River Cree Casino is our go to place to stay when traveling to Edmonton. 24 hour room service, fitness center and casino. The rooms are fabulous and the hotel employees are very personable and accommodating. There are a few restaurant options that are great and they open early and stay open late as well.

Amazing stay as usual. I do wish they would have parking for hotel guests though. They do have an area for casino parking but it seems everyone can park anywhere & with the renovations I do find parking more difficult when we stay there.

Everything was wonderful as usual. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is there was a long hair on our shower wall which was not ours & our room was extremely noisy during the night. It was from the fan because when we turned it off the noise stopped. It was the 1st room we have ever had that was not up to par & we've been coming here for years!

The coffee maker was not clean, the coffee in the room was like tea. The desk was dirty. The room was comfortable but for the price, nothing is outstanding to warrant $330 a night other than the convenience if you are playing in the casino.

Our initial arrival was great. The hotel lobby staff was welcoming and great. Our room was clean and confortable. In-room service was fast and courteous. The Venue concert was amazing. We loved being up on the balcony. The gentlemen that taught me how to play Roulette was patient. We were not impressed by the bartenders in the center bar. I understand they have a lot of people wanting their attention. But when someone stand at the bar for 10 mins, and the bartender clearly notices you there but then takes the order of the person next to you that Just walked up to the counter.... you need to be more observant of your work space and customer. Over all it was a good new experience. We will definitely go to another concert at the River Cree.

The only issue I had with the hotel was arriving early and asking if my room was ready. They advised no rooms were available then when I pushed back they advised I can get an early check in for $20 - which meant there were rooms. I paid $20 to get into the room 1 hour earlier to get ready for a concert even though I had 2 rooms booked. When I advised I was Gold with Expedia they advised this was their policy. The only other suggestion I have is when there are major concerts going on in the city it would be nice for the hotel to have a shuttle (for a cost) to take people to and from the venue as the hotel is a ways from the stadiums.

The guy at check in was extremely rude, I booked the stay for our 20th anniversary and was not impressed. At midnight we had to call down after being woke up by screaming guests next door. The security staff did come up after 20 minutes and they did get them to stop. This was the 2nd time I have stayed there and been woke up in the middle of the night, last time we didn’t call down and the next morning the police were escorting someone from across the hall out. The waiter at the Kitchen restaurant the next morning was very friendly.

Stayed here for a ladies night out to enjoy a show. When exiting the show, one of my gf’s was approached by casino security and told she needed to leave the casino due to another individual (unnamed) having reported her as intoxicated. Our group was embarrassed and shocked at this treatment as we were merely walking to eat supper after the early show and were not causing any type of disturbance. We asked to speak to the supervisor who was equally dismissive, insisting that we needed to leave the casino floor. We went for supper, and headed to our rooms, and left the next day after breakfast. The incident completely ruined our night out and we felt grossly mistreated. I don’t know if we will return.

the room was great I'm giving you this rating because of the service I received at the kitchen restaurant. I told our waiter at the beginning of of our dinner i had my casino card which entitled us to 10% off our meal. He said no problem I will take it at the end of our meal. He brought us one drink and never asked us again if we wanted another. He brought the bill and when i said what about my card he just said sorry i forgot. He could have redid the bill but he never he just kept saying sorry I forgot. On a 267 bill thats a big savings we never received. To top it off its a buffet and he wanted a 20% tip for really doing nothing. Was very disappointed with the service.
