and the first with a big bug in the bathroom. Dinning options are good.

The room we were given was 225 which is closest to the elevator and ice machine. I am a light sleeper and I thought that would be an issue. The real issue was the lack of insulation in the building. Someone in the room upstairs was walking around at 2am for about half an hour and we could hear every footstep, the toilet flushing… The AC in our room had an inconsistent fan noise with a rattle. There was leftover food crumbs on the floor when we arrived. The staff in the breakfast area were visiting with one another and blocking the food and coffee. Positives: the front desk staff were friendly and professional. There were packaged Udi’s GF items at breakfast. Recommendations: if you stay here, request the top floor away from the elevator and check your room thoroughly for cleanliness before you unpack.

The property was great but my two main gripes were: a) the curtain couldn’t be closed all the way so we had a streetlight shining through the window all night long. Very annoying. Also b) the A/C kept turning off multiple times in the middle of the night so we kept on sweating, with or without covers on.

Staff was super friendly. The room was very clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The only downside during our stay was that our TV did not work, and it was not able to be fixed during our stay. I contacted the manager about the issue, and she responded in a timely manner. I really appreciate her time and compensation.

They tried to take my payment BEFORE I arrived (which is clearly not ‘pay at property as is stated on the Expedia website!!!) but I hadn’t been able to switch to another card, as planned but the RUDE front desk guy was completely terrible and had an air of superiority and told me that since the charges were unable to go through they cancelled my booking and they were now at full capacity but he was sure I could get a room somewhere else close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a newer property and well planned out. We travel a lot and we were impressed with the thoughtful design of room, style and cleanliness. However, we were very surprised at the "I don't really care" attitude of ALL the employees we interfaced with. Really turned us off and we'll think twice about staying at a Holiday Inn Express in future.

When we arrived, we were told that our reservation was canceled because our card on file was not valid. We called Expedia, they had no idea. Apparently the hotel did send me a message in my spam email telling us to update the card, but no other communications after that. I wished the hotel communicated the cancellation to expedia so I could make another booking.

Was very disappointed late at night I was asleep and an employee was knocking on my door trying to get into my room. I guess not realizing that the room was occupied. It wasn’t a pleasant way to wake up someone trying to get into my room.

Shady neighborhood. Questionable people staying there/hanging out. Lack of response from management. No help from front desk staff. Never got room service. Never received a call as promised. Will definitely return to this place as it is in the middle of everything if you’re willing to drive. It’s 2hrs from Carmel Beach and Monterey Beach. One hr from San Francisco, 30 minutes from Sacramento and even a bit over 2 hrs to Virginia City, NV. The location of this hotel is definitely the most ideal if you plan to travel and see the surrounding areas.

The beds were the most comfortable I've slept in a hotel .everything was super clean The showers had glass doors instead of shower curtains ..The staff was amazing. Breakfast is included and it was the most complete breakfast I've had at any hotel and included all healthy choices fresh fruit eggs sausage bacon etc very impressive. There's a breezeway out back with umbrellas and tables that you can hang out in the evening And the coffee machine works 24 hours with freshly ground beans I'll be back to this place ! My son lives in Vacaville. Also the price very reasonable The best I've ever found for the quality that you get

Spotlight shining into the window was unbelievable. We pushed bags against the drapes in an attempt to hold the drapes against the walls. Our door bounced against the frame every time there was another door in the hallway that was closed. There was no regular coffee at breakfast. I attempted communication with an employee to request coffee. She indicated that there was decaf available. It took several attempts to get her to have someone fill the carafe with regular coffee. The potatoes seemed to be microwaved as they were not browned at all.

The cleaning crew was exceptional—truly 5 stars! The rooms and the property were spotless, maintained meticulously from corner to corner. Their attention to detail made the stay comfortable and pleasant. However, the reception staff, particularly in the morning, seemed disengaged and unwelcoming. No greetings, no smiles, and an overall attitude that made guests feel like an inconvenience. A bit of warmth and hospitality at the front desk would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience. Lastly, the pancake machine could use an upgrade. The pancakes came out flat, hard, and unappetizing. Replacing it with a waffle maker—or any better alternative—would be a great improvement and something guests could genuinely look forward to during breakfast.

What a great place to stay when visiting family in Vacaville! The pictures online definitely reflect what you see in person. The breakfast was very good with so many options. There were 2 gluten free items which we appreciated. Udi bagels and blueberry muffins. The ladies who work in the kitchen are very nice and do a great job keeping it well stocked! The rooms are very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again.
