Great hotel, very clean. Only complaint is the shuttle service from the airport. These shuttle buses are always hurried and have skipped me in the past . Also the drivers aren’t always aware of the hotel details they are servicing.

Check-in was fast and staff was nice, however, we were exhausted when we got in around midnight, so I missed some hidden fees. I didn’t realize parking was $33/night and I have a $50 charge that I thought was a deposit but it hasn’t been returned yet. The room looked clean, but the shower was missed. There was hair on the wall and maybe a hair product. I didn’t complain, it wasn’t a huge deal but the very clean Super 8 we stayed at the night before set the cleanliness bar high. Beds were comfortable and it was a nice surprise to not only see shampoo, conditioner and body wash but body lotion was also available in large bottles. The warm cookies at check-in were great and appreciated.

The toilet in room 109 didnt always flush properly and overnight on my last day some turds and sewage backed into the toilet. None of it was mine and I hadn’t flushed anything into the toilet except urin for two days. There hadnt been a rainstorm or anything that could have explained this.

Property was great, location was amazing. Can improve on housekeeping services. Housekeeping was haphazard, sometimes they would make one bed and leave the other, half filled coffee stations ( sometimes the creamer would be missing, sometimes the coffee) etc.

Pros: the hotel room is clean, spacious and the bed is comfortable. Cons: - the wall is thin as you can hear your neighbour talking and the TV. - washroom lacks hooks/bars to hang up wet bath towels for 2 people. That can easily be fixed by installing extra hanging bar or hooks.

This room was good, with a nice view of the bay. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed we’ve slept in, it would have been hard to get up, except there were soccer fields next to the hotel and there were children screaming from about 7:00 am on!

My only complaint is the shower water pressure was not good. The shuttle supposedly ended at 12midnight per the website. But after I paid $30 for a taxi, I check in and see the shuttle was actually running until 1:15AM.

The room did not look like the photos online. I was very disappointed with the room that we got as I picked the hotel for the bathroom and we got a different type of bathroom. Plus, the windows did not really keep the sound of the planes from being loud.. I could not sleep that well.

We requested a crib for our toddler, but wasn’t in the room when we checked in late at night. Asked reception for it FOUR TIMES before they after several hours finally said they didn’t have one, despite accepting my request in advance and advertising that they have cribs. So we had to make our own kinda crib and sleep with one eye open all night. Communication between employers and the different teams at the hotel is obviously very poor - they even said as much to us. Most employers were very kind though and gave us breakfast next day as compensation. And the food was surprisingly delicious. But all in all a very disappointing experience.

Lady at check-in couldn’t even muster a smile. Didn’t offer us the complimentary cookie that the other guests were receiving. Definitely did NOT feel welcome. Management needs to conduct refresher training or not staff this person at customer-facing tasks. Will not be coming back to this location.

Between checkin and checkout, everything was great. Staff friendly and polite, room clean and comfortable, WiFi worked well. I would give it 5 stars except that the hotel made me it very hard for me to get in touch via email. After booking I had a request and needed to contact the property. I booked the room via Hotels.com, which has a feature to message the property, and I used it but got no reply. Next, I tried the hotel website (Hilton.com) and could find a phone number but no email. I'm an international customer and it would be an expensive toll call, and I prefer email over calling anyway. Next I tried the Honors website (I've been a member for more than 20 years) and emailed their customer service. They replied but initially couldn't find the info, and later replied with the wrong email for a Doubletree property nearby. When I emailed that addresss, I got a reply from a person who didn't even have a Hilton email domain but some unrelated one (poor brand management!). This person repliied that I'd reached the wrong property but didn't offer any help in finding the right email. When I emailed her requesting this, she replied that she didn't know because the property was managed by another company (!) Then I emailed Honors again and they finally gave me the correct email. It came with an apology but no indication that the problem would be foxee. By this time I was pretty frustrated and had wasted a bunch of time getting the run around. Come on Hilton you can do way better!

A crazy person was yelling at 3 am in the morning outside my room on the 3rd floor and banging in someone’s door , I called the front desk no answer, this lasted over 20 min I couldn’t go back to bed and felt the security in this hotel really is lacking , no keys access any floor , no security guard . No one at the front desk answered ! This hotel needs renovation asap and upgrade in every level !!!!

It took around an hour to check at the hotel standing at the front desk because of some issues between Double Tree and Hotels.com. I never received an adequate explanation for the issue or a sincere apology from the hotel who just blamed Hotels.com, and I certainly never heard from Hotels.com. the room itself was fine and had no issues but the service was not what i would have expected from a Doubletree.

I'll be honest: I had a pretty bad stay here. As a Hilton Honors member, I'm kind of shocked it was such a dismal experience. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is that the staff did everything in their power to make it better. Upon check-in I was told the room I reserved weeks prior had been given away, so I was upgraded to a suite. That "suite" was a huge corporate meeting/bedroom combo, which was right above the gym. At 4:30 AM, the someone was dropping weights and didn't stop until the sun came up. Then, as I was checking out the toilet flooded all on its own. Luckily, Edwin at the restaurant took care of me at breakfast, Corey addressed all my concerns upon checkout, and Khanh followed up with a text to see if there was anything DoubleTree could do to make it right. That's service. Would I stay here again? Probably not. However, the staff made it right and that's service you hardly get anywhere these days.

Hotel was good overall. Front desk staff were very helpful. Easy for guests to misread booking so Hilton needs to make it clear that there are two Hilton Hotels within 500 yards. One is a Double Tree Hilton but easy to make a mistake when taking the airport shuttle. Breakfast buffet was not good value for money, scrambled eggs, link sausages and potatoes were not kept warm. Simple reason, they use deep pans so food on top gets cold quickly. Obviously very convenient to SFO with reliable frequent shuttle.

Called to make sure we were headed in the right direction to find the airport shuttle and the lady gave us a perfect description of the van. It was there in 5 minutes. Quick check in. Not excited about dinner at their 37 North restaurant. Good was only ok and pricey.

This is the best hotel we've stayed at near SFO, and we've tried a lot of them. Comfortable bed, lots of activity downstairs and a fun vibe. Starbucks in center of huge lobby that is a nice place to hang out. Best ever breakfast with friendly service.

The hotel was very close to the airport and convenient. It has a shuttle service to and from the hotel so we didn’t have to rent a car. The location was nice and had a partial bay view. The Thai chicken wings were very good. One caveat, when eating at the restaurant, be sure to check the bill as they sometimes add an automatic service fee (tip) to the bill. It was added to our breakfast bill but not the dinner bill.

airport shuttle took 35 minutes even though it said 15 minutes. When we arrived they did not have a room for us, it took them a bit of time to “move things around” to accommodate the room we chose and paid for. Everytime we called the front desk for towels or toilet paper it took 2-3 phone calls. They offered us free complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience at check in and we got sick from the breakfast
