What guests think

At Wangcome Hotel, travellers highlight the central, walkable location near the night market and sights, consistently friendly and helpful staff, and a generally good breakfast, while also noting that the property is older with dated areas and occasional maintenance issues.

Rooms are typically spacious with effective air conditioning, but decor and bathrooms can feel worn, and several reviews mention very hard mattresses. Cleanliness is generally good, though a few guests found lapses like hair in bathrooms or ants, and some reported noise from nearby venues or thin walls. Overall, a practical, budget-friendly base in an older property.

Comfortable, clean room. Bathroom could use updating. There was a kettle but no coffee or tea, etc. available. in the room. Pool was cooler than we prefer and was located in a shaded area in the middle of the building. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't beat the location - short walk to the night market, the Clock Tower and lots of restaurants!

The bed was extremely hard. I didn’t even know they made beds that hard, it’s as bad as sleeping on the floor. When we arrived, they gave us a tea to welcome us, which was nice. We sipped them as we walked to our room and the next morning, the glasses were full of ants. The fridge was not cold and smelled of leaking refrigerant. At that point, we were tired and grossed out so we asked to be moved. The staff were kind and accommodating. But the bed in the new room was just as hard. We were very uncomfortable and barely slept the whole time we were there The positives are that the location is fantastic and very walkable. It is close to the night bazaar and walking street with access to lots of restaurants and shopping.
