Rooms are nice Train noise is really bad at night And the hottub was not working

Pool was out of service. No room service.

Very well lite parking lot. Very nice place to stay.

Nothing wrong with the facilty , just basic mid-quality. You get what you pay for in terms of upkept hotels/motels. Was sad when we arrived to check in that the pool was closed. My kids had been looking forward to that, i would have stayed elsewhere if i had known the pool was closed. Nothing to do about it there, things break, just bummed. Staff was good, check in was quick and simple.

The property is a nice Western US facility with very covenant parking. Just know you’ll likely hear a train whistle. But can be a great family learning experience!

There was no hot tub it not working

It was good, but the hot tub had no working jets. Also, the breakfast should be vegan only and not cater to those gross consumers of animal products.

Very clean hotel, comfortable beds, nice indoor pool and hot tub. Fast elevator, I know this doesn’t sound like much but the last 5 hotels I stayed at had very slow elevators. Like a full 2 minutes waiting on it to even show up. This one was there in 3 seconds and had you the lobby in 2 seconds. Only downside is the train station right across the street. I didn’t hear it in the room but outside was loud ever 5 minutes. But a non issue once inside

Have stayed her plent of times. Like it for its location to the fairgrounds. Things i didn't like, pool was FREEZING, and breakfast was kind of blah. Also the carpet felt wet in the room.

Clean room and staff was friendly.

Just don’t go here. We really did not enjoy our stay at all. The place smelled bad upon arrival. Our room was covered in animal hair, like it had not been vacuumed at all and the bathroom floors were dirty. They did switch us to another room when we told them that room was too dirty, but the second room smelled so bad!! It was just overall a bad night for us. The staff were great but the place itself isn’t it.

We got the first room and it was dirty, smelled like smoke, TV did not work. Requested another room. That room had cheese smears on the side of the bed and smelled of smoke. Got another room it was cleaner but overall really disappointed.

The property itself wasn’t bad. On the outside it’s not terrible.The bed was comfortable, and the room had good furniture. However, the bathroom was one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever seen. There was shower scum in the tub. The tub itself was cracked and faucet handle was hanging on by a thread. Not only that but the shower didn’t drain so I was standing in a puddle as I showered. All I could think of was all the people who had been there before me. I felt like I left that shower experience dirtier than I entered. Finally, beneath the sink was the gnarliest water damage I’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend that The Sleep Inn in Clovis update their bathrooms. I under that it’s cheap and you get what you pay for, but I shouldn’t have to worry about my health.

I slept well here but the facility needs work. The whole hotel smelled like chlorine from the pool and other smells I could not identify. None of the TVs worked. The major concern was mold on the ceiling that looked like it had leaked and been patched. Finally, there was never a person at the front desk so to check out I left my room key on the desk and walked out.

Staff was very nice and professional. Rooms are nicely renovated, and the bed od very comfy. Only thing that needs to bd done is they need to renovate the showers.

Stayed overnight and on the way to Colorado from TX. Check in was easy and rooms were clean. The shower in my room had very little pressure. Breakfast and coffee definitely need to be upgraded because they were both horrible.

The staff was very kind and welcoming, the breakfast was small but good. The only issue I had was that our sink would drain very slowly and the shower never got very hot. All to say it’s an affordable option

For the price, good place to stay while travelling through. Staff was helpful and cheerful. Hallways needed vacuuming. Room was clean enough. However.....When we went to use the shower, we realized that the side wall of the shower was cracked from top to bottom. Front Desk didn't seem to know and said they would have someone take a look at it the next morning, offered to take a look at it that night. It wasn't noticeable till you actually got in the shower, but it should have been seen if someone cleaned that wall of the shower.........

there was a visible open crack on the shower/tub. functioned okay but water will get in that crack. breakfast was marginal. with few choices and chalky tasting gravy

Bed was comfy and shower was hot and had good pressure that’s all we care about.

Was awaken a few times at night from trains right across the street. Shower did not get hot water and the room smelled a little funny. Bed was too firm for me so sleep was also uncomfortable. It's Clovis though, don't expect to get much better unless you go further away from the train tracks into town.

Overall, Sleep Inn was a good stop over place during my road travel through Clovis. The place looks recently renovated, shared areas were clean, and the accommodations were comfortable. With that being said, I have concern. Even though the hotel looks like it went through recent renovations, I was put in a room that was in no shape to be given to any guest. It was obvious damage was isolated to this single room, and the damage was deep in both the sleeping and bath spaces. I was given a different room when I requested a change, which was the proper thing to do. For that, I do keep the overall review positive. But truth be told, given the condition of the first room, I pause to question how welcome I was in this business. I have requested a direct contact to Management to share pictures and details. Overall, I would give this property a positive review with caveat of awareness. During this time, I consider any establishment that runs Fox News on the common television not safe for a demographic that does not fit the Fox News profile. As a solo traveler, these are cues I pay attention to. Given the room I was given, Fox News running in the background and my presenting demographic, it gives a warning cue. The guests were varied, so that helped give me a bit of feelings of security. However, a weather channel would be a better choice to run on the television for your guests AND staff to see.

Appeared updated and clean but our room was smelled bad and musty. Bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, black spots in tub. Bed was soft and clean.

Room was just what we needed for the night. Shower a little old but worked just fine.

Front desk was very helpful. Property was clean. Noise from the trains was the only negative.

Great staff! Had toothpaste for free when i had accidentally packed mine in s box during my move.

Christina working the front-desk during our check-in was genuinely kind, thoughtful, and caring. No amount of training causes this to happen. It was all her. Otherwise, although the building is long-in-the-tooth, the rooms are clean, and the area is quiet. Other than the distinct and quite powerful odor of weed on our floor, everything was as good as it gets for a Sleep Inn. Breakfast, on the other hand, was a horrible mix of food-like substances that should only be eaten by those looking to shave years off their lives.

We requested an accessible room; it was on the 2nd floor. The bathtub drain did not do its job and there was an inch of water when showering. The complimentary dispensers contained lotion, not hair conditioner (not an issue for us, but a general observation that shows lackluster care). The room AC unit had a slow drip that resulted in a very wet floor that we didn't see due to the color of the carpet, and a box we had with us was destroyed. Also, the TV did not work initially. The manager came to fix it, but his fix didn't work. We decided to not worry about the TV, but the wi-fi was also spotty; we used our phone hot spots instead. We left a night early. When we checked out a night early, we weren't able to negotiate a refund due to using a 3rd party to purchase (ultimately received $2.20 for canceling the last night- check the fine print!). The desk clerk was not apologetic and did not appear to write down that the A/C unit needed fixing. We won't be back here.

Employees were amazing, we arrived early and young woman was able to get us in our room. They were attentive to our needs and very friendly.

Staff was friendly and it was quiet

I usually don’t review properties that I pick for a one night stop during my annual drives from AZ to NY. After all, you just want a quiet, inexpensive room. However this property was exceptional in so many ways. First, all of the staff were very welcoming, nicely dressed and helpful. Next, the room was very clean, everything work and the bathroom nicely remodeled. The management team are interested gardeners as they grew beautiful roses, had the lawns nicely mowed and when I mentioned this they welcomed my comments. The property is right off the Interstate and very close to shopping, restaurants and gas stations. I’ll certainly remember this place.

The mgr called me on the road to make sure of when I was arriving. He was very kind and warm and I felt cared for and valued as a customer. Very nice! Welcomed me and answered any questions I might have. Feeling good about it. The room is nice and I’m ready to rest.

Terrible night, actually without sleep due to the railroad traffic and it’s loud announcement of arrival every 20 minutes which was never disclosed. We left the hotel at 4:00am as there was no way we could sleep. Very contradictory to the name of the hotel.

The staff that checked us in (at midnight) was very sweet. The folks we encountered in the morning were also friendly. The place was clean, but it’s got some deferred maintenance that should be addressed. Nothing major, but doors and finishes could use a sparkle. Also, because we are familiar with the area we knew about the train, which is right across the ateeet at at a horn intersection. But if something like that bothers you, pick a place not on Hwy 70.

This was a really helpful staff in straightening out our reservation. Good breakfast. Beds soft and clean. The only thing that would have brought it to top ratings is if it was walkabout to anything. You must drive to restaurants which is not a big deal.

Great place for a night while traveling--other than the problematic traffic and railroad noise.

Hotel was very clean, bed too soft, the room that we were given was at very noisy end of the wing. Train honks at road crossing every few minutes, if we got 2 hrs of sleep, we were lucky. I know not your fault for train, y’all put us at noisiest wing, hotel was not full

The hotel itself is quiet but it’s on a main road and across the street from a railroad and it’s very loud when the train comes by.

The staff is kind, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only negative is the hotel is 50 yards from a railroad track that has a train going by every 30 minutes throughout the night.

Train tracks behind the property involved numerous train horns throughout the night.

Absolutely loved this place. A great place to bring your family for a stay. Breakfast was amazing and the staff was great!

AC was weak. Coffee was bad. Price was good.

Took a while to check in because front desk was not manned. Room was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast is only so so. Coffee was very weak and tasteless even on bold.

The oj and apple juice was hot. The food for breakfast was tastless.it had no flavor. They need to work on that. Other than that it was a nice stay and i will be back. Just won't eat breakfast.
