What guests think

At Best Western Premier Aberdeen Kamloops, travellers often praise clean, comfortable rooms and a convenient location near the highway and shops, while some note busy team weekends, tight parking, and mixed experiences with the pool, waterslide, and hot tub.

Rooms are generally spacious and modern with very comfortable beds, though several guests mention noisy or finicky HVAC and limited soundproofing. Staff are frequently described as friendly and helpful, but some experienced slow or understaffed check-in and inconsistent handling of maintenance or voucher issues. The on-site restaurant draws praise, while breakfast service and voucher value or clarity can disappoint. Overall, a reliable stay with amenities on site and a few manageable caveats.

Helpful staff, informative front desk clerk, really nice room, reasonable price for a family suite with kitchenette, complimentary drinks in the lobby. Warm ambience. Sauna and hot tub were great, but the pool was a bit cold. Should be heated more. Also the waterslides need more water coming down. Breakfast was delicious but very slow.

The front desk staff were lovely. Room was clean and nice. Only challenge was there was no parking left on the property, and we drive an EV and would have loved to be able to charge, however, the EV charging station was blocked by gas vehicles parking there :(

I called the day before to update on a birthday gathering in the pool for my young son. Front desk staff stated that was great. Day of gathering other staff come in to lecture on the gathering. Plus the pool was cold, the hot tub wasn't very hot and the jets didn't work. No robes by the rooms were provided, which lead me to question use of word Premier in the hotel. The elevator was a bit slow, but other then that the hotel was pleasant.

Bathtub and bathroom sink not draining. Informed the front desk in the morning and they promised to get it checked. In the evening while taking a shower, we realized problem hadn't been fixed and we couldn't use the shower. We requested they give us a new room at 9pm. They instead insisted we wait for the maintenance guy to come have a look. At 10.30pm, maintenance guy says he can't fix it and we should get another room. Very frustrating and terrible service for a problem that could have been handled better and easily.

We booked 2 jacuzzi suites to celebrate Valentine’s Day - and the jacuzzis we got were very dirty and covered in black and pink mold… they had clears still present we we checked in … sent a lady up to clean both rooms … we had to personally clean the tub again … if that’s how they train people to clean jacuzzis I would never recommend staying her. Also the cleaner lady smelt so bad she stunk up our whole room and we had to leave! The staff doenst make eye contact when they speak to you - they have no customer service skills … they offered me 1/2 off my next 2 jacuzzi rooms for the inconvenience- am I satisfied? No not really

I was supposed to get breakfast included. I purchased this with the rate. Apparently a voucher was supposed to be given to me when I checked in but it wasn’t. So when I came down for breakfast I was told that it was not included. I assumed that I was mistaken. When I went to check out the front desk attendant said that I had not used my breakfast voucher. Of course by then it was too late. I told the storey that I was never given a voucher or told haw the breakfast worked. I asked if they could refund the additional cost. Of course due to the “system” I couldn’t. No big deal but still an annoyance. Too bad an otherwise nice stay sullied by a less than diligent front desk staff while checking in.

Upon checked in, I was told that I did not have breakfast included. But I did pay for the breakfast service included. Another staff then corrected the issue by saying that yes, you do have breakfast. I was told to pick up my vouchers later. Hmm? I was told my room is at the corner but it's actually in the middle of the floor. Apparently, the staff at the front desk is not well trained.

brutal... When we checked in there was only one girl at check in and a whole tournament of hockey kids were checking in. I asked if I could get a room away from the teams, was completely dismissed and given a room right in the middle of the chaos.. They were running the halls and screaming at all hours of the morning and night. At every time I interacted with the girl at the front desk, she was rude and dismissive. It was a terrible stay, didn't sleep for two nights. Plus it is close to the highway and noisy. I would never stay here again.,

I paid $40 for an add on breakfast through Expedia each night, and had it only be worth a $25 voucher. All in all the price vs. what you get even out. But a few notes, Parking is at a premium, there are not enough parking spaces for the number of rooms and there is very limited on street parking available. The bar is closed and the onsite restaurant is a Sushi restaurant, probably not one for the kids.
