Bathrooms are frequently described as very small, and a few guests note limited soundproofing or noise from neighbors or the road. The mid-Cape location is handy for beaches, shops, and restaurants with plenty of parking, though accessing the busy road can be inconvenient. On-site dining is seasonal—poolside drinks and a food truck—and there is no breakfast, but coffee and eateries are close by. A practical choice for a design-forward stay on the Cape.

Facilities
Standout outdoor amenities include a well-maintained pool and hot tub, fire pits, and a seasonal pool bar/food truck; complimentary bikes and ample parking add convenience. A few guests found lounge chairs insufficient at busy times, and some facilities operate with limited hours off season.

Property overall was great ! Nice clean room bed was comfortable and clean!the bar and the bartenders are awesome drinks are great!! Pool area is nice too but need more lounge chairs we were told they were more coming but never did ! not enough for all the people at the hotel also we stay for 3 days and could never used the jacuzzi because was full of kids wish they had a minimum age requirement for that would make easier for adults to use it ! Overall was a nice stay will come back if some changes are done ! Staff need to be a little nicer when checking out we were given a little trouble after both our cards were charged and after speaking with the manager from desk lady still was asking about the amount due !! Weird but ok not a big deal!! She did not know what she was doing I guess !!

Property was newly renovated and looks terrific. A contemporary interpretation of Mid Century Modern. Just loved the Turquoise and Melon (orange) color scheme. Room was spacious and layout was perfect with a built in banquette and table for working or hanging out. Nice outside area with pool, hot tub, fire pits and a “food truck” that opens at 3pm serving drinks and flatbreads. Service was impeccable. Friendly and capable staff. We LOVED this place and would certainly stay again.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The pool with music and a bar was lovely, the room comfortable, well-appointed and quiet. Lots of parking and several restaurants close by. The staff was great being mid Cape was a good launching point to discover other areas of the Cape. I would definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel was spectacular. The renovations and remodeling done to the facility were amazing when I open the door and went into my room. I was in amazement in how the hotel was revitalize to look very chic, modern hip, and has a very artistic Decour to it. The staff was amazing as always, very kind, polite and helpful. The property was spectacular and its cleanliness, the amenities the pool area. We’re just perfect. AWESOME. They did a fantastic job -standard motel layout but far from standard. The vibe and decor is fun, modern, unique, and an homage to the Rock Era. The pool was very clean and an awesome setup; partial indoor/outdoor garage style and an actual deep end (8 ft). Pool hours are 9AM-10PM and it is in a perfect spot with direct sunlight. Seating was mixed; tables and chairs, 3 cabanas ( $), and a limited number of lounge chairs (~10). I can foresee that being an issue if you want to layout and its busy. They provide towels, beware they are on the teeny tiny side. We stayed in the Standard King - it was much roomier than expected. There was a table w/ bench seating, bedside tables, entertainment center, and open concept closet/shelving w hangers. The drawers were a little small, and the hanging rack was a little low, but it did the job just fine. The room had AC, a Keurig, fridge, (microwave in lobby), TV with screensharing capabilities, safe, hair dryer, steamer, and plenty of charging ports. Bathroom was cute; shower head/pressure was light. Loved the soaps though - they smelled SO good. Everything was very clean, and the staff was helpful and friendly. If you can't do stairs, make sure you're on the bottom level. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the details that matter. I don't have enough room to continue, so bottom line is it is awesome, a refreshing change from the typical motels on the cape and definitely worth the stay. I will be back for sure!!

Loved the cute mid century modern style of the rooms. Very fun vibe! The pool was nice and clean. We were there on a weekday and the pool bar wasn't open (bummer) but otherwise we had a very nice time. Would be a fun place to come with friends! There's not a whole not nearby that was open for food and drink past 8 or 9, but we did go after peak season, so I imagine they have later hours during the summer.

Impeccable stay! Details details! Comfortable bed and all the amenities you would need such as a mini fridge, lovely upgraded tv with a great selection of channels. The blinds were modern with black out option and decor were stylish and rocking. The furniture was all cozy and made it feel like a little condo all your own. Even the tiles in the bathroom area were high end. The pool and surrounding areas were amazing and the staff makes you feel like rockin royalty. The fireplaces outside were an added bonus to add to your evening adventures. I love that the pool stays open until 10! In season, they offer yummy foods and cocktails so you never have to leave.

Freebird has been our home away from home on Cape Cod for many years. Close to beaches, shopping, entertainment, and great restaurants. Check in was fast and friendly, while sipping a glass of complimentary champagne. Beds are super comfortable, complete with a towel animal, and the rooms are really clean. Split bathroom, so two people can get ready at once. The outdoor space has been transformed, with fire pits and a bar/food area outside the pool. Pool and hot tub are always part of our day, and they sure go great with an umbrella drink. Pool music is always on point. Even the room keys are fun. The only rainy day we had, we received a text that if we wanted flatbreads from the truck, that they would deliver it to our room! We could stay dry. Great customer service. In a time where customer service is falling by the wayside, Freebird is upping their game. See you next summer!

Such an adorable retro renovation. Rooms are spacious, beds and pillows super comfy, great design and spotless. Sparkling pool ,fire pits, corn hole and cabanas... awesome vibe.

Beautiful hotel, the interiors are fantastic, and the pool/cabana area is perfection. Only downside is that the rooms don’t have much soundproofing, you can hear upstairs/side neighbors. Other than that, a great place to stay with kids!

Cute retroish place. Pool, spa, fire pit and cornhole nice added features. The only issue was that the bathroom area was too tight with the configuration of having the door right next to the toilet which was right next to the tub with the sink area outside. Would be much better if the wall between the toilet and sink was cut back a little and the door moved to the other side of the sink. It is also a privacy issue because you have to get changed in a super small place with the tub and toilet with the door closed because if you do not close the door others can see you in the BIG mirror on the wall.

The bathrooms are ridiculously small. You almost have to stand in the tub in order to close the door. There’s about a half inch between the door and the toilet. My bathroom had an awful stench of urine and I did say something to the front desk and they offered us a different room. Great location but I don’t think I’d go back. Don’t think the room was worth the cost. Can get way better rooms at that rate in the same areas.

Overall we had a wonderful stay and the cocktails were a great way to end the evening. All employees was wonderful and the whole place was very clean. Only slight negatives were the road outside is v busy and difficult to get out of and we could hear the kids in the room nextdoor but they didnt get up early so not too bad.

This hotel is an excellent option while on the Cape! The rooms are clean and modern. Just understand that depending on where you are trying to visit on the Cape, it is a bit remote with not a lot of restaurants near by. However, Hyannis is close (10 minute drive). If in the area, eat at Tugboats! Excellent! Overall great hotel, nice staff, clean rooms!

This motel is really adorable, with a retro, fun vibe, renovated rooms, and a cute pool area with a bar and fire pits. The staff were friendly and helpful and they let us check out late so our kid could enjoy the pool for an extra hour. Definitely recommend!

Property itself was nice-spacious rooms, comfy beds, and with the exception of one encounter, the staff was great. Not much around the immediate area and located on a busy road.

This hotel is adorable!🤗 the outdoor pool is lovely and the dirty birdie food truck is the cherry on top! Rooms were clean with super comfortable beds and pillows- and it was a central location for the cape with Hyannis just 10mins away! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun cape cod getaway!

I had a great stay at the hotel—clean rooms, friendly staff, and a convenient location made it enjoyable. The amenities were solid, though the breakfast could use more variety. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it and would stay again.

I stayed here for one night and I was very impressed with the room. It’s exactly as pictured in the advertisements. It’s nicely renovated and looked and smelled clean. The bathroom area is very small. The open bathroom door is less than a foot away from hitting the tub. I was pleased with the water pressure. The sink is easily accessible outside of the bathroom. Beds and pillows were clean and cozy. I would definitely stay again.
