The staff were very nice and tried hard to fix some of the issues. The room looked great and the bed was comfortable but it was dirty. I had dropped something on the floor and realized under the bed was never swept. Like 2-3 inches of yuck. The bathroom was nice but the shower was dangerous. The shower floor was slippery and had a crack in it and would bleed out black stuff. I ended up putting a towel down so I wouldn't fall. The aircon was not cold. It was like 80-85' in my rm and only cooled off after sun went down. Finally, the wifi was very spotty. Most times had to go to lobby to do computer work. However, I was offered another room but I did not like the location and it was smaller and no difference in rm temp. On the plus side: I could wash my shirts and they would dry by the time I returned for the day. A small grocery across street offered toiletries, fruit, drinks and candy. Hotel walking distance (10-15min walk) to Bizarre and sites, tram station very close and it was safe with a descent breakfast buffet/omelet in am. The gym and lobby area were clean and actually cooler then my room.

Extremely helpful staff. Essential amenities like bottled water is free. Walking distance to great eateries like Vefa Bozacisi which you won't find anywhere else. Note that prices near hotels for food is tourist price, if you walk 500m away and find places to eat, the food is nicer and cheaper. Only downside was the hotel shower water pressure was really low. When we raised it staff were very helpful and sent someone immediately to fix the problem but couldn't resolve the issue. Stayed only 2 nights so I didn't bother asking to change rooms although they advised they could look into it.

No parking in the area, Police will not allow the cars to come in front of the hotel even though we had a paper from the hotel to allowing us. Everyone is rude, WiFi is very slow and works only 2 hours a day. I don’t recommend this place at all.

Only stayed here for the last night in Istanbul, hotel staff was very polite and courteous. Room was complimentary upgraded and late checkout was accepted. I left my car in the car park (which you have to pay 10 euros - for one night) until 5pm with no extra costs. Sultan Ahmet is 25 min walk, Sulaymaniyah is 15 min walk, and a lot of other bazaars are all 15-30 min walk.

What a lovely place to stay, a wonderful community of people, from the front desk, to bar staff, kitchen, spa services. These people really know how to give brilliant hospitality. They work hard to keep the customers happy, they made us feel welcomed the very first day all the way to our very last day. ❣️ Such a wonderful bunch of staff. I would definitely be returning. It’s clean, smells lovely, fresh with a modern look. The food was lovely. It’s the first hotel I have been to that have gluten free products on display at breakfast without me having to ask for it. Biscuits, cake and bread. This is rare I was so pleased to see this. Every hotel should do this. To accommodate everyones needs. The front desk were so helpful with anything we needed and also helped us to find tours or travel and outside entertainment and site seeing around the Istanbul city. It was such a pleasant and enjoyable stay. The staff are loving, caring and really care about their guests. They go the extra mile to make you feel happy with your stay. Kemel Gigdem, Faith and Mashsun they were my favorites and Spa service staff plus The hospitality staff made breakfast feel great. Front desk is the best, they set the tone for the hotel and bring high expectations and you definitely see it. We will certainly be coming back. Thank you Holiday inn Old City Istanbul.

Nous avons pris la meilleur suite de l’hotel et tout était parfait! Jacuzzi dans la chambre au top, lit King Size et le personnel était super agréable et à nos soins. Le petit dej est varié et à des heures flexibles. Assez bien situé à 3/4 minutes à pied du métro et du tramway.

Die Klimaanlage in meinem Zimmer war außer Funktion. Zudem war die Betätigungsplatte der Toilette teilweise herausgelöst, was ich umgehend an der Rezeption gemeldet habe. Leider wurde dagegen nichts unternommen. Außerdem befanden sich unter meinem Bett Papiertücher und Wattestäbchen, was einen äußerst unhygienischen Eindruck hinterließ.

Floor had stains all over it. The bedroom floor had black stains and the toilet floor had red stains on it. The double bed was not a double, it was two singles put together so you couldn't sleep in the middle of it as the two mattresses would just split. the location is good close to touristic areas. the management employees were great very helpful and friendly, especially Mr. Erdal the day shift receptionist was the best. BUT the room cleaning was awful a lot of dust under the bed. in addition to discovering missing cigarette packs and someone stealing a good amount from my roommate's whisky bottle.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Soap stains on sink surround remained there for the duration of the stay.Only one tea bag for two people had to ask for more on 2nd night of stay. Still did not give any milk for the gave up at that point. Cooked breakfast items were cold limited choice for 22euros per person

スイートに一泊しました。寝室はリビングと分かれていないため、正しくはジュニアスイートになると思います。しかし、部屋はとても広く、一般的なスイートより広いくらいです。内装はホテルの写真ではチープに感じましたが、実際は悪くありませんでした。ソファーや椅子も良い部類です。ベッドはポケットコイルではなく、妻の寝返りが伝わってきたのは残念です。。シャワーブースの床が割れていたので修理が必要でしょう。洗面台は二つあり使いやすく、ワードローブも多く使いやすい。清掃は便器の前の床が汚れて見えたのは今ひとつでした。バルコニーの壁は高いけれど、一応海が見えました。遠くにミナレットのあるモスクも見えて、イスタンブール感を味わえます。料金は広さと設備の割にはとてもリーズナブルでした。トータルとしてはコストパフォーマンスが良く、また滞在しても良いホテルでした。移動については割と近くにトラムの駅があるので不自由はしませんでした。スタッフは丁寧でした。朝10時くらいについたのに、チェックインさせてもらえたのはとても助かりました。こちらからお願いはしていません。その点を考慮して星5としました。ホテルのレストランの品揃えは今ひとつでしたが、近くにあるGaragumuレストランが比較的安い料金で美味しく、持ち帰りもでき良かったです。そこではApple payも使えました。

Room was quite small, the room next door was being used as a staff room so was noisy throughout the day and night while staff were coming and going. Breakfast was ok, limited other options around the hotel so was needed. Location wise, this was our first time in Istanbul and the hotel isn't as centrally located as you'd think, long walk to the touristy areas and restaurants.

I have stayed in this property multiple times. staff are extremly well trained, professional and more so go out of their way to help. the service is unmatchable. me and my family have no reason to stay elsewhere especially the cost of rooms are relatively speaking lot less than similare hotels. highly recommend this place specially if you are a first timer in Istanbul.

Hotel was good, clean, location is nice, breakfast was good, was also good for dinner. The staff was SPECTACULAR! I had an accident during the trip and the hotel manager was amazing, he arranged everything (ambulance, hospital, translated..), the entire staff was always there to help, they really made the difference! I have no words to describe this team of people, they are above and beyond.

We satyed 5 nights( 2 rooms) at this property Aug 25.From reciption desk to checking in and check out it was a wonderfull experiance. hotel staff was excellent and very helpfull 2 young lads(Emirhan &Deniz) at reception extremely polite and helpfull . food and Bevrages Manager (Gagatay or Gigdem i have misplaced his name )was very helpfull and friendly person with a smile on his face . rooms were clean thanks to house keeper manager Ruya over all very satisfactory and enjoyable stay .We are already planning to vist next year

A good hotel in a central yet peaceful location. Metro and bus connections are just a 4-minute walk away. The breakfast deserves special mention for its great variety and quality.
