Travelodge by Wyndham Clovis

I would start by saying that the AC did work well so that’s important. My check-in at 2 AM went smooth. The following day I tried to go to the front desk to ask for extra towels, but nobody was there and they do not unlock the front lobby. So you always have to ring a window button. I got a room for six people, and they only gave us two towels. The plugs barely hold your charger cords. So I recommend bringing a extension cord so you have something reliable if you do find a plug that works. The plug for the microwave would flicker the lights when Used and turned off halfway through trying to make popcorn. There was not a plate in the microwave to put anything on and it looks like it had had an explosion inside. The refrigerator was a good size. There was stains all over the walls, the doors, paint chips, mold, stained all over the bathroom wall.. when I went to check the beds. It looked clean, but there was a few spots where it looked like somebody with dirty fingers was adjusting the sheets. The pillows were very Sine. Outside of the hotel, smelt like sewer. Housekeeping came every day around 11 to ask if we needed new towels or extra soap they did have a coffee machine. I did not attempt to use it. They do not serve breakfast. Someone’s leftover soap was in the shower so question if it was actually cleaned. Plenty of parking. Easy access right off the highway. Just know you get what you pay for. The owner asked for me to change my review, but I am always honest.

Very disappointing stay. The hotel was not clean, and many areas looked outdated and poorly maintained. The property needs substantial upgrades and better housekeeping. I would definitely won’t stay here again

First…..the picture of the office area IS NOT of the property. The outside appearance would get a 4. The room’s appearance would get a 4. Maintenance would get a 1! Missing smoke detector with 120volt wiring hanging down. Door knob was loose. Had problems getting the door opened and closed. One time took 2 minutes for me to get the door open. Life safety issue!!! Bath tub drainage was VERY slow. After taking a shower it took almost 4 minutes to drain. The night we stayed it rained. The roof leaked above the toilet. Brown dirty water everywhere. You could tell this was ongoing because of ceiling damage. The entry doorframe was not trimmed out. No drink cups or coffee pods. Towel had a large brown spot. TV did not work. This could be a nice place if maintained. Toilet paper hanger was broken. Was left with a roll 80% missing. No extra.
