Our stay was excellent. From the breakfast to the swimming pool and the well-equipped gym, everything was modern and very enjoyable. One small remark: extras can be on the expensive side — for instance, a Nivea sunscreen purchased at the pool was €54. Overall, however, an outstanding stay.

Hotel is a bit older. My major complaint is that they have a rooftop Bar at hotel and music goes ALL Igor until 5 AM. We stayed in floor 14 and could her the music loud and entire room vibrated. Couldn’t sleep at all.

My sea-view suite with jacuzzi was amazing, two bathrooms worked out nicely as well. The staff was amazingly friendly, but they did take security VERY seriously; every vehicle driving onto the premises was inspected in and out, and there was a metal detector just inside the lobby door. The multiple restaurants were great, and everything was within walking distance with regards to other dining options, shopping, and sightseeing. It’s actually faster to walk places as traffic in general is a nightmare in all of Istanbul.

Der Aufenthalt im InterConti war sehr gut! Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Von mir gibt es 4 von 5 Sterne, da ich mir gewünscht hätte, dass wenn ich um 22 Uhr im SPA auftauche, welches bis 23 Uhr geöffnet hat, dass ich auch bis 23 Uhr die Leistungen von Sauna, Ruhebereich nutzen kann. Leider wurden dann gegen 22:30 Uhr einzelne Räume bereits das Licht ausgeschaltet und da fühlt man sich halt auch als Gast nicht mehr willkommen. Ansonsten war alles sehr schön ❤️

It costs 50 EUR per day to bring a pet with you, something which is not clear from the hotel website or hotels.com and the check in staff were very “computer says no” about it. The premium room is a great size. I’d booked a Bosphorus view but being on a low floor meant it was only a partial view (again, this should be clearer on the website). The pool is great, good service. I enjoyed the food but it is very expensive. Amazing view from the City Lights bar. Excellent facilities in the spa. The hairdryers in the spa changing rooms are far better than the hairdryer in the bedroom!!

in General it was good, front desk agents are not so welcoming but polite, rooms need some update it feels a little old fashion that there are not enough power outlets in the room close to the bed. Gym and spa facilities are really good, also try the sky bar the view is stunning. Definitely would choose this hotel every time visiting Istanbul.

Great hotel with wonderful staff. The breakfast was a great way to start each day, with a great selection of items and personalised omelettes available and well worth adding in, as was a room with a spectacular view across the Bosporus. The pool was lovely for moments of relaxation with very attentive pool staff. As for location, if you're comfortable jumping on the metro or trams nearby, you're only about 20-30mins away from some of the main tourist attractions such as the Hagia Sophia. The public transport was easy to navigate and very reasonably priced! The rooftop bar is worth a visit to withgreat views over Istanbul!

It was a very classy hotel with excellent staff in dining area. I was a little bit disappointed with the staff who change the bed. I have to ask to get refill for shower gel and another day for tissue and towels. I do not know whether the room was cleaned two time in 5 days. But the majority of the staff are friendly and helpful. I will recommend the hotel. When we go back, we like to book again this hotel .

Booked a suite and 2 standard rooms for 4 nights It was so unusual and weird to have the 3 rooms out of three booked rooms not properly cleaned, the carpets are not hoovered, they miss changing all towels, the smell of the bed sheets the last night was awful despite that they were changed water is not replenished etc…

The hotel is located in an excellent place where public transport is easy to use. Its a beautiful hotel and the only thing I didn’t like are outdated bathroom which are small and claustrophobic. Rooms size was good, breakfast was superb. Even as a vegetarian, had many choices.

Great customer service as always, and all the conveniences you’d expect at an intercontinental. Rooms are dated, but very comfortable and clean, with nice views. Only issue was this hotel allows smoking on lower floors, and smell is not contained to smoking floors only. We had booked a seaview room, but checked in very late due to delayed flight, so were given the last seaview room available on 5th floor which smelled like cigarettes. Staff was extremely helpful and within 15 mins had moved us to another room. Very convenient location, and pool nice for afternoon break from shopping in the area. View from rooftop bar was amazing!

I enjoyed my stay at Intercontinental, the front office, concierge and house keeping were all amazing and always smiling. The staff is very well trained and know how to make the guests happy. I want to mention Mehmet from the front office, he upgraded our room and was very helpful. Also Zainab from housekeeping was just a nice and welcoming lady. Great stay, great food and of course great staff.

I booked this room for my 17-year-old nephew—just two months shy of turning 18—and his adult companion. Upon arrival, the receptionist refused to check them in, citing his age, despite the fact that he was accompanied by an adult. This policy and the way it was enforced, was beyond appalling. We received no refund, no explanation beyond a rigid rule, and no willingness to accommodate or offer alternatives. The experience was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.

Excellent location and impeccable service. Close to metro station at Taksim square accessible to all major attractions. Staff at check in Desk went above and beyond. Concierge very helpful to arrange Bosporus cruise . Breakfast was fantastic and was included in the room, it is a standard in Istanbul. Very nice people and beautiful city. Will definitely come back and stay with intercontinental again. One of the best stays with Expedia over the past 5 years and maybe 10 years.

I had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Hotel in Istanbul. The hotel was very clean, and the lobby made a great first impression — grand and beautifully designed. The staff were extremely polite and helpful throughout my stay. The location was excellent, just behind Taksim Square, making it easy to reach many of the city’s main attractions on foot. Room service was available 24 hours and was excellent. Although I didn’t have the chance to use all the amenities, they looked fantastic. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Easy excess to public transport and lots of places to dine only if you are non vegetarian. Being a five star hotel it didn't have good dining options for vegetarian. Overall this hotel is good option if you're planning on staying in Taksim square.

The roof top bar has excellent views coupled with good music. Our food left a little to be desired. The food took awhile to arrive, and by then the fries were no longer hot. The rice and vegetables entre had the rice overpowering the vegetables which needed to be larger pieces with better seasoning.

Absolutely great experience. The hotel is well located on one side of Taksim Square and is easy to reach by public transport. The property is well maintained. Cleanliness is of a high standard. The staff are professional, courteous, and always willing to help. Whether at reception, the concierge desk, the lounge, the fitness area, the breakfast room, luggage services, or security, we consistently found everyone friendly and attentive. During our stay, we made use of most of the hotel facilities, including the spa, swimming pool, lounge, sauna, and relaxation area. All of them were well maintained and offered a very pleasant experience. A special mention goes to the LOUNGE TEAM, who welcomed us warmly every day and made us feel comfortable throughout our stay. Their kindness and attention were greatly appreciated. Thank you very much! Our room was located on one of the upper floors and offered a beautiful view of the Bosphorus, which made the stay even more enjoyable. It is really difficult to think of anything more we could have asked for. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would be very happy to return in the future.

Very bad staff service specially the person who ordered airport taxi for us, he sent us to a different airport, we missed our flight We paid 3x the taxi cost and extra one hour drive and we missed the flight

Room was ok and got good service but was not impressed with the room service of refreshing the room for day two, they didnt make the bed nor removed used coffee cup, just changed the towels and that was about it. Hence I noticed they were in my room. If I am paying for two nights or more, I deserve a good service for each day that I am paying, dont you agree?
