Beyond Karon location is perfect for those who want to be near but not next to the party. Pool and beach area were beautiful. It would be nice to have hotel sponsored beach chair & umbrella and, it was easy to work with the folks renting the chairs and umbrellas. Be sure to not keep any food or leave soda/juice spills, bc the small ants move quickly.

The breakfast was great and room fairly comfterble. My only complaint was the bed was very hard but not a deal breaker. The staff was always super polite and on point. Would stay here again. Was not able to swim due to very rough sea state and red flag warning so if you want to swim in the ocean be sure to check the seasons for calm seas. Pool was very nice and connnected to a bar which was fun and awesome.

Vi benyttet rullestol fra rom til spisesal og rundt ute. Det er ikke heis på hotellet, men vi fikk rom på samme nivå som resepsjon og spisesal. Men hvis du vil til bassenget må du kunne gå i trapp. Betjeningen var i overkant hjelpsomme og ville helst trille fra resepsjonen og til rommet. Renholdet var bra, men synes det ble lenge å vente til renhold kom på morgenen for å bytte strandhåndklær så vi byttet med dem i renholdsrom i 1 etg hver ettermiddag. Stoler ved bassenget er som regel opptatt fra kl 07.00, så vær tidlig ute. Det er fliser i gangen og blir ekko når noen snakker og går. Det er også til tider lytt mellom rommene. 2 etg hadde vi maur på rommet, men ikke i 3 etg. ikke ha mat og søtsaker fremme. Hotellet ligger på en liten bakketopp, og man må litt ut i trafikken for å komme på fortauet. Det er høye kanter opp til fortau som ikke er egnet for rullestol hvis du vil mot Kata. Promenaden langs Karon strand er fin for rullestol. Ingen støy fra trafikk, men kan av og til være bass fra naborestaurant, men de ga seg kl 23:00. Man sovner til bølgeskvulp på dette hotellet som ligger fint, og vi vil tilbake dit.

Great location on the beach good sea access. Swimming pool area...too narrow.. and sun lounger access limited. Great though to have sun loungers in ground floor rooms. Lobby and furnishing generally dated and ratan seating in restaurant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beyond Resort Karon which we booked last minute due to issue with another hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and room was great if a tad small for a twin share howver the view was fantastic, could not beat it both from the room and from the hotel restaurant when dining for breakfast. We swam in both pools which overlook the beach, could not get any closer to the beach if you tried!

Perfect location close to all the action in Kata. Easy access to the beach and at the quieter end of Karon Beach. Lovely spot to swim with no waves. The pool is great however the whole put your towel on a sunbed first thing in the morning to claim a spot that you hardly use is ridiculous. It’s just inconsiderate as hardly anyone would use the pool or sunbeds. I haven’t experienced this at other hotels in different areas of Phuket. I wouldn’t stay here again for this reason. Nice to not have screaming kids around, so it was a nice peaceful place to relax. The breakfast is nice. Staff very friendly.

This was my third stay at the resort and the first time in three years after the pandemic. I mostly love the location, the pool by the beach (with a bar), and its coziness. The hotel is directly connected to the southern end of Karon Beach, and you can just come and go to the beach as you wish without leaving the facility. The hotel is not luxury or fancy but it does have its charm.

We stayed for 5. Nights and enjoyed our stay. The staff was excellent and the facilities were just ok. For the cost of our stay expected more. Our room smelt apon arrival, there are no ice machines on the property, the food was good, the pool was not heated but not uncommon to find. The pool didn’t appear to have a working filtration system. The shower in the room had a sign that said very hot and anytime someone flushed in other rooms flushed the water got scolding hot for a few moments. Also we had three rooms and one room was 1K usd more forever same room. I would stay there again but at a discounted rate.

Unfortunately, I found myself in Phuket as the typhoon was making landfall in Vietnam and creating havoc with Phuket weather. Hotel is clean, quiet, and in a decent location. Staff was personable. Breakfast was not good. Didn’t get to use the pool or go to the beach because of the weather.

Beyond Karon We stayed at Beyond Karon for one week in January 2026 and it was wonderful. Staff so friendly and helpful in reception, breakfast and restaurant. Especially Naicorn with his excellent service and how he always made you feel special and welcome both for breakfast and lunch! The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The ocean view is spectacular. The beach is a little more quiet just down from the hotel and quite busy beside. From your sun-bed you can hear the lounge music coming from the beach club inext door which is nice. The road just outside is busy with shopping, massage places and restaurants. This is how a hotel at the beach should be like. ⭐️ We will certainly come back!

The people who work there are amazingly kind and friendly. The resort was very quiet, probably because it's adults only, and the breakfast options are plentiful. The only issue I had was that the water in the shower would go from where I had it set to scaldingly hot (there is a sign saying very hot water) and back again, every minute or so.

This property is very dated so much so be careful taking a shower. The water turns scolding hot potentially you can get second-degreeburns with that said there is a warning sign in the shower. There is no room service and the bartender at the pool bar has a total attitude when you ask for a bucket of ice, and you’re only allotted four small bottles of water a day according to the staff. When you leave your room, you must take your room card key, which shuts off all air conditioning and electric so that you can come back to an extremely hot room. This hotel is about $100 a night value at best. With the lack of options this hotel had the best beach location.

Not exactly like in the pictures. The location was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The "lobby" is antiquated. It felt like you were at a bank asking for a loan. The hotel does not have 2 twin beds, as some option appeared in the app. It is a King size made out of 2 FIXED twin beds. We paid prime$ for the location and hotel because we wanted plenty of room for two friends. Otherwise we'd have gone for cheaper options with a true actual king size bed. The shower was laughable. There was no wall, instead a floor to ceiling glass, clear glass. The hotel had a curtain on the outside, which could be very easily be opened by accident by the ppl in the room. The glass should be tempered or had contact paper or something to make it more bulletproof. The experience got saved by their morning breakfast! Great food and service. Anyway, this is why I rate it a 3 out of 5.

Great location and adults only. The people are amazing and go out of their way to help you. My only request is to fix the water going super hot as pressure changes. Showers do come with a sign to say hot water but the sudden change in temp can seriously hurt someone if they dont know and already like hot showers. If you can’t fix the problem maybe let people know beforehand so they can lower the temp accordingly.

The staff at Beyond Karon are kind, professional and always willing to help with a warm smile. From the check in to the room itself, it was a exactly what you expect from a “beach resort”. Food: Breakfast is diverse, and includes daily Thai dishes that are perfect for those looking to explore Thai food without the overwhelming if you are not used to it. Room service is very similar. Western and European options too. All priced for the area. Beach: Because of the recent mudslide and flooding there was trash and debris at the beach, but that is just Mother Nature (and terrible tourist) being being exactly what they are. Location: Very tourist oriented, with lots of markets, local traditional Thai food, and fun options too. Phuket is always busy and awake so there is always something open. Overall, whether you are looking for a romantic or chill adult only space, promise Beyond Karon will not disappoint. Hope we can return! Thank you again to all the incredible staff! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beyond Karon. It is ideally situated at the end on Karon beach with lovely views. The hotel is quiet and relaxing. A short walk to the sea, but with a lovely pool complex. Good sunbeds which were easy to obtain without having to put towels down when we were there Breakfast good, pool bar good and reasonably priced. Restaurant for lunch had a good selection, the food we had was lovely and again reasonably priced. We had a sea view room top/3rd floor room, which was excellent. Massive v.confortable bed. Resort very clean and staff very hospitable as are all Thai people. Thoroughly recommend

We had a lovely stay at Beyond Karon. The resort is situated right on the beach and is in the perfect spot at the end of Karon Beach so it’s a little less crowded and everything is walkable. The staff was kind and attentive. The food and room were great too. We will definitely go back!

Amazing hotel!! Super clean, Right on the beach with nice pools, the staff was soooo great, especially the sweet girl at the front desk, Walaporn :) The buffet breakfast was also really good. Highly recommend this place

The location is the best you can ask and was the high point of our stay at the Hotel. However, the staff almost doesn't speak English so there were some miscommunication.

Beyond Karon We stayed at Beyond Karon for one week in January 2026 and it was wonderful. Staff so friendly and helpful in reception, breakfast and restaurant. Especially Naicorn with his excellent service and how he always made you feel special and welcome both for breakfast and lunch! The rooms are clean and have everything you need. The ocean view is spectacular. The beach is a little more quiet just down from the hotel and quite busy beside. From your sun-bed you can hear the lounge music coming from the beach club inext door which is nice. The road just outside is busy with shopping, massage places and restaurants. This is how a hotel at the beach should be like. ⭐️ We will certainly come back!

Great stay. I think they are priced appropriately for what you get. You have direct access to the beach; very convenient to other food options and walkable or short grab bike to Kata. The pool is nice and has a swim up bar. Other guests were nice and the breakfast buffet was good and had an omelet station. It's not an extravagant hotel but well worth it and very enjoyable. There are several quicky marts across the street for more drinks and snacks. Very delicious Indian restaurant is also across the street. Karon was less crowded than Kata and you can easily spend 1 hour walking to the other end of the beach. I would stay here again. Thailand president, please start a program to clean up trash from the beaches. It's shocking to see all of the bottles, bags, plastics, ropes washing up. I'm not knocking the hotel, as I've seen this all over Thailand. You guys would have so many more tourist if you would clean up the beaches.

Location was perfect, as it is nestled up right on the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and always willing to help. The beach was a little dirty in front of the hotel and could have been picked up a little more, but it wasn’t to the extent that it kept us out of the water. Very lovely hotel and staff. Will definitely be going back!

We had a lovely stay at Beyond Karon. The resort is situated right on the beach and is in the perfect spot at the end of Karon Beach so it’s a little less crowded and everything is walkable. The staff was kind and attentive. The food and room were great too. We will definitely go back!

Perfect location close to all the action in Kata. Easy access to the beach and at the quieter end of Karon Beach. Lovely spot to swim with no waves. The pool is great however the whole put your towel on a sunbed first thing in the morning to claim a spot that you hardly use is ridiculous. It’s just inconsiderate as hardly anyone would use the pool or sunbeds. I haven’t experienced this at other hotels in different areas of Phuket. I wouldn’t stay here again for this reason. Nice to not have screaming kids around, so it was a nice peaceful place to relax. The breakfast is nice. Staff very friendly.

The breakfast was great and room fairly comfterble. My only complaint was the bed was very hard but not a deal breaker. The staff was always super polite and on point. Would stay here again. Was not able to swim due to very rough sea state and red flag warning so if you want to swim in the ocean be sure to check the seasons for calm seas. Pool was very nice and connnected to a bar which was fun and awesome.

Hôtel très propre Personnel efficace est discret Les pieds dans l’eau, très bien situé, commodités à proximité, réservation et conseils parfait pour excursions depuis l’hôtel. Petits déjeuners très bien. Un regret toutefois: la restauration qui est en dessous des goûts, saveurs et diversité des restaurants avoisinants. Nous recommandons l’hôtel sans hésitation !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beyond Resort Karon which we booked last minute due to issue with another hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and room was great if a tad small for a twin share howver the view was fantastic, could not beat it both from the room and from the hotel restaurant when dining for breakfast. We swam in both pools which overlook the beach, could not get any closer to the beach if you tried!

Unfortunately, I found myself in Phuket as the typhoon was making landfall in Vietnam and creating havoc with Phuket weather. Hotel is clean, quiet, and in a decent location. Staff was personable. Breakfast was not good. Didn’t get to use the pool or go to the beach because of the weather.
