Comfort Suites Clovis North

I have only 1 complaint. THE SWIMMING POOL. We got this hotel for our Grandkids to swim, but they put chemicals in the pool and couldn't swim. Who does that! Especially on a weekend! Disappointing!!!!!

The hotel suited my needs very well. Parking was a little difficult on a busy night, but that happens. Otherwise it was fine.

The hotel grounds and lobby area was clean and esthetically appealing. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast had many choices, all very fresh! The pool area was kinda a disaster. The hot tub was broken, there was only one pool towel. The chairs and tables were scattered about, I felt like I was navigating a toddlers room. They pool was nice tho. Our room was very spacious! It had a large deep jetted tub, but all around the jets was slimy and orange, which made me believe this tubs filter was probably never changed, and I wasn’t about to soak in it. That was disappointing, I would’ve enjoyed That. Now there was a cricket in our room, he or she was very chatty all night, we did finally find our guest in the morning on the kids clothes. We shared our breakfast with it, it felt like the polite thing to do. Upon looking for our chatty guest I found all this sticky red stuff on the curtains, and it looked like whoever’s been cleaning that room has been skipping on vacuuming the corners and behind the curtains. There was so much dust on top of the curtains, you could clearly see it piling up over the years. That was very off putting. The beds were clean, and the mattresses too. I always pull up the mattress protector to check for bugs and stains, none here. The shower was not great. The shower head had terrible settings, I’d change that one out for a better one. The water stayed nice and hot tho for four people to take back to back showers.

We've stayed here many times in the past (we visit Clovis 3-4 times a year), but the quality has gone down so much over time. Half the lights in our room didn't work and the shower did not drain properly. You'd stand in three inches of water by the end. Also, the hot tub has been "under maintenance" our last three visits (over a span of six months), so I think they've just decided to abandon it. The breakfast was really disappointing, as well. Rubbery eggs and sugary cereals, yogurt with artificial sweeteners. Nothing of substance. We've really enjoyed our stays in the past, so it's sad to see the quality nose dive like this.

Room lights need updating as lights were dim once darkness fell. Dining chairs are peeling. Need to be replaced.

Great staff. Very spacious room. Surprisingly good breakfast with lots of hot options, including eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and. Make your own waffles. Hotel is on northern end of Prince Street, which is Clovis’s main drag. Smal but useful workout room, and a decent indoor pool if you swim laps for exercise. Overall hotel facility is not just clean, it’s spotless!. We were only therefor one night

We stayed here 2 nights while visiting our son and family, who are based at Cannon AFB. This is a LOVELY hotel and in a great location. They honored my request for a top-floor room. The room was immaculate and furnished well. The bed was comfortable and adorned with great linens. The plentiful fresh hot coffee and breakfast in the morning were appreciated. There is an elevator if you are assigned an upper-level room. A caution about Clovis tap water - it can affect you in a very bad way. I ALWAYS bring bottled water, even to brush my teeth. I noticed the ice makers at the hotel have a filter and I had no problems with the ice. Awesome - thanks!! A night light was provided in the sink area. Also appreciated! No USB charging plugs though - so bring your own. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Clovis!

My stay was great, only downfall was the facilities gym/workout room. The machines were worthless, out of order or in poor condition. Very poor quality equipments. Highly recommended them to upgrade.

The hotel hallways & room seemed recently redone. Room was spacious & clean. There was a mini fridge, microwave. Bed & pillows comfortable. I’d stay here again. Oh, nice breakfast. Safe parking.

Carpet in my room was very wet, not sure if it was recently shampooed or why it was wet, definitely kept my shoes on, front desk lady at check in was not friendly at all.

When we got there to check in we were standing for what seemed like 20 minutes until someone came to help us check in , the room was okay not exactly the cleanest and the bathroom door you couldn't even fully close it and lock it. The toilet was not very clean either. We did like that it was quiet and staff seemed very friendly , the breakfast was good and liked the location was very close to stores and restaurants.

Fast and friendly check in and very clean hotel.

Entire hotel needed new paint, halls and rooms. Had a smell, not great. Beds were clean and comfy. Ac was noisy, walls thin. Never stay here again.

This hotel is great overall. It’s clean, staff is excellent, and the room is spacious. The only thing that would make the stay even better is more light in the hotel room. The hotel room just didn’t have enough light in it especially at the sink area. Other than that the hotel was great. I do like that the sink area is separate from the bathroom.

Breakfast was awful! We went to eat at 7, an hour after breakfast started and there was barely anything left. Hot breakfast had a couple biscuits left and a scoop of eggs. At no time did it get refilled. Coffee was empty l, water was empty. The lady working the dining area was too busy talking to the girl behind the check in desk than to make sure things were being filled. Only thing I saw her fill was the yogurts. And every chair in the dining area had rips and tears in the pleather.

I was in Room 428 door was in such a bad shape that I did show my sister I was able to open it with the ‘not disturb “ sign. I reported it to the person in the lobby and answer was “ O yes, we have some others like that!……Seriously? I will never go back with that sense of insecurity!

The room I stayed in was the best hotel room I ever stayed in. I know that sounds crazy. It was big, clean, and it had the most comfortable bed. I slept 10 hours....and I never sleep 10 hours.

I have stayed a few places in Clovis NM, but this was by far the best to date, clean, quiet and staff was courteous, pleasant and helpful- front desk staff were not very visible and really didn't go out of their way to greet you unless you were checking in, but the rest of the staff-kitchen and cleaning were always pleasant and spoke very nice, otherwise would have gave all 5 stars. They had a water leak and it is obvious this is an older Hotel but still clean - I would definitely recommend staying here

Check in was great front desk checking in she was a doll. Checking out had a complete ass hole who had no customer care what so ever after bragging been there 12 years he was very rude asked for a recipe refused stating we dont do paper recipes when i stay at a comfort inn 3 nights a week all over the state of bew mexico and not once had an issue getting a paper recipe till today will never staybat clovis comfort inn again got yelled at ny work for bot gettinf recipe due to that gentle man.
