Being in a road trip with an electric car one of the main reasons for booking this hotel was the electric car chargers listed in the amenities. They were not working when I arrived after a 12 hour drive. And apparently hadn’t been for quite some time

This hotel was located right around the corner from Rainey St and a short walk to 6th street. We could also hop on the river trail and easily get to S Congress St shopping. The room was clean and it had the nicest gym hotel I’ve seen in while. Parking at almost $50/day wasn’t ideal, but we knew it ahead of time. There are zero other options for parking. If you want a clean hotel with easy access to downtown Austin, we’d recommend this place!

Staff was great. Everything was really clean. Great location. My only suggestion would be if you are going to close the pool make people aware. Part of the reason we chose this property was the pool pics. No apology, no real explanation just told it was closed and we weren’t allowed out there. And I had a kiddo and it was spring break.

The shower in our room was gross and had hair and noticed when we walked in. We asked for another room and the other room also had a gross shower. We left and they gave us a refund. They didn’t apologize or work to make amends. They also force you to tip the valet to order the car when we tip the valet when we gave them the car in cash.

The only second time staying at the down town cambria. The first time was in April. I wanted to give it a second change as it is close to everything I was looking for. Once again I had a nasty room with hair all over the floor. They are not cleaning the rooms as they should

I’m not one to rate hotels but our stay was mediocre at best when it comes to cleanliness. Our first room was dirty and had a broken door handle and clogged sink and trash along with contacts on the counter. We were moved to a different room and it was also dirty, old food in the fridge and the water pressure for the shower was awful. It felt like showing from a garden hose.

No breakfast was offered. The carpet in the room was filthy. Stayed 5 nights. 3 day clean up consisted of hanging up new towels and refreshing bathroom. No vaccuming, no cleaning. Fire and being outside in the middle of the night for two hours was not pleasant or conducive to rest.

Initially thought room was nice, then noted there is red lipstick all over the chair in the room, there has been something brown and sticky spilled by the dresser and not cleaned, the shower knobs are hard to use and spin all the way around to where you can not regulate the temperature, they only provided one towel. Parking is $50 a day and not included in the reservation. You can hear doors opening and closing down the hall. I would not recommend staying here to family or friends.

The toilet had not been cleaned but the front desk had it quickly cleaned. The hotel and room decor is beautiful but my room was very noisy. The freeway out my window was loud and so were the couple in the room next to me. It was difficult to sleep.

I loved my stay at Cambria! Beds were so cozy, staff members were very nice! My room was amazing - so spacious and the view was breathtaking to see in the mornings. I was sad I had to leave! My mini fridge never seems to work in any hotel, so that was a small (but expected) bummer. Lovely stay and I hope to come back soon!

Water pressure sucks! I couldn’t wash my hair for fear of soap bubbles not being washing out. I let the front desk know upon check out and she didn’t seem to care. Coffee is nespresso in the room but they only give you two pods (ask for more if you need more tho the machine makes a very small cup). Bed and pillows were amazing or maybe I was just super tired the whole time. Very soft and comfy. Bathroom could have been cleaner (floor board of shower was not clean at all). Only huge complaint was the water pressure. If you hate noise, don’t stay here. Its view on the river/lake side is of Rainey St and very loud all weekend.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our first night there was a little chaotic cuz it was a Saturday night and we had been traveling all day but Jeremiah at the front desk made our check in very smooth and went above and beyond to help us settle in. Definitely recommend!

I wish the hotel would have explained payment process as I checked in. Woke up every morning surprised to see pending charges on my card later to find out they were incremental pre-authorization charges. Also bought a $9 latte and being charged $20. Dine in also needs some changes, walked in few times and basically sat myself every time with no one in sight. Not that many people working in restaurant. Service was very lagged taking orders and wait time. Room was also very humid with floors very wet and slippery the entire time. The valet was really the only pleasurable experience.

We went down this weekend for our birthdays as a couple in our 50s. The hotel itself is amazing and in a great location. Room service was nonexistent. They never came and cleaned our room. We had to ask for towels multiple times and they would only bring one or two towels never brought face towels after being asked several times never made the bed never cleaned the room never mopped or anything Very disappointing even after I told them room service had not come. They still did not send anybody to . We also decided to have breakfast on Sunday morning downstairs in the main area. It did not go as planned. A regular breakfast ended up taking almost an hour and a half to two hours. My food came out incorrectly. They forgot to order items. The weight staff was very slow and unattended. I was not very happy with the overall service of the hotel, which is a shame because the hotel itself is in a great location and the rooms are awesome

Great hotel for basing yourself in Austin and easy to get around. Very good facilities. The only negative would be the noise from I35 which is a busy road. The other side of the hotel faces onto the Rainey street which plays loud music, so I preferred the road noise to the clubs. Anything to improve the sound proofing then 5 out 5.

The hotel is located just off Rainey street and also in walking distance of downtown Austin. The room was spacious and comfortable . The staff were friendly and helpful. It has a nice pool area . It also has a roof terrace off the bar/restaurant area which is a nice place to sit.

The area surrounding the hotel has a lot of construction going on (it seems that is everywhere is Austin) but the hotel abuts Rainey St which has an abundance of great restaurants and bars with live entertainment. We also took a quick walk to Cenote for breakfast, a must go! It’s also a 5 minute walk to a trail abutting Lake Lady Bird, part of the Colorado River, where you can rent kayaks and paddle boards. It’s also not a far drive from the shopping district. The hotel is clean, modern, and staff were great. Wonderful pool with a bar beside it too.

Booked last minute and had to attend an event. Checkin and valet was smooth. Bartender service is slow and we went to have breakfast and waited nearly 30 minutes just for some water. Amazing property just need work on some service.

I stayed here when attending a conference at the Convention Center right before SXSW. Ten minute walk from the hotel meant I was able to leave my car parked for three days! Very good food, nice bar too, very friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel, everyone was so nice. The room was great. Walkable to 6th St and Rainey. Pool was beautiful. A little upset that we weren't made aware in advance that the rooftop would be closed for a private event on Saturday, that was one of the main reasons why I booked there. Overall it was a good experience.

We loved everything about this place. It was easy access to my son's place who lives close to UT. We were so tired the second night there, we just had dinner and drinks at the hotel restaurant. It was fancy and nice without making it feel too awkward. (Sometimes too fancy makes me nervous. )
